That is not true Mallam Danjuma. Almost every one of you retired Generals stole billions of dollars from Nigeria. You all have oil Wells here and refineries abroad. Fine girl's undoing is that she spent lavishly on frivolities like jewelries, wrist watches and under wears. And she had no powerful cacus so she can be harrassed. Who harassed or even questioned Abacha's son when he said he can never be poor like Dangote. |

My wife is a qualified teacher with NCE and B. Ed. and more than ten years of experience. She is excellent in early childhood education and every school she has taught never wants her to go. The proprietor of one called us for thirteen minutes when he heard she had resigned. Her salary was N20,000. One of her deepest regrets is that she chose the teaching profession. She said she would have achieved much if she had put all she invested in teaching on another career path. People are leaving the miserable job in droves. If you ask any school owner, they will tell you that lack of teachers (either qualified or not) is one of their greatest challenges now. The situation of the country in recent times has made it that almost no one wants to do the job. A school owner was lamenting early this year that one of her staff quitted to pick a 7am to 7pm factory job. |

This is easily prpredictable, we don't need a prophet to see this. The type of alignment and realignment that formed APC and eventually brought them to power will have to both PDP and LP. There is already sufficient internal wrangling that will seek to destroy both parties while there will be a realignment by some of the players to build a new and stronger party that can wrest power from the current ruling party. They will seek to do what APC did, the level of success they will record, if any at all, remains to be seen. |

misreal:I To believe that 13 people share your ignorance Dying in holiness and dying while preaching are different things. Not all pastors will make heaven! |
Mindlog:Can you help this family? Can you provide online consultation for them pro bono? |
They kept opening fire on each other while folding their arms for fulani herdsmen to kill their people like chicken. Unfortunate and misguided youths! |
The moment the man led the entire workforce of Nigeria to openly support Obi, I knew he has made a big mistake. Even if Obi won, it will be foolish to believe that Labour Party is the people's party just because it appears so in the UK. |
The government should ensure a regular supply of CNG so that private individuals can establish gas stations such as is done for petrol and cooking gas. We need a mass training program, probably affiliated to a renowned auto technician like Gazzuzz, Automedic etc to train our youths. Certification should be provided to prevent half-baked technicians. Also, just as people are importing phone accessories and generator parts, the importation of CNG conversion kits should be regulated (quality) and incentivized (duty free). The present problem is a great opportunity for all. As I said to someone last month, just like coal faded into oblivion as a source of energy, fossil fuels (petrol, kerosene, diesel) are on their way out. Gas is the future though solar too could have a very little share of the market. Fellow Nigerians, how do we maximize this opportunity. So much money to be made. |
Brandiebird:You are well trained. She should offer to help but if the guy's mother refuses,it's ok. She can then pack and do dishes afterwards. I know a guy that dumped a prospective fiance because she was watching films while he was cooking. Even as a guy, if you go visit your guy and you find them doing something, you have to join them. Never be a useless human being. |
Hmmm! I now strongly believe that Imole was a very glorious boy. May our glory not wait till we die before it begins to shine. |
I was at the Ogun Investors Summit some years ago. Osinbajo, Kemi Adeosun and heads of multinationals were the speakers. The governor Amosun gave so many incentives that saw many industries signing up daily to invest in Ogun. Eleyi came and abandoned such a great idea. May someone like Dapo Abiodun never become a councillor again in Ogun. |
Babangidapikin:Legit ke? Which business man spends like that? Definitely a Yahoo boy. |
It's very likely that your manager has a higher qualification and wider range of competencies than you do. Since he joined your unit, it is your duty to impart him with the local knowledge to enable him do his role. YOU ARE NOT BETTER THAN HIM! I have seen people who are not even supervisors train senior managers that are newly promoted to their group. Though you have already created bad blood with your oga and the lady, pipe low and do your work with humility otherwise they will be frustrated out of the job or even recommended for sack. |
GYBABA:It's a private sector project. Lagos just provides land and an enabling environment such as security and infrastructure - road, electricity etc. Did you know that Dangote Refinery was to be sited at Olokola in the boundary between Ondo and Ogun States but Amosun bungled the project. Every state has it's own resources, opportunities, and competitive advantage. They can all attract investments in billions of dollars if they can put the necessary things in place. This year Anambra and Kaduna did investment summits. Nigeria would have been better than the USA but for leadership. Diverse opportunities with few natural problems. |
Festus Keyamo was supposed to be his protege but now hobnobbing with politicians. |
There's still sharing in the Deeper Life church. Everyone eats the same thing, for free, during Easter and Christmas retreats. In fact, whenever they are holding a crusade, you can join any bus for free whether or not you are a member. Most surprisingly, during Pastor Kumuyi's monthly crusades, which attracts hundreds of thousands of people, they NEVER take offering. It was strange to me and I had to ask my inviter, now wifey. She said crusades are for soul winning and not for raising funds. I was beyond shocked! |
Hmmm! Who really benefits from war? The political elites who take the decisions hide their families while ordinary people bear the brunt of their decisions. See death bonanza!!! |
Nonsense! There scould have been thousands of small scale impoters that would have contributed more to the economy. We had to shut down our cat fish farm worth millions of Naira as DHL was billing us N5,000 per Kg to export to Europe, our target market, despite great demand. Nigeria wants to make more money from export duty and siphon it rather than give its citizens the avenue to make wealth for themselves. |
The fact that you rejected some petty bribes does not mean that you have never accepted any. Everyone knows that corruption is the fourth arm of government in Nigeria, a saint will never progress in the civil service. More importantly, nowhere did he say he has never accepted a bribe in his career. |
I thought Dangote was above the law! It seems the FG is now warming up to the task of acting in the interest of Nigerians. |
After calling her olosho in an article her unborn descendants will get to read! |
