I have gone to my Bank to order for a Master card. I asked the customer attendant if I can get a Visa card but she said no Visa card ain't available for the now. So I requested Master card. I will be going to collect it 10 days later. EcoBank precisely.

I visited amazon for the first time and what I saw was impressive. It seems things are pretty cheaper in Amazon than aliexpress. Especially Tablets Pc and phones. But no direct shipping to Nigeria. The price there is just so cheap compare to aliexpress. Is there any way one can buy from amazon and ship to Nigeria without running at lost?

Thespecialone: gtb MasterCard can't be linked to Ecobank account and vice versa. My advise is to forget MasterCard and open an account that you will be issued with a visa card. Visa Card exchange rates are lower than that of Master Card. Just deposit money into your account, once it's credited, it's available for online purchases.

Do I need to open another Bank account? With which of the Bank? I have a verve ATM card. On the back they wrote interswitch on it. Can't I use my Ecobank verve ATM card for online payment?

This particular question is base on the Master card I will go to GTbank to order for. Normally I operate Ecobank cuz I have account there. So this master card I wil get from GTbank, are they going to link it to my Ecobank account in a way that if I make use of the GTB master card money wil be debited frm my Ecobank account? Or I will open another account wit GTB before I can have access to their master card? Cuz in one of my previous questions I asked if I will load money into dis GTb master card. Throw more light on it for me.

I think as a newbie I won't use express. It is normal I will use for the time being. 7days for normal is not too much for me after all I am about to start. I will think of express maybe somewhere from next year. But for now I will make do with Normal only

if I use Normal will I still be asked to pick up my products at the Airport or their Office? Why I asked is because I am not the one to be picking up my products I will use IBL to do the pick up to my Location outside Lagos.

The above address doesn't look like an airport address so why will my goods be in the airport and be picked up at the airport? I have some few questions to ask that seriously bother my mind as a newbie who have not even taken a step in this importation Biz. It seems there are many expenses involved to get a package down to my location which is outside Lagos. Benin city to be precise.
My questions are:

1. After buying a product from a seller in aliexpress, will I pay the seller separately before paying the shipping agent I will use to ship my product to Nigeria?

2. Will the seller charge me extra money to take my product to the shipping agent office in China to be shipped to Nigeria after paying him the cost of the product?

3. How do I pay the shipping agent I want to use to ship my product? e.g Cj Logistic. Will it be after my product arrive their office in Lagos or before?

4. Is there a limit to the number of days one should pick up a product once it arrive the shipping agent office in Lagos? E.g if I am informed that my products had arrived Nigeria and I fail to pick it up for a whole week will I be charge for keeping it for a whole week in their office in Lagos?

Those are the few questions I really need cogent answers to being a newbie.

I don't think I have made any wrong decision. If God don't want me to be a Doc then I will be a Chemical Engineer. Looking back I see no regret. If I had not done that ND programme that landed me with a distinction then I will be able to agree with your point. The two courses I am in love with are Medicne and Chemical Engineering and I have already put in for the two. And you know I will start from 200level for the chemical engineering direct entry which I know I will get without stress. 65 in my direct entry will give me the course. It is all blessing all my way.

Boss I don't think I wasted the 5yrs. If u read my story very well u saw where I wrote ''I have a good ND certificate from a well recognise school in the University of Benin Teaching Hospital with a good grade. That was 2011 to 2013. I can use that Cert to work and get a good salary. I am doing my I.T now with one of the contractor Company to UBTH that deals on installation, sales services of industrial and medical equipment. we work on some of the Dental chairs in Dental complex in UBTH. we are even re- installing one sterilising machine very close to CMD office in UBTH as at the time of posting this quote.

I don't think I regreted anything. If medicine do not work for me this time Direct Entry is there for me to study Chemical Engineering that I also love which I had also applied for. We are waiting for Uniben direct entry form to be out. So once again have I wasted my time for the 5yrs? To me the answer is emphatically No
