currentprice:I hope you're not high on 33 sir. ![]() How can you link marlian's posts to 333? Where is the similarity? ![]() |
PETERiCHY:Don't believe all you hear or read in media, what is happening is beyond our knowledge, that's what I know. |

Seems those offers are audio true true. I checked when offers are merged now, at day's low should give us nothing less than 100M units but I saw only 855,820k, less than a million. Humans trading with spirits ? ![]() |
locodemy:Yes Loco. In the midst of all these opportunities will be coming up. That's why there's the need to restragize and move with the trend. Last week/last two weeks, few people still made money despite the heightened fear of Covid19. I will only advice the newbies to hold their cash or take it to MMF (money market fund) for now. Lots of unusual things are happening in the market. |
Agbalowomeri:As from when sir? |
It's not end of the world yet, make those creating fear relax biko. My only take is for individuals to have a plan going forward cos some unseen forces are at work ......it will continue to go upandan The main thing is to be looking for fund and more fund now. Then restragize. |
Dwizeone:His banter was about Access' declared dividend. Access will be like: afterall Wetin you gain with your big dividends, na all of us dey same category now. ![]() |
rebekah2011:Well, they may have their own strategy, maybe to start buying now and keep increasing their stake as it's falling ......I don't see the falling going on perpetually. |
Some big guys are currently mopping Zenith at 16.95.... |
Uchefrancis16:* You guys should learn to ask questions before committing your funds to a course. * The choice of house you pick matters much. The fact that the staff doesn't know anything about it tells a lot. Knowledge about this can vary. * It doesn't take this long before CSCS acct is opened. * Concerning approaching first bank, I will suggest you approach the fund managers such as ARM instead. * I'll advice you go to govt bond or treasury bills thread to learn more and ask questions. |
robobo:My bros thanks for the question. There's no safety anywhere except in God. |
I've never seen this kind of offers in NSE before. ![]() Well, we may wake up tomorrow and another good news will surface again. The thing is, we should try and be reducing out exposure in NSE. Maybe move to much safer investments such as mutual funds, treasury bills and govt bonds. |
Hhmmm. It's well with our funds o. We should just bear it in mind that all these are planned work towards something.......someone was telling me just yesterday that the Corona Virus was a war plan and a test of how some attacks can be launched on humanity. Either you're in or out of market may not really matter eventually, some forces are at work, lets move closer to God. Also, we may have to start diversifying from this market once everything normalizes again. NSE is highly volatile and will continue to feel the heat directly at the slightest event around the globe. |
Agbalowomeri:Boss, see as the empty space he created come long like river Nile when he was able to post eventually. ![]() |
PETERiCHY:Peter don buy made in China phone... ![]() Double post, double post *2, triple post....Chai! ![]() |
emmasoft:Ok. Thks. We could also say in a simpler term that it's the following trading day after qualification date.... ![]() |
Ucap and Afriprud has been marked down today....N2.60 and N4 respectively. |
seyisanya:Nice!! We should know that rise or fall doesn't move on straight line perpetually and somewhere in the middle, bargains still surface. Market monitoring is key to traders' spotting bargains too. |
Ucap closed at 3.10 while Afriprud closed 4.70 despite the juicy dividends. Wonders shall never end in this NSE.. ......but who is their MM? The coy directors should fire them.and employ Fcmb or GTB MM instead. ![]() |
currentprice:They tried nah. Was it not N25kobo they paid last FYE. They're still integrating, it will keep going up. MM to their rescue .....it wouldn't fall that much as we may expect. My opinion. |
veecovee:We know how the system works, it could be tiring but at least fund will be preserved. |
yom2:Lol. But don't you think it's better for those who can't keep jumping up and down as well as those who have spare funds to make use of. Let's leave it for those who have the patience to wait it out. |
Wapco is getting more attention today, maybe result is around the corner. |
Did anyone see the Wapco crossings at 13.70/13.75? |
Afriprud: Qualification date is also today 6th March. Final dividend: 70kobo Payment date: 23rd March 2020 Registrar: Africa Prudential Plc. |
yom2:Which one is that? Anyway, this one can't be like that. It's going to be like the Continsure and still better pass in terms of timeframe......so I believe. Seems Pa Emma even said they MIGHT still review the offer price up. If done that will be a bonus to shareholders. |
yom2:No info yet. "Further details will be communicated to shareholders of the company in due course". |
emmanuelewumi:Sir, I think he's in the bus already, just asking if he can sell. @beke2020 Yes you can sell after markdown and you'll still collect your dividend. |
For newbies and the cap preservation gang, you can buy Lawunion if you wish to. Your capital plus some change on top is guaranteed. ![]() It's currently selling at N1.01 and the new investor is paying N1.23kobo. Try and see if you can get below N1 but up to 1.05 is not that bad too. Cardinal Stone is their registrar. Once you buy start processing you e-dividend right away. |
rebekah2011:You got it. One thing they easily forget is the fact that the dividend could be used to buy more units much later once it's paid, which translates to having more units and average cost also reduce. In addition, when some see the bargain, they still run. Peter was waiting for UACN at N7, it got there and he picked race again shifted goal post to N6 but the stock reversed at N7 ![]() |
