Quite a lot. With potential for more

Plus at the time the UK also bought our agricultural and solid minerals more. Oil was just a top up. Even if we did not have oil the Brits would have still found it hard to let go
I have to finally agree with you on this one

The final truth be say.... Person wey know you, na him go do you pass.
Our so called brothers in power, those people are worst than demons; and if we think killing them and bringing a new generation of leaders will change us, then we're digging deeper into the trap that will consume us

Actually the British discovered oil before independence. In 1956 .
How much of it was explored?

WHAT ABOUT THE TRILLIONS THE BRITISH STOLE FROM 1897 TO 1960?

WHY WAS NIGERIA STILL AN ''UNDERDEVELOPED COUNTRY'' WITH NO POWER STATIONS, UNIVERSITIES, OR EXPRESSWAYS, AND AN ILLITERACY RATE OF 95% IN 1960 AT INDEPENDENCE, AFTER 70 YEARS OF UNINTERRUPTED BRITISH RULE?

WHAT DID THE BRITISH DO WITH THE TRILLIONS THEY MADE FROM EXPORTING OUR NATURAL RESOURCES?

WHO ARE THEY TO TALK ABOUT NIGERIAN CORRUPTION WHEN THEY ARE THE ORIGINAL THIEVES AND LOOTERS WHO HAVE STILL NOT RETURNED A PENNY THEY STOLE?
Oga this is our problem. The British never stole from us, they only signed treaties with our myopic rulers at that time who didn't know the value of what they had.
Mind you if they had fully discovered and explored oil before independence, they wouldn't have let us go. Since then, what have we done with our oil?

SportsRe: Tiki Taka Is Dead by McTominay(m): 8:49am On Nov 24, 2020
fykes:
The whole idea of possession football is to avoid being in a position to make such tackles especially closer to your own third. Thats why tiki taka also involves having ur attacking players apply the press when they without possession and win the ball back up high the pitch to start another attack.
That system needs no hardman or midfield destroyer as he has no such work to do. It rather needs a carrick-esque distributor or regista a role that rodri and busquets typifies
It may not need the midfield destroyers in Spain, but certainly in England. Guardiolas best seasons were when Fernandinho was on top of his game.
Man City usually occupies the wings and channels, that is why they need destroyers in the middle to stop the few attacks coming their way.
SportsRe: Chelsea's Stats Across All Competitions Prove Spending Spree Is Finally Paying O by McTominay(m): 8:39am On Nov 24, 2020
Chelsea on play well against teams that don't attack and teams who are set up narrowly.
When they come up against teams that attack and stretch the length of the pitch, Chelsea go in defense and are confused. Check against Southampton, Man Utd, Liverpool...
My point is Chelsea are playing well at the moment, but will face difficulty winning against which are set up to expose gaps and attacking teams e.g Man City, Tottenham, Everton, Leicester.
SportsRe: Tiki Taka Is Dead by McTominay(m): 8:20am On Nov 24, 2020
Bros the tiki taka is dead. Football has moved away from a lazy no.10 and soft DM. Even Guardiola himself knows this. Rodri continues to be the weak link in man city's midfield; he can't tackle, he can only pass. Same as Busquet in Barca.
Check the last 3seasons, teams who made it to the champions league final didn't have lazy no.10. They use midfield destroyers (Goretzka, Casemiro, Fabinho).
My point is Guardiola lacks this type of midfielders.

Pele, Maradona, Ronaldinho, Pirlo, Giggs, Platini, Romario are not finished. They will play on forever.

Even if Messi was finished 10 years ago, he would still be one of the Greatest of all time.

Now Receive sense!
Messi is not totally finished, he is just no more at the peak of his powers. He is like Rooney, they can't cover ground, but they have quality.
But Barca, injury never start with una, griezmann, Alba, pjanic and senior man dembele will join that list later on.

It simply shows what real football fans have been saying, Messi is a one dimensional player... thats y Ronaldo is better... juve team of last season was worse than this present barca team... the same useless pjanic that was playing with ronaldo last season is now with messi and as useless as ever , but Ronaldo still dragged that team to serie A title with over 30 goals with players like matuidi and higuain at 35 yrs...
No doubt about that. Ronaldo is a champion who leads by inspiring others, Messi is also a champion but leads by others inspiring him.
Make them rest am abeg... Just watch and see how this new Barca team wins the game hopefully without busquet, because that one is another problem

No, the joke is on u... comparing ronaldo with a penalty merchant... someone that has scored only one goal from open play, relying on penalties to hit the score board ... I tot u guys said he is the goat , goat that is relying on other fantastic players to shine... now that is the difference between him and Ronaldo... Ronaldo can perform anywhere with any type of player ...now that the last remaining celeb ( suarez ) is gone , fowl ass is open... messi is a fantastic player but he is over rated
Bro am a Ronaldo fan, but we have to take into account that Messi is playing under a coach that doesn't see him as the main figure any longer. The guy has worked his ass off for Barcelona.
I even heard a la liga reporter on sky sports saying man City won't buy Messi cos of his age and the pandemic economy which football is in at present.

Did you see people Hawking about? If people don't hawk, people won't litter. Moreover we use open drainages while they use hidden drainages.
My point is the standard of living of the Nigerian masses is too low. Am not in support of Nigeria, I am the no.1 hater of this country but the truth is we are just to poor to maintain that standard.
I was watching keeping up with Kardashians today, and I people who were living in tents, shanties in carlifonia. The place looked like the average Nigerian towns, dirty, littered and so on. They we were interviewed, and majority said they didn't have a source of livelihood and couldn't afford rented apartment's.

Private investment. It is not like government came in and built them.

Plus you want us to build famrs and refinereis and industries and at the end of the day we sell the stuff they produce below the production price because 'NIGERIANS ARE POOR'?

Shey you can run industries and refinereis at a loss?
Bro my point is we can't continue to borrow to fix our roads, pay salaries. Our problems are before us, these cities we look up to produce their own food and use large chunk of the budget/ revenue to develop, but we import our foods and even borrow to finance the budget, leaving us with deficit to develop our towns and cities. Every state should have a state owned farm or govt should introduce policies that doesn't favour dangote alone but small scale businesses, thereby generating enough taxes.

We keep bashing ourselves for no just reason.
Do we know that if the govt works to increase the value naira to dollars slot can be achieved? Instead they keep working to devalue the naira every single day... The very first thing we need in this country is an economic revolution, increase the value of naira to dollars and watch every other thing fall in place.

So you want a Nigerian leader to go to Tokyo and replicate their railway system...and maintain it with what money and on a gdp that is far less than Japan.?

You mean well, but what you are implying will end us up with more debt or with a railway that would break down in years because no money for maintenance.(due to the fact that people want to pay cheap ticket prices).

You Want Nigeria to be like Japan? Support a government that makes Nigeria industrial like Japan. Support a government that allows the power sector to charge properly for electricity and petrol...so that there would be enough power for an active industrial sector.

You want Nigeria to be like Japan. On a gdp and tax rate far less than Japan/ ? Shey you bought Ferrari at the price of a bicycle/?
All the highrise buildings in high-rise areas where did they get the designs from?
It's high time we stopped spending billions of borrowed money on roads and payment of salaries and start building farms and refineries/ industries.

My point is why should ASUU reject the said some of money given to them by FG? They're fighting for incentives and other accrued allowances; but if I may ask, how many of these lecturers don't sell handouts? All the acceptance fees paid by students where do they go? How many departments in our schools go on field trips and excursions? How many of these lecturers can teach a period without using materials? And finally, what are the quality of graduates produced from these universities?
School for naija na proper scam!
