There is no need blaming GEJ for the state of the road. The rot with the road didnt begin overnight. A govet was in place prior to his (GEJ'S) ascension to the presidency. Like i said, this thread and many more there is, is to show our govt what the true state of things are. |
Its like asking if its better to use an okirika stuff to a real and original one. The difference is clear. You definitely need no soothe sayer to give answers to this. |

He has the "all seeing eyes" behind him. So, there's just nothing he cant get for his birthday. |
lukkie:That's my point in full dot. |
The best i can do is ask for people to post pictures and make salient comments. The best we all can do lies within each and everyone of us. If our collective "best" are put together in perspective, the government we see and do something. That is my stand point. |
You have a fair point there, but that doesn't mean we should keep mute about these situations and act like they don't concern us or that, nothing good can come out of acts like this. The only way evil can triumph in a society is when good people do nothing about it. We need to go beyond propaganda and start off a course for justice. We can't continue like this! |
If you read through my very first post keenly, then asking the question you gave deserves a rhetoric. This is nothing personal. It bothers us all. Even if you dont ply that route, there is no saying you don't have a relation who frequents the road. Hence, what i seek to achieve by this thread is to ask every Nairalander (certainly not everyone will respond nor have answers to my challenge) who has pictures of the road to post here. And even if you do not have at the moment, whenever u pass through the road, it takes nothing from you to get a picture of the devastation that road has become. Thus, showing the govt the state of the road is a collective task of all concerned citizens.More pictures.

Kobojunkie:Is this a question? |
Why are u guys behaving like Madridistas with the way you rant and grind over each other? Pls, this sudden behaviour is unbecoming of a true cule. We are a class act, and that is what we stand for. |

The state of the Nigerian polity is best explained by way of drawing close attention to the challenges faced by its citizens. Nigeria is doomed, I must confess. And as sad as it is, the solution to the many problems is very simple and affordable; if only everyone can stop being 'greedy' and live for the common good. I travelled to port-Harcourt yesterday to make a product delivery. Despite that, the product is clean and not contra-banned, one still had to 'settle' policemen and mopol. Imagine the no of check points from Lagos to pH and how many policemen that "robbed" one off 50 naira and 100 naira. The guess u make is as good as mine. Aside the police ppl, the roads are deplorable. So bad! And u might ask, why do u have to settle wen u goods are clean? But then, who wants to be delayed? Imagine a police officer asking for custom duty? That is silly! However the reason for this thread is just so we make comments, share pictorial experiences of the highways in Nigeria. God, those roads are death traps. No wonder, costs of transportation increases all the time inspite of a constant price of petrol over the last 2 yrs or so. And pls, enuf of this "God help us" crap. Only weaklings and unseriius ppl settle for such expressions. Its our fight and not God's. God does not promote corruption. We shouldn't make mockery of God. Its a known fact, most of our leaders don't use the roads. They go by flight. As such, given the wide popularity of Nairaland it is my belief that they can easily come across whatever feelings we air out here. Now, your contributions. |
There is no way this is Craig David. The mofo in the picture looks like one aba trader. Hahahaha |
Elaineh:Yeah, the number is mine. Call and I'll direct u to him. He sews both male and female. Btw, do u stay in Lagos? The tailor stays arnd ketu while. |
I'm interested. |
Funny thread. |
Like someone has pointed out, its good you point out in clear terms what it is u want. Are u a designer with a fashion label, and looking for tailors to employ or u just want a reliable tailor u can always call for ur tailoring services? Whichever category u fall under, there are tailors to suit ur need. I run a clothing line that deals with corporate african wears, western (office shirts), suits and boxers. All we produce are ready made. Call me, 07033801718 |
Big ups bro. Dont relent, and always keep up the repping. |
Ok. |
