belloabd1914:i use an 08 camry too... I think option 2 is the best way to go and if you don't have the means yet, continue with option 1 but expect to top up at 600mils interval and drain at 2k miles. That's how I've been using mine till i decide to replace the engine. Rebuilding is a no no for me |

GAZZUZZ:mine is going darker by the day. But i dey fear make one kazeem no go send my go village. Vehicle is 08 2AZ engine. I plan to replace it with type WS as it is written on the dipstick. Are there any steps to follow in the gear oil replacement that i can use to guide my mechanic. |

Good day car gurus, Firstly, there is this thing my toyota camry 2008 2AZ just started doing every morning on cold start. It won’t start on the first crank but it will always start on the second crank. After that cold start, it will keep starting well throughout the day. Secondly, there is thing other thing it does once a while. I might park for a few minutes to go do something and when i get back and crank the rngine, it will start and go off immediately. If i keep cranking it after that, it won’t come on. Unless i give it a few minutes to rest then i crank it again. I barely does this maybe one in two weeks or once a month. I’ve had my vehicle scanned and the only code there is the p0420 code for catalyst below threshold bank 1. I’ve had that code since I started using the vehicle so I don’t think it’s responsible for the issue I’m having |

Good day car gurus in the house, I loaned out my battery to a friend butwhen i got it back the battery almost didn't start the car I tried it first and it was just cranking slowly but it later picked and the engine started running. I drove for about 1km then i came to a stop and left the engine idling. Few minutes later, i move again and engine went off . I cranked it again so i could pull over properly it started but before i could move it went off. i was later able to pull over properly. I turned off the engine, opened the hood and i didn't see anything unusual. I checked the serpentine belt, transmission fluid level, coolant reservoir level (temperature gauge was at optimal level)..everything seemed fine I turned on the vehicle again and left it idling for a 5 minutes till engaged the transmission and since then it has been running smoothly Do i have anything to worry about? PS: engine first stalled when i was about make a u-turn |

I had my car scanned and i got this code twice P0420 catalyst efficiency below threshold level bank 1...I got the same code twice in two different scans and it was the only code Vehicle is a Toyota camry 4 cylinder 2AZ engine 2008 King reign Gazzuzz 9icetoo |
