They tried to look at the dollar amount in 2005 compared to today. Banks have indeed suffered reduced capital because of devaluation to Naira.
That's total BS! Recapitalization is not the only measure to the issue at hand. Why cant the value of Naira appreciate against $$?
Do they consider other negative economic effects this would bring as well?

Anyway, I guess that's one of the reasons we're having huge transactions in the banking sector recently. Seems they are trying to bring in big investors who can help them shore up the capital base. Just thinking aloud.

Not really a sarcasm but the bitter truth. Married men are seen as 'responsible' in a literary sense.
Responsible because they now have responsibilities to cater for and their ways of reasoning becomes better and wider.
Truth is bitter.

CrimeRe: Judge Orders 22-week Pregnant Disabled Woman To Have Abortion by Mcy56(f): 12:09pm On Jun 23, 2019
Such a dilemma!
The lady has a brain of a child, how can a child look after another child? The mother should have done something to prevent her from getting pregnant knowing fully well that some men are just animals, no matter her state of health, they will still mount her.
The little one deserve to live but then, what of heredity? What if she gave birth to another disordered child? Really confusing.
Anyway, the deed is done already, the child should live and be given out for adoption. They only should guide against another pregnancy.

I wonder how this coy will survive the new recapitalization demand by NAICOM
Pls what's the new recapitalization expected of them? I mean the capital base now?
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f):
rebekah2011:
dividend declared by coys is subject to approval of shareholders at AGM. the shareholders have spoken loudly, they want the cash reinvested and in fact they want the coy to do rights at maybe 5 or 10 per share. there are many coys listed on the NSE that does not deserve a Kobo from any investor. if you fall into their traps na you know wetin you dey find there. I wonder how this coy will survive the new recapitalization demand by NAICOM
undecided undecided undecided
Thanks for this, guess its the first time I'm hearing that such decision can be changed, even after communicating and publishing it on NSE website.

There are some vital but often overlooked items you must see spare ones in my house, one of them is toothbrush.
There's no way I can share toothbrush with someone except he uses it without me knowing.
Its just personal to me and the way we were brought up.
