Av got nothing to say concerning this topic. My problem is with all these over zealous ppl who feel dey know how to run a website. Stop complaining of fp topics. Haba. Nairaland na ur papa property? Leave oga seun to do his thing. If e pain u abeg go hug transformer. As if u contribute meaningfully sef. Oga Seun don't let these ppl dictate to you how u run ur website. If they can't stand it, they should leave. Variety they say is d spice of life. I don't av to enslave my mind to only one aspect of nairaland. From time to time, I av to read other news. Not only politics. To all those who have been complaining since yesterday about how frequently d fp is updated, pls do d needful. Go hug transformer. As if u can run anything in life. U want to spoil someone's means of livelihood. In fact I never vex finish. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Yes we are cursed. So many things swept under d carpet and yet we do nothing but rant on nairaland. D chibok girls issue has come and gone. Its business as usual. I once thought of leading a nationwide revolution dat will cleanse us of our curse, sadly if I do so and am killed, it will still be business as usual. I await the event dat will wake nigerians up. We are definitely heading to a civil war. My prayer is that let our heroes don't die in vain. We need a change in this country. And only a civil war can bring it. Yes I said so. Call me an enemy of d state, I dnt care.--MCSHOL 1 Like |

Yesterday I went to a nairabet shop to stake on some games, I met a young boy, in his early twenties or so, I had a long conversation with him, he told me his experience wit pool, lotto, card, etc. According to him he was a chronic bettor. Wat surprised me was that he advised me against gambling. It was as if he was God sent. He told me d normal experiences bettors have, d pros, d cons, match fixing agendas, deceit by bookies, d spirit of betting, and what makes bettors continue. According to him, we continue cos we lose, if u are winning always, u wud one day go to greener pastures. Losing has its psychological effect on humans. D more u lose, d more interested u become. D more u win, d less interested u become. Great men don't take betting as risks at all. Some ppl has dis belief that u use money to get money, true to an extent. What if u are losing money instead of getting money would u still continue? Even if u regain ur loses, u wud see dat it was a waste of time and energy to venture into betting. Av vowed to work for my money. When I was active in this betting of a thing, I always begged ppl for picks. I begged several ppl here. I dnt regret my actions though. I found out sometin, what makes me different from d lazy beggar on d street. No difference. I can't keep living this way. Even if its 10 naira daily dat am sure of through my sweat. Being a bettor made me lazy, non chalant to my academics. Cos I asked myself, wats d aim of goin to school if nt money. Then I concluded logically dat if its to make money, den I should start now that I have d opportunity. That's d power of greed speaking. Such an absurd logical conclusion. Av come to realize that there's dignity in labour. If bill gate, dangote, and d rest can make it without dashing bet shops money, then I also can make it. I searched d whole of nairabet for a deactivate account button, I saw nothing. Why, once u are in, it takes d grace of God to go out. Am glad that am out. I will never venture into any form of gambling. So help me God. Pardon my sermon, this is my testimony. I can't keep going backwards. I am not a fool. On this day, d 16th of november (my sister's birthday), I quit betting and all forms of gambling for good. If u see my moniker here begging for picks or even asking a question, tell oga seun to deactivate my nairaland account cos I broke my own rules. #unfollows. 8 Likes 4 Shares |

dunmorris:my strategy is a simple one but bookies can be very wicked at times. I use nairabet vfl. The teams are nigerian teams. Aba enugu abuja lagos calabar borno and kano are d stronger teams while d rest are nt dat strong. D league toppers always play wit a certain momentum at d first week. If u see a match btw two strong teams, bet over 2.5 goals. It doesn't matter whose home. If btw a strong and a weak team, bet on d strong one to win if d strong team is playing at home. If d strong team is playing away, bet on over 2.5. Cos d smaller team might use home advantage to win. All dese bets should only be in d first week. After d first week, don't bet again even if u lost. Wait for next season else alabi go use ur money pay workers salary. After first week, u go see magic wey virtual dey play. If u wan play after first week, u go lose d small wey u win. Hope this is useful to someone 2 Likes 1 Share |

eckersley:wow thank u very much bro. Na vfl sure pass o. Once u got a particular strategy, u are good to go. But sometimes, bookies can be very wicked. Once u place ur bet, they would immediately change d outcome of d game. Vfl is still da best tho. Anything virtual na free money 1 Like |

Nairaland, in its bid to attract traffic is gradually losing its relevance. Dats not how its done. Dese topics should remain in d celebrity section only. Cos dey are celebrities. U can't force me to like celebs by bringing every small tin dey do to fp. E no gel at all. Mods, no be so. *In my own opinion tho* 1 Like 1 Share |
