sobastical: Cos Ubuntu Os is hard to get off on systems ...n that same Ubuntu gave so many people the opportunity to know what a computer is . UBUNTU is a Southern African word that became so popular and anglocized as a result of it's frequent usage by Nelson Mandela...it means, I'm what I'm because of who we all are. In other words, our art of kindness towards each other goes a long way in putting us in the position we are in right now and in the future. For example, Linux released the ubuntu software for free so that, those who couldn't have used a computer because of the cost implications at that time, would be able to use one...that's an act of humanity and that's UBUNTU |

imperiouxx: Like I told Samuel, US is very vast. From Staten Island, NY to Buffalo, NY took me 5hrs driving at 100 mph consistently. If I should drive at 65 mph speed limit, I would spend 6.5 hrs. Transversing TX from east to west is about 12 hrs by bus. NY to TX is like driving from Morrocco to like Namibia with lot of hours spent on stopovers.
Referencing map doesn't always give you the true picture of the unending journey ahead. Apart from the huge amount of time you would spend on the road trip, it's usually a little cheaper than flying. It isn't worth the stress. So I would advice you to start looking for a connecting flight immediately. It isn't pay to fly from Nigeria to NY (about 18-23 hrs), then start Israelites road trooping from northeast to South/West. Next time, flying directly to TX can save you lots in term of energy.
Ask Samuel how he paid for his connecting flight. Someone tried booking American Airline for me for 274$ yesterday here in Naija with Ecobank's card, payment was declined but this evening, a staff of the airline called asking if he shd go ahead and issue the ticket and we said yes...and the guy said he was sending the ticket via email, which we are still expecting. Meanehile, no payment done yet shocked. Is that possible? |

SAMUELS3: Don't even try to book a bus from NYC to dallas, because it's going to a very long journey about 55hrs when I checked www.wanderu.com e bus price self is close to flight price. It is better you book a connecting flight from NY. My uncle in dallas booked for me (between $150-$200). I intend to visit for some days before moving to Manchester. |
