Jobs/Vacancies / Re: An Urgent Decision On A Job Offer by mchuxx(m): 3:29pm On Jul 30, 2015
I will advice you to stay back in the US for the following reasons;

1. Complete your education which u have 6months remaining.

2. U already have got work experience and good education, start immediately to apply for positions here in US even before u complete the 6months

3. Get your residency, give your family and kids better access and immediate response to quality healthcare, education and other social amenities. (Govt. most times fund 100% of these costs )

4. You don't need a N250k Nigerian salary. That's peanut , even in Nigeria when kids and family is involved. And because u pay you way through everything in Nigeria like Fuel for Gen set, fuel for Car etc. in event of emergency- U are still on your own.

5. The economy is not good at this time. (Business is not smiling now). N250k is roughly equivalent to $1000 usd. This is a chump change.
A naija friend who recently finished a Bsc Chem engr in TX landed a $90,000 job per annum in a multinational engineering firm. Note , he has no previous experience apart from industrial attachment experience. That's a good salary even from American standard. You too can do same, if u look hard enough.

6. Opportunities for Jobs abound in US, and most likely u will turn down offers to get a better pay as long as u have a clean record and green card unlike in Naija where a graduate may not even land a N30k job years after graduating.

I will cap it up with this: Stay back, garner work experience, establish your family here, invest in Nigeria and if better opportunity pops up in Nigeria-then accept it and move back. my 2cents

Hi everyone, I need urgent replies: I will be 23 in november, a graduate and working in a reputable firm, av an interview @ d us embassy next week, av all my documents and av previously travelled to Ghana in 2013, single. Pls wat r my chances?..
You have a fair chance but one particular hindrance is travel history. Ghana is actually not considered as a travel history. If you show u hav a good job and good income or business, you'll definitely get it. I got mine last Sept on a virgin passport, single, no travel history and above 30. However, I had a valid UK visa prior to interview.

Hello nairalander,
Weeks ago i posted it here asking for any information about an investment company called "STANDARD LIFE INVESTMENT COMPANY" that i met online but unfortunate for me there was not a corgent response, not untill i was duped by this company with 60k.
Pls, investors be careful about this company.. THEY ARE 419
Why wont you learn the simple way. I remember someone telling u to be careful, yet u went ahead and lost money. Others beware of investment offers, 95% are scam. Don't take tat 5% chance.

1. I'll like to know.... Does YOUWIN really give preference to existing business than new startups?

2. Are there priorities for the Business Sectors of choice? i.e Will it better I rather go for an Agric based project than a less popular Service (which I have more knowledge and passion for)?

3. Lastly I will like to know. I have done a survey of my current location and discovered this business is going to be the first of its kind in the whole city. Nobody does it. Now, there are a few places in the form that ask questions about your competitors. Do I just categorically state that I do not have competitors or do I assume there are, and still state how I will provide better services than my "assumed competitors".....

And the lack of competitors, is it an advantage or a disadvantage?

You have competitors, known or unknown, if not your immediate location then another location that finds itself or its customers in/from your location.

You always have competitors.

i heard ebube muonso's village at nkwele are plotting land for sale-350k per plot.
Also a village at nsugbe- 350k

@ugsams, i made a serious mistake in my planting. i calculated a plot to be 5000m2 , thinkig dt d measurement which is 50*100 is in meters bt it is 500m2 when i saw d survey plan, my spacing was also done wit d same mistake.
Since a hectare takes max of 2500suckers,a hectare is 10 plots so a plotshld take max250. some plant 100 suckers in a plot.

I didnot sleep d night i realised i made a mistake. Currently, i consider my farm a nursery of suckers. looking for a bigger farm to transplant. My farm is at Nwaobia Nkwelle. Like i said b4, its in a rwsidential plot i bought in an estate, so i decided to plant it there since i dont have plans to build there anytime soon. Am currently looking for a bigger farm. I will check Anaku. Its not easy running a farm if u dont have a
car or bike. Movement is key.

I am negotiating some piece of land around Ogwashi junction after Asaba for farm purpose. goes for 600k per acre. lets join forces together to procure cheaper. 1 acre is 4plots of 100ft x 100ft. (08033135908)

Health / Re: Male Infertility!!! Share Your Experience/success Story. by mchuxx(m): 10:25am On Nov 24, 2013
Infertility in men may be caused by a lot of issues which I am not going to start discussing since I am not a medical practicioner.
However, the following helps a lot in boosting sperm count and motility:
1. Avoid stress
2. Eat good food and vegetables
3. Take zinc supplement (very important)
4. Wear cool and comfy briefs, take cool showers
5. Have sex less often (it incrases semen volume)
6. Plan sex wit ur wife at ovulation after atleast 5days of abstinence so ur sperm volume and quality is improved

blink182: Ok, thanks for the information. Makes a lot of sense.

You may not likely get it if your proposal includes building a house. your chances are higher if you will rent instead for now. first tranche amount is not fixed at 10%, they evaluate and decide on the percentage. its no longer 4 tranches but 3 tranches. I know what am talking about, partner was an awardee for immediate past edition.
