Interim dividend of 40k. Down from N1 in 2019 even though profit after tax & EPS increased. COVID 19 matters.
UBA's interim should be making some sense now. Let's see what GAZ will come up with.
E Ku Market o. smiley

from above . it can be reasonably assumed that the reduction of dividend has some kind of regulatory impetus hence would go round.
This is another good perspective to the interim div reduction. Could be what's still delaying Zee and GTB's too.
Regulatory/CBN pala.ver.......If possible, they don't want the coys to pay any interim self.

And the way I look at it, it will be more profitable to stick to an oil coy in diaspora than this one in-country. In terms of ROI

Hahaha.. Ran away with my small loot to America
You ran when you saw some pullbacks and level of inactivity. Do you think it's easy to move such stock? Reason patience is key in this type of stock.
The movers don't need me and you when they're ready. smiley

Quite a lot of trading ongoing in GTB and Zee now.......seems result is around the corner... tongue
Or should I say quite a lot of attention on Zee.......GTB performed some stunts in Aug.......hope GTB hasn't price-in the dividend already. Lol.
Caveat: Just observation.

I am just wondering, amongst the banks that submitted audited results to CBN for regulatory approval, UBA was amongst the last, how come their result is coming out before the rest?
I remember GTB and Zenith submitted way before UBA.
This surprised me too.
UBA was the last to submit among the Ugaz. Wonders of NSE. Those guys needs to wake up to their responsibilities.

Good day house is UPDC PLC and Custodian PLC good buys now?
Keep eye on custodian and be monitoring it's price movement so you can key-in at relatively low price.
Custodian is a good coy with good fundamentals.......though I don't know the extent UPDC % buy over will impact on the share price........but support has been sighted at 4.80 for quite some days now.......don't know if it will fall further or stay at car park for sometimes before moving Northwards.........not really a stock for jijoists but long termers.........my opinion. smiley

But let's punish UBA small for not given us our 20k or increase it to 25k self..
....don't we need donations to ourselves as shareholders in this pandemic too?
Hoping UBA will come down to sub-N6 self grin grin grin
Why should UBA be punished if I may ask sir?
With covid effect which we already envisaged will have serious impact on coy's 2020 Q2 results, we should rather say that UBA really tried for even paying any interim div self, not to talk of them paying 3kobo less the normal interim div.
The donations to FG on covid is a form of biz in disguise if you ask me. grin
Anyway, if UBA will visit sub N6 like you said, it can't be around this time.......let's wait and see what GAZ will pay first.... before concluding on 'punishing' or not. tongue

am in the Bus already... just want to know if I can jump out n wait for pullback?
Okay. We don't know what FCMB is coming with in their Q2 result.
If you've made considerable profit you may sell and wait for pullback..........it's just my opinion but just follow your instinct anyway.

Why u come dey post H1 instead of Q3 naw? wink cheesy grin
I believe Q3 will come in good though.
Boss are you talking about UBA?
Q2 is what we're expecting and it's out with 0.17kobo proposed interim dividend.

GTB: Still standing strong......
Access Bank is distorting UBA's price mvmt....
Zenith: The zig-zag mvmt is not unusual, not new. grin

UPL: This stock is mostly for long termers. Very good dividend payout but volume is the issue, also highly illiquid.....buying/selling high volumes could be tasking.......just my opinion.

Lol. One of the reasons you don't have to relent in prayers. grin
Why NSE sometimes decide to act anyhow is what I don't understand. Why didn't they pre-inform the public?

please how is Fcmb doing with the green color today?
I wanted plugging the plug on it.... what is your advice? Thanks
FCMB's MM seems determined to keep the stock price going.....considering the type of bids at N2 region....... but why not key-in before it gets to N2?
Don't you think jumping in now is more of a risk?
I can remember that the same FCMB was highly emphasized here when it was around 1.50/1.55.
Anyway, one thing is that Mr. Market has a mind of its own......but I'll say, wait for some pullback cos it seems it's the MM that keeps pushing the price now. My ogas may have different opinion.
Maybe you should keep eye on Fidelity movement instead.......

Let's wait and see what the suspension is all about. Maybe it has to do with the coy's failure to submit financial reports for some past quarters. The coy's status has remained "MRS" until today.
Ftncocoa shellholders, don't relax yet o, make Una keep praying. grin

What is happening to FtnCocoa?
No bid, no offer, no news so far..... looks like a suspension in the trading of Ftncocoa shares.

Extract from one of the bulletins dated March 2019:
"Management of Ftncocoa has been sourcing for funds to save the coy from total collapse. The coy is glad to notify its stakeholders that some level of progress is been recorded in respect of the expected funding and there is hope that the coy will soon come out of the financial problem. The coy will keep its investors and other stakeholders posted on future developments."

So where is the news/update? huh
