These are the foolish fools who may one day inherit power from the so called older generation. If we think the youths are going to do better, we are joking. The youths are more concerned with stupid things, just check for yourselfs states who have youths as leaders, either as governor's or reps, senators. NANS dey trowey gunshot when students dey strike for 9months, all SUG bodies dey house dey form forex investors, later when school resumes you will start hearing pay levy and fees. But mind you, these group of people (NANS $ SUG presidents), could have liased with ASUU to attend the meeting with the federal government. Las las, a good government would dissolve any form of associate in this country, they are all thieves and rogues. |
ASUU are not doing this for the students. It's simple analogy, they're complaining about arrears, bonuses, and research funds, they're are not complaining about poor infrastructure and human resources in these universities. When schools finally resume, they will be the ones to start selling handouts and scores. Sam Dede is a theatre arts lecturer at the University of Port Harcourt, he is no doctor or professor, but he has been involved in film making and acting for the best part of 2 decades, but the professors and doctors will sit in their offices selling books and scoring students low. |
I can't help but ask, why a private investor opens a manufacturing company and calls it "NATIONAL" ![]() The only vehicle I know from their assembly plant are the trucks Dangote uses to chase us and cause mayhem. |
Bro, check your compound, rats are leaving there. The snakes came for the rats, do the needful. Saw similar snake this morning observing a rat in front of my gate. I was clearing a bush just in front and heard the squeaking noise of the rat, lo and behold I saw the snake. |
Nigerians never ceases to amaze me. We no Sabi join the youth teams of our local leagues, all of us dey find arsenal, man utd, barcelona. Later they will come and play rubbish in the super eagles. |
mustyguy:Which useless research? 12billion that would have been put to better use in the Agricultural sector to boost food production. Which positive researchs do lecturers carry out in Nigeria? The projects of students, what do they do with those ones? I am a big follower of National geographic channel & discovery channel, those are proper research. When this funds is released, all the beneficiaries will want to travel abroad. Very useless country and useless sector (education). |
How can u compare zidane who won 3 FIFA footballer of the awards with someone who won none? You said something about iniesta playing in the Ronaldo and Messi era.... Are u well? Zidane played with and against Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Figo and the likes. Compare the defenders both players faced in their respective careers. Oga the only midfielders who can come close to zidane are Platini, Ronaldinho, Zico, Maradona. |
Ogidigan1:Wetin concern Lugard with trian wey spoil? Abeg leave white man to enjoy himself, afterall it's our legends and pacesetters who went to request for freedom from the British. Take a look at S.A, they suffered but are reaping the fruits today. They never even chased away those in control of their economy. It's a fact, before you become oga you must first serve as a servant simple. We skipped the servants part. |
Naija no go kee person. How old is this train actually? It's less than 2years old in naija, but it's a factory expired train. |
robosky02:Bro, am not against Osimhen, besides SSC Napoli are one of my best teams in serie A, but Osimhen wouldn't even match A.Milik. He won't spend more than 3 seasons in Napoli. |
robosky02:Oga respect yourself... Who is Osimhen? We're talking about an idol of the beautiful game, you dey post person wey no fit inspire naija to beat serria leone |
Another way of solving this problem is for every refinery in Nigeria, there is a power station. In Kogi state, the Ajaokuta iron and steel company has one of the biggest power plants in Nigeria. The people of Ajaokuta enjoy tremendous light ask around from those who have stayed there. Sometimes in 2012, under GEJ, Abuja drew power from Ajaokuta power lines ask around and if you've been to Abuja by road from Kogi, you will see those cables. Back to the matter, since our refineries are not functioning at the moment, why not draw power to closest communities and neighbouring states, but no, the govt keep spending billions on maintenance for refineries that don't give us nothing. IN MY SINCERE OPINION, IF THE COUNTRY CAN ENJOY 16-20HOURS OF LIGHT PER DAY, EACH CITIZEN WOULD WANT TO PAY FOR MORE. But we have deficit in bills paid because people don't enjoy more than 4-8 hours of light and serious bills are distributed to the people. |
PhiliptheArab:Boss I watched a programme sometime ago titled mege cities, it was about Las Vegas, Nevada. What they said was Las Vegas bought energy (electricity) from neighbouring states whose power generation were more than their needs or transmission. In other words, each state generates it's its own power and sell it's excess. Nigeria generates about 5000MW or so they say, and sells about 2000MW to neighbouring countries, leaving it's citizens with deficit to be reduced by fuel dealers and sellers. I can remember vividly, when I was schooling in LOKOJA, they brought in a new manager for NEPA and she was doing well. Electricity supply improved to about 16-20 hours per day. All of a sudden she was transferred and light returned to normal 8-12 hours per day. We had some guys working in NEPA and they said she was removed because of people at the top who ran petrol stations. One of my colleague while serving also said something similar, that the problem is generating power, it's transmitting it to the people. The very problem of every sector of Nigeria's wellbeing is that it is fully or partially controlled by the government, and they regulate it the way they desire. |
Magnoliaa:My dear that's true. |
DeAlphaMale:I think it's a man made lake built during construction. |
Raychee:Don't think of it that way. Although you can try the beach in Lagos, Calabar and let the waves steal you away. |
One of the best things to actually enjoy in Abuja with very little sum. Never knew National stadium was that big in landmass until I entered the place. |
The man will forever be a LEGEND! One of football's greatest just left the pitch. Never watched him play, but I know he brought joy to many. |
Happy birthday to a man I never met. Don't know if he will rule Nigeria someday, but we need business minded people like him to run the economy. Just my opinion |
ugo227:Bros am not doubting you, but which car stand fit get this number of land cruiser SUV's? Even Coscharis no this number of one particular vehicle |
