kayuscares4u: I have 2 brokerage account, but I don't know that I have to inform the new broker of my existing CHN number. Pls what can I do now? Did you open the two accounts with same name - i.e. same surname, first name and middle name? Anyway, I will say since you opened two accounts with two different CHN, just Leave it for now and continue to use it as it is.......events of things will take care of it......when SEC reaches the level of merging accounts I think. Someone else may help us shed a light on the future disadvantage though. You may also ask your broker on the likely effect of this. |

Jenny008: What do you really mean by if I am chanced, I may opt to be trading for myself? will this option aid fast mandate execution?. I will fancy this considering I want to dabble into day trading.
Also, with fast trading/ease of trading as the key decision factor, which brokerage is most preferred between Morgan Capital and Greenwich Mytradebook? It means trading by yourself if you have enough chance to do it. It aids faster execution, you can buy and sell by yourself. Morgan is faster and preferable brokerage firm when it comes to this. |

megawealth01: You weren't authoritative in your assertion... Sometimes you aren't too sure... You only come forward whenever the tide is NORTH Think it's better to play safe when recommending stocks by not being assertive. There's a saying that Mr. Market has a mind of its own and does its things. When they give recommendations, market might not respond immediately. Sometimes prices may even fall before moving northwards at its own time. Quite a lot of scenario like this. People jumps in immediately they make a call but becomes disappointed when the price refuse to move immediately. Name calling, insult or fight may then follow. .........reason why caveat is always adviced. This is how I view it sha. |

Jenny008: Can I have 2 stock brokerage account without transferring my existing shares from my current stockbroker account? And if this is possible, can anyone recommend a broker best suitable in handling day trading with low commissions/fees? 1. Yes. You can have 2 brokerage account. ** You must however inform the new broker that you have existing CHN number which will be used to open account for you. ** Account name for both must be the same. 2. There are few brokers with low commissions. I can only mention the ones I know .......Morgan Capital and Greenwich Mytradebook. ** If you're chanced, you may opt to be trading by yourself. |
