As for FO, people made fortune with it before finally obeying the so called law of gravity, made a lot rich and richer.

Thing is, this waiver favours Japaul any way we look at it. Japaul can still make use of the fund to launch into other related biz
Will Access sell dregers to cover for the debt in case of default? Or do they want to go into dredging biz?
Japaul's problem is management related, thats my understanding of it.

For all the negative sentiment, the price might still go up.
If you are comfortable with the stock, just do your thing your own way without looking for validation from anybody
Definitely not looking for validation, not my style.
Just looking for in-depth analysis on the final result. I also don't want us to miss out should something good be coming from that angle. That's just it.
Only that Jegede is playing by the rules, if it were to be coyboys like Otedola, they would have manipulated this price so much, to at least N5, even if it will obey the law of gravity later later. grin

Nsempas are correct.

Note 11.3 of the financial statements gives enough information for analysis./i]
Its you that's commenting based on their financials now, Nsempas are busy making sentimental comments off record......thats one of my bone of contention.
If we'd analyze this result based on their 2019 FYE, we would have been well informed and guided more than this.

Una still dey on top this JAPAULOIL matter?
Jegede surely have JuJu wey im dey use. He don weather all sort of storm. Always in the news for one thing or the other. grin
Make Una chill, na Naija we dey. You said more than this during diamond time.
Don't know why you didn't see the positive aspect of this issue......but never worry yourself, worst scenario, JP will go back to 20kobo.....at least that's what you all wanted.
Since those that bought at N14 didn't die, those who bought at 30kobo will surely be alive too if it goes back to 20kobo. tongue

I want to assume this is net of debits and credits.

Credit is coming from debts forgivenes by the bank(Access) which was previously accrued for by JP.
Debit is coming from assets lease out by JP which client defaulted in payments.

Agregate makes net credit. Which JP recognised as other income.
Thanks.
Still needed more detailed breakdown especially in the lease aspect.

Please, what will I need to do if I place an order and it was partially filled, less than 5% of the order at my limit price before the market closed.
As I can still see it in my BUY ORDERS, can I adjust the price if the market opens lower?
grin
System will automatically cancel the remaining quantities.
You have to place a fresh order in the next trading day at your desired price.

Jegede should release N1.00 special dividend first to appease shareholders after years of no dividend...not asking for too much grin
You know, what I read here earlier was that they sold off assets to pay diamond debt, whereas diamond/access debt was a waiver.
You see what I was saying about sentiment? Nsempas are not even ready to look at what the financial book was saying at all. This doesn't look good enough.
I mentioned it sometimes ago that analysis of audited financial books have long been replaced with mere speculations, assumptions and sentiments here.

Madam, the information you are seeking is closely guarded. No one will know until it becomes public knowledge.
You're right.
Reason we needed to assume there's more to an unusual situation or rally when we noticed one.

NEIMETH is a special case.(see my last post quoting urs)

Selah
Oga OGG you're right.
You seems not to see my point here.
GSK and M &B rallied......but I was saying same thing, that there's more to that of Neimeth which makes it special.

This japaul will be responsible for many death on the nse.
If people don't die when NB, Oando, Guinness, FO, First bank, GTB, Zenith, stanbic, fcmb, Unilever, PZ, etc fell from skyscraper, then Japaul shouldn't and wouldn't be responsible for any death.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 12:12pm On Jun 08, 2020
No matter how one tries to explain, some people will be b.l.i.n.d to constructive arguments.
I've always argue some stocks here, don't know why someone will keep thinking I'm posting cos of JP alone. smiley

RabbiDoracle:
Yes, I agree with you they air their opinion. But airing your opinion can't cause stock.

People have aired their opinions and we are waiting to see Zenith fall to 5. Did Zenith fall to N5?
Sir, the point I'm making is that there could be more to an unusual rally than just assumptions and it's not about Japaul alone.
Jaiz rallied from 40kobo to current price.
Dangflour was rallying despite poor result released then..... .by the time we knew what was behind it, the door was locked, full bids for many days.
We can do better by doing more findings rather than mere sentiments when unusual occurs.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 11:58am On Jun 08, 2020
Oga RabbiDoracle it's not only about JP.
Of course, I always take responsibility for my actions.......but we should still know that people just air their sentimental opinions here without backing it up with any reasonable facts or figures.
Again, this is not about Japaul only, but about other stocks as well.
Sir, the question is:
Why did covid not help Meyer?
Why has it not helped GSK to over N10 despite that they even declared 55kobo dividend? Why is M &B still struggling to get to 3.50?
The point I'm trying to make is that there could be more to the rally than meets the eyes.

There is nothing in my view driving Neimeth. I posted the latest figure released by the company sometimes last week. Q2 results of the company.
Yes. I read your comments.
...but me I came across an info sometimes ago about one of the big pharma acquiring the coy, only not sure of how true this is.
I mentioned this so as to drive my point home that, we can do better to know what's behind a stock's sudden behaviour rather than just dwelling on fundamentals alone.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 11:37am On Jun 08, 2020
I hope this forum is not fast losing out on value to sentiments in terms of quality information.
No wonder we are losing the gurus.....because if they research and come out with their findings self, we are ready to attack them.
In the past people would have been curious about what is happening in JP and Neimeth.....and would have commenced research so that members can benefit should there be goodies brewing.

Till now, no one can tell us what is driving Neimeth....it's only prediction comes true.

Anyway, I rest my case. grin

OBAGADAFFI:
Is it not about negative sentiment.
JAPAULOIL is not a stable company.
Not disputing that.
We should however try to know the rationale behind the profit declared instead.
We should seek for more info on what's happening, what informs the sudden profitability status, is anything brewing in terms of acquisition, sell off, etc.
It will help us much better than just bad-mouthing a stock.
Diamond was not a far fetched example. Dangflour too.

Prof has been wrong on few occasions.....on Nestle, caverton and dangsugar, so he needs to convince me on JP now.
I know there's negative sentiment towards JAPAULOIL in this forum so it's not that new.
The same BUA they said will trade below 10 or thereabout upon listing is still standing strong over N30 till now.
End will justify the means, we're watching.

Thanks madam, I am anticipating price to reach #23 then I buy.
Sorry to ask, where were you when it was selling for 16/17/18? Or you took profit already and planning to re-enter?
Anyway, don't be too hasty to jump in, can't really say that 23 junction is good or not, you watch the trend and price movement first, together with economic events.
