I think four days after writing the test, and no, I didn't finish all the questions..just did the ones I could..

Studied computer engineering and I've been worried, this zenith bank job is not going to be anywhere near being IT inclined, don't know if I would be doing my career any good by accepting this if it comes up.. Heard it's most likely a bank teller job.

If I understand you correctly, you are finding it difficult to choose between a job that offers good pay, lots of opportunities, and the chance to travel the world and meet new people, and a job that offers security but keeps you grounded. That isn't so hard, is it?

I have never found government jobs to be fascinating. If anything, I find them to be unadventurous and monotonous as you are going to keep doing the same thing until you've had enough. I find government jobs to be routine, and nothing bores faster than routine. But this is just me. You said you have always wanted to be a lecturer, and I feel that if it's your dream, you wouldn't find it boring.

However, a multinational job isn't such a bad thing. If it is job security you are worried about, I believe there are ways to ensure job security. Further your education, gather additional skills relevant to your work, and turn yourself into an asset; it is difficult for multinationals to lay off workers who have become assets rather than liabilities. Some multinationals will even pay for you to further your education and gain additional skills.

Government jobs might be secure; steady pay and all; but that's all you get from it. There's hardly anyone who cares if you're improving yourself or not. If there's a common characteristic among government workers, it's that some of them, if not most, are unenthusiastic about anything. As long as they're getting steady pay, they're fine. And I feel that's a boring environment to want to grow in.

But with multinationals come competition; everyone wants to be better at something. And there's no better motivation like competition; it gets you on your feet and compels you to give your all. And you will be recognized for doing so. There is also exposure and the opportunity to explore the world. And that's a great combination, don't you think?

If I were in your shoes, I'd pick the opportunity to work in a vibrant environment, improve myself, and gain exposure over anything else. Because let's be honest, that combination is what gets you places. Being grounded just keeps you in one place. And I'm not so sure I'd like to remain in one place because the pay is steady. That would be boring.

But this is just me. At the end of the day, you have to follow whatever it is you believe in, even if other people do not agree.

Yes I did and the date and time was stated , let me guess, you were told you would be informed of the date and time later?... That's why I say it is most likely in batches. Try and call one of those numbers too.

Ah no no, my guess is the interview is in batches... I wrote the test the same day with a friend and her interview is slated for Thursday, a day before mine.. Don't loose hope yet, and it is indeed well brother

So this evening I got a text from people plus inviting me for an interview at zenith bank's head office. Who got same? Guess everybody that wrote the test got same .

Ahhh that lady? After scaling through the first page it brought up a page where we were asked to type in out residential address, unknowing to me I was supposed to skip that page and just click the 'start test' button so I tried typing into the input box my address, only for me to hear her scream from behind 'hey did I ask you to type in anything there?' I turned to her and honestly I wished I could tell her Wha was on my mind, but I just controlled myself and smiled, and thought to myself that it's not really her fault, Na lack of employment for Nigeria cause am. Told a friend I met there and she said she was probably like that because of the fact that she's pregnant..

Do those ones care about your credentials? They want to enslave, so they careless about our credentials... The lady who conducted the test for us last Friday was damn cold hearted, the way she said they'd be paying 75k was like, 'hey bunch of crass as.ses we are doing you ungrateful lots a favour and would pay you 75k on a two years contract, most likely as teller officers , do you still wanna continue with the test? '

For the first time am not scared of saying the truth. Have been a contract staff with gtbank for close to10 solid years. At inception I had a projection of 5 yrs. But circumstances after graduating has left me stranded. I often wonder why I keep kitting up to the office, maybe for my 2 kids and too little savings. how do I fend for them and myself if I quit.Still searching thou. With a determined mind not to give up on life,not to steal, not to pilfer I will make my own money no matter how long it takes. peeps pray for me I really need it.

You would have a better paying job soon by God's grace sir, emm... Sir would you advice someone who just bagged his first degree like me to consider taking a contract staff job in a bank now or rather still be on the look out for a job that soothes my field(computer engineering)..your advice is urgently needed sir.

And mrs teller job just so you know , I am an IT personnel and I'm yet to which bank don't need the status quo, so you gag on your teller job while I hopefully wait for them to employ me as an IT personnel.. Tsk tsk

I hope I'm not alone, mine is slated for 20th, Friday... And please peeps going for the test tomorrow, please do fill us in on the test after the whole ish, for the sake of us taking the test on Friday. Wish you guys best of God
