Very laudable. I just believe strongly in my heart that Nigeria will work again and become a greater force not just in Africa but the rest of the world. let's be patient these senseless killings, ethnic intolerance, social injustice and economic instabilities will pass, what we are going through is a phase. Let's pray and work for much better leaders to assume these positions of authority and not the type we are seeing now, trust me Nigeria will work. |

The family of a police outrider attached to the Office of the Vice President, the late Inspector Ali Gomina, on Saturday received a gift of a three-bedroom bungalow and a store from the Federal Government. The bungalow was built in his community, Gui, in the Abuja Municipal Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory. The community was also gifted with six blocks of classrooms. Gomina, 45, died in a motorbike accident on March 13, 2020, while leading the Vice President’s motorcade enroute the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. According to a statement on Sunday by the Special Assistant to the President on Communication Projects, Arukaino Umukoro, the presentation of the building was in fulfilment of an idea conceived when Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased and the Gui community in March 2020. The statement was titled “6 months after loss of VP’s escort rider, Gui community takes delivery of new classroom blocks.” Umukoro said the Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, Mr Ade Ipaye, presented the new house to the family of the deceased police officer. He quoted Ipaye as saying that the family of the deceased suffered a great loss when the policeman died earlier in the year. He said, “He left behind a large family. His Excellency, the Vice President was here to commiserate with them and during that occasion, the issue of a building for the family was mooted and His Excellency kept that in mind and ensured that it has become a reality. “I see that the District Head, the family, and the community are happy with this. Not only does the family have a bungalow, they also have a shop where they can do some trading activities and be able to sustain themselves. We thank God that this has come to pass. According to the statement, the six blocks of classrooms constructed for the community was based on the request of the District Head, Alhaji Alhassan Yusuf. The statement quoted Yusuf as thanking the Presidency for the gesture. He was quoted as saying, “I really appreciate our Vice President who has bailed this community out of the poverty of education. “This community is 6 kilometres away from the only secondary school in this area, located at Sauka, along the main expressway, and the road is really bad. During the rainy season, our children find it difficult to go to school at Sauka because of the bad road. “So, when we lost our son, Ali Gomina, and the Vice President came to condole with us, I raised the issue of a secondary school for our community, and a day after I made that request, the project was approved. Work started on the project barely six months ago and it has been completed already. “What is left now is for the Ministry of Education to come and supervise the operation of this school. With the number of classrooms in this school, we hope to have both junior and senior secondary classes in this school.” Source: https://punchng.com |

Governor Obaseki can't even boast of single flyover, yet he's desperately in need of second term. Edo federal allocation is five times that of Ebonyi. I'm just tired of Edo state. |
what most people don't know is that Obaseki is not contesting with Oshiomhole but rather Osagie Ize Iyamu, a core politician, a man with at least hundred voters on ground in every unit across Edo state, as at today no politician in Edo can match his political base. when people say Edo is behind Obaseki i just laugh, well i wish him the best. but please, can any Obaseki supports kindly list ten project by Obaseki, and don't include paying of salaries. |
Forgive me, please who knows where I can get this text, Exam preparatory manual for undergraduate students- pathology by Ramadas Nayak. i have gone to all the medical bookstore everywhere in my state.
|
I have been trying to source for some medical books, all by Jaypee brothers medical publishers, but none of the shops in Benin has them, please i need a reputable medical bookshop that sells their books. Please help. |
Great, more good things to come, I strongly believe Nigeria will be great again, if I tell you there won't be pains and sufferings then I'm lying. Rather than tear down my country, insult my president, post disdainful and despicable statements about my country for the world to see i just pray and focus on how I can help make things better in my own little way. I can never be part of those elements that thrive in hatred, animosity, nepotism, ethnic/religious bigotry. We have our inadequacies and we will face it. Thank you. Good to you all. |

Pdp shot themselves on the leg from moment they started using the social media to boast about how they would win the election. Again, during the election they also used the social media to cook up fictitious figures and instantly posting them subsequently raising the hopes of their supporters, some post results of their polling unit as if it translate to overall winning in that ward, even where they won especially their stronghold, APC gave them a run for their money as such the margin was very close. Don't forget Apc needed just 50% from Edo South adding to their supperior advantage from Edo north. Now let assume they won in those areas they claimed to have mentioned, apc would have also met that 50%.Because Edo north is a no go area for pdp. Just as edo central remains a pdp stronghold. Going by these or whichever way you wanna take it, apc will always emerge victorious. |
dimieprincess:Bros nor vex but stop dwelling in the illusion that PDP is taking those aforementioned LGA. well for ovia south West and North East they will share it. But for the rest APC will scrape it untill zilch is left for pdp, i am not boasting but it's the reality. As at 8pm Obaseki and Oshiomhole were still campaigning in some of the villages in Orhionmwon like Igbanke Abudu, Oza, Owa and the rest, in short pdp has no chance in all these LGA i have mentioned, Edo north is already lock down for APC that na 100% the "kukurukus" are very wise. So Bros nor be quarrel but state reality. |
Is it so difficult to place a ban on "fairly used" or "Tokunbo" cars and ensure Nigerians buy only new cars. This would save us the troubles of going through the rigors of buying and using Tokunbo cars. The beauty of these is that it will reduce the ever increasing numbers of cars in the country, again i don't see any sense in someone or a family having 3 to 5 cars. Well what do i know. |
prospero5:Pls let me correct this, Obj didn't attend the PDP meeting, he actually came for an Agriculture summit, at the behest of the federal government, which coincidentally was also the venue for that meeting. And when the pdp knew of his presence they went straight to him for the sake of pleasantries or courtesy, shortly after that OBJ went straight upstairs for the summit. |
The menace of flooding isn't perculiar to Nigeria alone, but we must collectively work to suppress those human activities on the environment that bring about environmental degradation. Except we want to continue to experience the sorry tales of woes. So i say to you all treat your environment well as you would treat a good friend, because it connects we all. Please in few days time hope some political folks won't ascribe this pictures to Edo State. |
Sometimes i laugh at the way people showcase their ignorance, the preponderance of these shameful attacks on Adams and Obaseki is unfair. I'm not a politician neither to i hold brief for any candidate. But Apc in Edo State has sth on ground to campaign with, the major road in my village are tarred the public schools are of international standard, and this is appearing across virtually all parts of Edo state. Is that not sth, but pdp can point one thing that they did in this state, so make everybody just chill and let all of us answer our papa name all these pdp e warrior are just wasting time. Pdp nor get where dem dey go. |
