I don't think so...but let the gurus chip in some more info Christian129: If you are flying into the US thru a state that is different from what you have on your Passport, it is compulsory that you have the ticket of the connecting flight or bus by the time of your arrival? Will failure to do so cause raised eyebrows? |

Exactly my point bro. Thanks GboyegaD: I did at some point and promised myself never to fly arik again. Their cabin crew members are disrespectful and proud, and they don't stick to time. Lastly, if your connecting flight from NY to your final destination isn't booked through them, kindly ensure you pick a flight with reasonable time space of at least 8hours as the delay in Lagos can be this long. |

You know it is good to always be consistent even if you are lying. Well, if your sponsor is stated on your I-20, better fill same on your DS-160 and be ready to tell the VO same thing. Any inconsistency can cause you your dream. In other word, be planning to defend who your sponsor is and how you are related. Kennyanderson: Good evening house, Please if I use someone's original bank statement that has high amount of money as sponsor to get i-20 form from a university, getting to the embassy, if they ask who will sponsoring my education am I free to say it's my dad. Hope they won't know I used someone else as sponsor to collect I-20 form from the school.
Thanks |

From CMS, If u are using a pub transport, enter a bus going to Bar beach/Eko hotel or Adeola Odeku. Alight at Bonny camp bus stop and cross to the other side of the road. Ask anybody there and you will be directed. It's not hard to locate. If you are driving, maintain a straight right direction. After the first bridge, keep maintaining your right till you get to a round about (Bonny camp round about). Make a U-turn and as if you are going back to CMS, the first big entrance to a big compound is US consulate. It's just about 5mins drive from CMS. Hope this help. Cheers. tunamost: Morning guyz, plz i need u to describe how to get to the US consulate from CMS...I believe knowing how to locate the place would also ease my tension on that day.... |

This is another beautiful suggestion for you. I really want you to get your visa this time. Pls follow these instructions. Thanks Fesobi. Fesobi92: You need to take a chill pill man. CALM DOWN!!!. Your case is not IMPOSSIBLE but you can make going amelika IMPOSSIBLE for yourself with inconsistent information. You no see "willfully misrepresenting information" = BAN. Haba, calm down na. If this guy no use him small boy sense spoil things, i'd say this is good enough to succeed. Thanks Arjomazy. ajomarzy: Then you need to be sincere when feeling your form then....put your work experience in the hospital(hospital name and role) from 2011 till when u got admission Then put the exact course you studied and exact date u started and finished (2013-2015)...civil engineering and the company you did IT with (All this would show you have not been idle)....tell them you had to work after sec school as u could not gain admission early and u did not want to remain idle..then hospital experience brought about wanting to read a course related to health care u developed passion for...

I think the first thing you need to do is to follow the gurus' advice... ensure you fill in your diploma this time and again, review the transcripts already posted here to structure your own responses. So many people here, including me did not wait for any mock interview from anybody before we got our visas. We just followed the thread and structure our own responses. Ensure you give detailed explanation to buttress your points before the VO. I pray God shows you mercy this time for your dream to come through. It is well. Chiezzh: Good day friends I paid for visa fee today and will fill my ds 160 tomorow ...I'm begging I know I didnt do well the last time I admit my mistake ...please help me and not scod me to get out of this and get my white paper ....what corrections will I do on my ds 160 please help me ...thank you ....I graduated from secondary school 2010 and got a diploma in 2015 .....please help |
