On very many national issues inclusive the quota system problem, even when northerners fail to defend it, certain southern elements (they know themselves) will be out in full support. One area the FG and other states have failed to pursue. Invest in youths, art, culture, sport and see a steady growth. America’s influence goes beyond politics but it’s pop-culture cannot be overlooked.

I keep hearing reports from the United States claiming that Christians are being attacked in Nigeria and that Sharia law promotes intolerance. But honestly, is Sharia even being fully practised in any state in Nigeria today? I seriously doubt it.

Those who understand Sharia know that it is a system built on justice, discipline, and fairness, not oppression. In fact, if Sharia were properly implemented, we would see less corruption, more accountability, and stronger protection for lives and property.
Instead of spreading biased reports, the U.S. and other foreign voices should help Nigeria confront the real enemies — the terrorists and bandits who have no religion or conscience.

For me, Islam remains the complete way of life and the only true path to eternal success.

I think what Southerners are against the the government insisting Nigeria remains one when for many persons down South, money have no business with sharia. Any BATist responding should first react to the picture of PBAT speaking on Christian killings in 2014 as put up by the first poster.

You see why politics should be devoid of politicizing sensitive issues but speaking to solutions? You can’t easily put up a Defence without sounding an hypocrite.
