Sighted result for good or bad?
Why I guess breakout, the stock touched #10 yesterday but the buyer at sub #9 is not yet done.
It may also be a two side of a coin.
Could be either way......but don't you think it will be dumping instead if the result is bad?
Some of the transactions were not on the floor.
Anyway, fingers crossed. grin

FCMB still looks cheap to me at 1.50.
If the result is good like that of fidelity, it will close the gap btw them. I got small units at 1.43 during the panic.
About to go below 1.50 again, wouldn't be bad to pick some units below 1.50 for those interested..... that's if it goes below.

NB: Just my opinion and observation.

If that crossings last longer than expected, buyers go park for #8 cos of fear.

But I think it gonna break out soon
Buyers already queued at N9 and below, it may or may not get there.
Those buying since yesterday may have sighted the result.

However, after the disposal of that venture, as at Q3 they had posted PAT of N20.5bn from continuing operations. Most importantly they posted another Profit after tax from discontinued operations of N99.5bn, which i think they will either use for Share buy back or pay as special dividend. Just my opinion though.
Greetings house!
Greetings B-or-SitL,
Thanks for this comment, the special dividend will be very good and highly welcome. grin

So I am reading a thread on Twitter, this whole COVID-19 is an attack by China on US.
I strongly believe... And China would pay! The world should force China to release the antidote.
......and European countries.
Some people discovered this long before now..... unfortunately, the attack extends beyond their targets.

hello all, please what type of stock can I buy with about 10000 naira? I have a stock broking acct with that amount lying fallow there. help a novice please.
This is small amount, maybe you should pick penny stock with it.
Sterling @ below 1.10. Would have been good if you'd pick at N1 or below.
JAIZBANK @ btw 41 - 44kobo
Wema below 50kobo
FCMB @1.50 or below 1.50k

You may also go for medium to big cap stocks, only that the qty will be very small but the aim is price appreciation anyway.
Mendes911 will say, 10% is 10% irrespective of the stock, whether penny or big cap. smiley

Caveat: This is purely my opinion.

Oga onifa is the Messiah of Nsempa.
Useful information he passes here is not in the public domain.
Good to see that some Nsempas are seeing what someone else saw and said few years ago.
Somebody called me an a.s.s.lic.ker when i was angry and replying those insulting him and Agba few times like that, my aim then was to make sure we didn't chase useful people away from this forum cos they don't need us to make any decision concerning their investments, we are the ones that needed them.
I hope we learn to give the bosses their respect and look away from some comments that we think are not personally comfortable with us, so we can gain a lot from them.

We can not use today price to judge any company. It is not fair. However, I dont like this company again despite my stake their.
Management of information seems poor. There could be some underline problems. Where is their 2019 year end report? Moreso no comments to stake holders. This is awry huh
They mentioned 30th March for their board meeting to approve the financial report nah.

Think people were somehow uncomfortable when it was newly raised to 10% self, not to now talk of more than, by now most, if not all the stocks will be trading at 20k nominal value. grin

shocked
Why is NSE restricted to only 10% gain?
That's the rule and I think it's much okay.
Think it was even 5% sometimes like that.
If it's more than 10%, it will favour the rise but the fall will be terrible.
Can't imagine a stock fall with 42% a day, na tsunami be that. grin

Green professional false hope. grin
It's well.
Lets just continue to pray for God's intervention. If it comes quickly, it wouldn't be false hope again. That's my own believe.

BTW, I think people should continue to pencil down the stocks that will lead the race once everything is sorted, cos at any small respite in sight, they leap forward quickly ......... grin

This market is weird, just like weird things happening all over.
Maybe the price fall halted cos the stocks have been over-beaten by events around the world already.
I just pray this pandemic is contained soonest by God's mercy.
