I feel really bad whenever women are referred to as the weaker sex or being inferior to men. I grew up in the midst of girls. All my siblings are girls and I've lived among women long enough to know they are not inferior to men.

This discrimination against women is even more common with black people (a sad fact). Despite this fact, the richest black person in the world is a woman(Oprah Winfrey).

This discrimination against women has made many women settle for less in life. Most of them don't make anything of themselves other than being wives and mothers. I really want people to realize that women are not inferior to men in any way.

I need as many opinions as possible. Please give reasons too.

Here we go again! This is an over flogged issue. I am all for respecting women. But we all know they are the weaker sex. God made it so and nature bears witness and evidences too. Even women will quickly tell you to treat them gently, because they are the weaker vessels. If you check on the achievements of mankind, man always lead, women follow. In the area of intelligence, i know there are more men with higher Intelligent quotient i.e. IQ than women.

Personally, the simple fact that men are more logical in nature than women who are governed more by their emotions is an indubitable evidence.

Granted. more women are joining the military and are getting more involved in male dominated careers, still there are limits to what they can and are allowed to do. THERE IS A REASON WHY LAWS THE WORLD OVER, GOES HARD ON MEN WHO MALTREAT WOMEN. EVEN WOMEN KNOW IN THEIR HEART OF HEARTS A MAN IS SUPERIOR TO THEM.
