Hi team been reading the thread and I need some information I am a graduate of electrical engineering 2014 but with very little work experience do you advice I go ahead with my assessment on Australia engineers. Electrical engineering is on the occupational shortage list. But I don’t think I have sufficient experience to get maximum points. What do you advise?
Thanks all
How many years experience do you have? Is it up to 3yrs and is it verifiable? If yes then you can apply for 491 regional NSW as an offshore applicant.

For quick ITA, if you can get superior English score, it will be better (optional).

Hi guys
What is the fastest way I can bring my new boyfriend to Canada

I am. Canadian citizen and i just met a boy i love.
I know about the student visa, as thats the route I came with, but the problem is that it is too long for me to wait, and also it would be a waste of money as he doesnt need schooling, since he will be becoming a permanent resident soon, (i will process it for him), but the problem is that it takes one year for that to be ready. Canada is so stupidly slow,my friend has been trying to bring his wife for the past 7month not given PR yet

Im desperate to have him by my side

I just need him to be with me right away, the fastest way

Pls tell me the fastest route you have seen

Things I can do
I can get him a job here, he's a data scientist so I can runs a job for him. I have friends that are business owners and we can offer him a job letter. But they wont be able to do the LMIA process thing. Also, the shit is long

I can even offer him a job letter myself, but also,i dont have any business registered for now and that route is still long
Which country is the guy in? And which country PR is he becoming soon? If he is in Nigeria, I will suggest you come to Nigeria and marry him since you love him. Thereafter file for him. You just have to be patient.

The other route you said will take 1 year is also a good option if you can be a bit patient. 12 months isn't that long.

Just do what you can to sort it out through any of the available options.

I don't think chemical engineer is open for offshore applicants. WA Austraila too is not open for offshore only for WA graduate I think. But he can submit unsolicited EOIs in these states and hope for the best
You're right. I just checked now. It used to be one of the hot in demand occupations in the past years though. But it's like, it's losing its steam already.

EE is now the new hot cake for all engineering occupations.

However, we wait for what the new program year will have for us. There might be an update in the coming program year.

Very true. Prepaid is the best. But you will still see some persons clamouring for post paid. Some Nigerians don't like good things at all. Post paid that they will always bring bogus bills of what one doesn't use every month.

Prepaid all the way. They bring light o, they don't bring o, what you see is what you use, as simple as ABC

Truth be told.

Forget all those gra gra girls do when they're young.

If they don't get a man at their earlier ages when they're more attractive. It gets difficult. And from study and personal experiences, man was honestly not built to be alone. All of us need someone. All of us. But women are handicapped after a certain age because a rich man can buy himself a lady even if he is no longer attractive.
You are very right. This is one very aspect most don't take into consideration.

Ladies in their 20s (20-28) have more potential chance to land a man faster than when they reach or cross 30. At 30+ upward, most men will see them as baggages. And that's the time most get really desperate to want to commit and settle down. That's the time they want to force a man to commit using manipulative tactics to guilt trick any possible man on sight.

But you know, some guys will always ask the simple question, if at the age of 30+ she couldn't have any man to commit to her, then there must be a problem somewhere somehow. They will say to themselves, "I will just smash and pass." She must have wasted her youthful age and even broken some innocent men hearts.

They will just smash and move on while looking for a younger lady to marry.

So, when you tell ladies to try as much as possible to at least, get a man to commit to them during their 20s, they will always ask if that's an achievement. Most will push away possible responsible suitors during that age range. Some even go as far as playing men that are wanting something serious with them.

For any wise lady out there, maintaining a potentially committed relationship with a man in their lives shouldn't only be an achievement, but also that's something very important every wise lady should include in her bucket list. It will save them the unnecessary desperation those in their 30s+ display.

But you will be surprised that some are still playing away their times right now.

A man can wake up and marry even at the age of 50. He will find it so easy as far as he is doing pretty well financially. But that can't be the same for ladies.

They later realise their mistakes quite too late.

They should make hay while the sun shine.

Easier said than done
Don't mind them. I think most ladies that comment here on Nairaland that are always bragging they don't need a man are still very in their 20s. They only get to know they need a man in their lives when they cross 30. At that age range, desperation sets in.

Just like yesterday, huh? How time flies... I've been good. I'd think the absence is partly busy lifestyle and partly not being up-to-date with the IMMI process. There's been a lot of changes over the years, and what was applicable 5 years ago no longer applies. 60 points was sufficient back then but today that's history.

In anyway, reading your subsequent responses to Tunlex, you seem to be on the right track. It's only a matter of time, invitation rounds and changes to the migration policies. COVID-19 restrictions and border control policy changes have greatly impacted processing standards/timeline and ceilings. Hopefully, the newly elected Labour government will make some favourable changes. The main thing is to be in the pool to stand a chance of being invited should things improve for the better.

As mentioned in previous post, it's worth considering alternative pathways and destinations. It's obvious the long wait have an impact on age points.

Canada Express Entry or Provincial Nomination Programs might be easier for some here.

One could also consider taking the study route to gain more points by studying in regional Australia. You could try getting partial or fully funded scholarships.
Thanks for the highlighted.

how did you check your point, i also read chemical engineering, but with over 5 years experience as a process Engineer in food manufacturing/oil and gas firm. what are my chances please
You have no problem then if your 5yrs work experience is verifiable.

Just take your PTE test and aim superior English scores. Are you single or married? Go for 491 to boost your points.

Western Australia and New South Wales only require 3yrs experience to apply for their 491.

Use this to calculate your points: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help-support/tools/points-calculator

Carefully answer all the questions to get your projected point scores.

No right thinking humans will support PDP and APC in Nigeria again except delu*sional mor*onic entities wh have short memory and very stu*pid. Not after the practical destruction of Nigeria and youths future.

It's pathetic to see same youths defending their killers
They will never learn brother. Ask them what has this administration done for them? They are selling away their future just for a token. How foolish can most youths be!

How long will they continue to suffer and still be smiling?

Let's do this guys. Let's not vote for the wrong person. Nigeria is blessed with loads of natural resources but still remain one of the capital cities of poverty of the world.

We can't continue to use sentiments to always vote wrong people into power. We are all tired of suffering. We need a man that will take Nigeria from this agony to a better Nigeria. Let's do this guys.

Let's stop fooling ourselves before those that claim to be ruling us. Nigeria has remained stagnated for too long to experience the basic necessities of a thriving society. We are tired. We need a good leader for the future of our born and unborn kids.

Any youth reading this, ask yourself, what will you gain to vote the wrong person again into power and still continue suffering for the next 8 yrs?

We all know the right thing to do. Let's vote Peter Obi for the sake of our future.

Great you have good plans to get those points.
Depends on their requirements, if you don't meet them, you won't be getting a pre-invite.
Anyways, the new financial year is upon us! Things may change.
We just hope so. Things might get better with the requirements. If not, I have no other option than to use school route and opt in for a masters degree.

Do you already have 20 points in English test?
And you added 10 points for partner qualification. Has your partners gotten a positive assesment and have minimum competent English?
I am single. It's the calculator I used. Single status 10 points.

I have not taken the PTE test, but superior score is my target. I have put everything in place to smash it. That won't be an issue for me at all.

My main issue now is the minimum work experience needed. As it stands now, WA and NSW are the only two states that are lenient with offshore applicants with their requirements. 3 yrs ago, just by having superior English alone, NSW do invite.

So, I am still thinking how I am going to handle that minimum work experience of 3yrs they later introduced.

Don't know if I should just put in my expression of interest if I am able to secure the superior English score and not allow the work experience to deter me.

What do you advised I do?
