TLAX:
Yes. First deadline is December 31, 2020. They have to come up with half of the capital by then and the balance by September 30, 2021.
Okay. Thanks for the info. cool

TLAX:
Possibly, investors are repositioning ahead of the planned capital raise. The CEO has guided that there will be a private placement/rights issue to meet NAICOMs deadline. Lagos State Government remains the highest shareholder.
......and Lagos State will most likely pump money into the coy.
Naicom's deadline is 2021.......don't know the month yet......but it seems it's September or something.
Guess some insiders are already positioning now. The transactions were huge these few days.

UPDC, Zenith Bank, LASACO Shares Witness Heavy Transactions
https://businesspost.ng/economy/updc-zenith-bank-lasaco-shares-witness-heavy-transactions/
LASACO has been witnessing large transactions since markdown, even today as well.
One of the cheapest insurance coy in my opinion. Near future should rightly place the fair price.

** Just Mcy's opinion. I may be very wrong. DD applies.

I think Access is responding to a fantastic HY result. They almost made #100B (#96B higher) in earnings despite the virus against HY 2019. Much higher than GT and Zenith It shouldn't be trading @7.
That's great!
Wasn't expected to perform that much but I think she disappointed quite a lot of us. grin

Very sound perspective, i know the guys at custodian they are some of the best managers around. They wouldnt have bought UPDC without a good reason. I also think UPDC will continue to operate as a stand alone for now.
You're right Sir.
I also blvd Custodian won't just go for UPDC without expertise advice.

Those two, Zee and UBA just falling hands. grin
GTB already price-in the dividend, so the mvmt didn't come as a surprise.

OBAGADAFFI:
I suspect they sited huge Assets(lands and properties) in UADC.
Could be a possibility.
You know UPDC has some assets in choice areas like VI, etc. They must have looked beyond her present state I think.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f):
Access responding to interim div.
Zee and UBA: Seems village pple are still on their case. smiley
After checking Fcmb Q2 result and the YE forecast, I think the coy looks cheap at current price to me.
So also Fidelity.......but some village pple investors are still on her case too. grin
I may be very wrong though.

**This is just observation. Not any form of buy/sell advice.

Heishere:
Custodian is a solid company especially when it comes to the efficiency of their management team including their subsidiaries. However, the purchase of UPDC shares is a bold and risky move. Too many competitors in an under-developed sector in a declining economy with pricing suitable only for those above the middle class.
I equally wondered what they saw in UPDC to have decided to buy such high stake.

However, I blvd they were well aware of UACN's struggle with the coy before selling it over, Custodian my have other plans in place.
Also, Custodian may decide to allow UPDC operate as stand-alone subsidiary, thus, avoiding similar mistake made by UACN and still continue to deliver value to her shareholders.
We wait and see anyway.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 11:35am On Sep 07, 2020
OBAGADAFFI:
Why is Custodian falling, hope UPDC purchase is not affecting them
Think it's panic selling out of fear by some investors.
The lower it fall, the better the opportunity..........though it fell with just 5kobo on Friday and it's back to the support (4.80) again.

fcmb took me from 1.68 to km 2. I never knew it would go further. But no regrets.
You don try nah. No one is certain of anything in this market.
I blv Fidelity will still deliver.
Remember when Fide was trading at circa N2/2+, fcmb was struggling at circa 1.50/1.60 then............circa N2 will get to Fide's turn again....
So I blvd. grin
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f):
Mpeace:
I don't know why I prefer fidelity to fcmb. But I did regret earlier selling my fcmb at 2.00 in to fidelity at 1.8. The recently released result seem to be a reprieve though.
Lol.
Fidelity is a tier two leader but Fcmb may take over the mantle if Fide is not careful. grin
N1.8 is a good entry around this time.
Let's see how it goes sha.

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f):
One guy mentioned Custodian here.....the stock has been getting attention at 4.80 for quite sometimes now, if you're interested you can pick Some units at that price.

It may or may not fall further, just know what you're buying into........it's also not a stock for jijoists. Don't come here and blame me either. cheesy

My opinion.

Why is ETI still dragging.....its being influenced by the elephant?
If you enter ETI at 3.90/4, hold it. It will respond in due time.
Reason it didn't respond on time was because they didn't declare any div. If others banking stocks are moving, ETI won't be left behind...........this is purely my personal opinion.

Remaining Access in tier 1 and Fidelity in tier 2.

I may be mistaken but I do not think the same condition applies, the same man owns Dangote sugar.
I think he has shown that he is able to separate different interest and entities from each other.
Okay. You're right in the case of Dang coys.
BUA project is a kind of expansion too. Like Cashdimkpa said, I expected them to source for expansion fund separately without dipping hands into the profit of already existing one, highest they take some funds from reserve......that's my opinion anyway, I may be wrong too.

Dangote refinery is different from Dangote cement, right?
Yes......but a project from same coy owner.
Refinery is an ongoing project from Dangote. Dangcem an established coy already.
Just trying to tell you that it wouldn't affect each other.......in the case of BUA too.

From an dividend hunter's point of view, is BUA plan to build a mega factory favorable as they may not be able to pay dividends within the period of the project.
Did Dangote's refinery affects dividend payout? Just asking ni o, I'm not anywhere near an expert. smiley
