Truth is that a lot of things will prevent the North from attacking the South if the South separates from Nigeria. One of them is the fact that the North will then be powerless to attack the South.

The North will not attack the south in case of any succession. The attack would come within. The South South will demand succession from the East & West and when that happens it will be a free for all fight between the various ethnic groups in the Niger Delta.

If I may ask why do you have such profound hatred for the north? The way I see it you are afraid to confront the Yoruba’s knowing fully well that you risk onslaught from their ever representative members in nairaland. But perhaps the most compelling reason is that your memory shrinks and your post are all geared towards ethnic division. This relative fluidity of identity is one of the factors, which make the Diaspora of Post Colonialism a nation afloat.
