What would you want govs from Orlu zone to do in Orlu to force development in Orlu area? Uproot the govt institutions from Owerri to Orlu?
Owerri people fought Udenwa and Okorocha hands down each time any of these former govs from Orlu zone talked about locating IMSU in Orlu zone.

Do you want govs from Orlu zone to duplicate for Orlu zone some of the govt institutions cornered for Owerri area by Owerri people before govs started to emerge from Orlu zone in 1999?
If Owerri had been considerate enough to leave at least, one tertiary education institution in Orlu zone, the story would be different from today's.

The calibre of people that man assembled to work with him makes me want to cry anytime I remember the Supreme Court charade. I wonder how someone can look at the progress made towards boosting the IGR, paying full salaries, paying pensions, signing the counterparts funding towards construction of roads, Iron Gate which has made Douglas road safer, his numerous economic programmes etc. And still says that wasn't a good step in the right direction. It's really heartbreaking...

Waltersmith Petroman Oil Limited has sought the support of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation to ensure access to constant feedstock for its refinery operations.
The company is building a modular refinery in the Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State. the Waltersmith Refinery project located at Ohaji/Egbema in Imo State of Nigeria is expected to start production by May 2020.

Nigeria is Africa’s largest crude producer, yet it lacks the refining capacity to meet its own fuel needs and through projects like these, the country is effectively making the move towards addressing this issue.
With this in place I believe that half of the Nigerian oil refinery problem is over. The refinery which is targeted to deliver 25,000 bpd crude and condensate refinery; designed to produce gasoline, diesel, LPG, kerosene and aviation fuel, is expected to be ready by May 2020.

Back then in Government College Owerri, before they register you for WAEC, the sports master will give you grass to cut. It's a must. Then, the son of Iwuanyanwu(one of the top politicians in IMO state then) was given his portion of grass to cut. The next day, he came with two labourers to help him cut his grass.

Just imagine ooo. What we did as normal part of our extracurricular activity during our day is what they are complaining about. As at primary 4, we were already cultivating beds and ridges for yams and vegetables. In short, if you weren't involved in farming those days, you usually looked out of place.

Gardening is still one of my favourite hobbies cos of that. Maize., spinach, peppers, yams, flowers etc are my subjects till infinity. GOD BLESS MY AGRIC/LABOUR MASTER.
