The thing looks like a furniture warehouse.
There is ZERO harmony in the selection. And even though these things cost a fortune, interior design goes beyond just gathering expensive furniture in close proximity.
The floor tiles are great, wall paint is nice, but everything else? No. The rooms look cluttered and overdecorated. Borderline claustrophobic.
The living room sofas look horrendous. I didn't know gold-plated chairs with baroque embellishments were still used in 2020. I swear to God, I did not.

Art deco would have actually done this house justice. But hey, his money his choice.

To those who are asking why Nairaland doesn't do video, here's a very simple explanation.

Video is heavy both ways...

Adding video to Nairaland would drastically increase the infrastructure cost for Nairaland but would bring very little revenue.
Also a lot of Nigerians access Nairaland via their mobile phones and believe it or not, data isn't cheap (or even fast) to a lot of Nigerians so adding video means Seun loses out on people who cant afford unlimited data which would in turn limit viewship and that leads to less revenue from ads.


It's easy to should innovation/improvement or whatever you want to call it but at the end of the day, Nairaland is a business to Seun numbers rule in the world of Business.

Dude, even the light-on-data microblogging site, Twitter, now supports video-hosting.
There's really no valid excuse as to why a site that was created in 2005 (14 years ago) still can't do this.
