I have followed all points of arguments from the first page. I agree with the every right thinking individual that it bad to marry a chick at that tender age. But, the senator in question said the girl aint 13. Why not we lie low and watch those investigating to come up with their findings and stop the religion and northern bashing.

1. OBJ is alledged to have slept with his daughter-in-law. . . .nothing so far proved,the woman denied it (so right now its purely innuendo).- Yerima on the other hand confirms he married this Egyptian girl

2. Lets assume OBJ did indeed sleep with his daughter-in-law
a. There's nothing in the constitution that forbids this - Nigerian law in Abuja forbids marriage to under-18 girls.
b. OBJ has not come out to say his religion permits him to sleep his his daughter-in-law - Yerima claims his religion gives him all the right to marry this lady.

Finally lets stop all the false rationalising,because he (Yerima) comes publicly rather than 'pretend' like other senators (according to you) does not make it right .

By the way who told you Yerima doesn't have other concubines??

Are you aware he divorced his recently married teenage wife as well? This excludes his existing 3 other wives.

The question I ask is ,is his entire life meant to be spent marrying?? When will he try to make a difference in the lives of his people?

logically, your sense of thought are shallow. Obj did not public deny or accept that fact, while the stupid senator did. He(the senator) said the chick aint 13. I advice you also call a spade a spade and have vivid evidence that she is 13 before forming conclusion.

good point! So what section of the law has he broken? I guess their is a portion of the constitution that says ALLEGE is actually the fact? The fact is that we all need closure in everything we do and also believe what we want to. This senator guy said is chick aint 13 and most do not agree but somebody said it is and we believed them. He says his religion permits and the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria permit freedom in religious practices. I beg allow the man. Mr 21st century advocates, Check your street and tell me number of under ages and teenager in your street which most of you patronise.

Why are some people's brain short sighted? I B B is a criminal. He annulled june 12 election, killed many people and suck Nigeria dry as a military ruler. BUT WHO IS A SAINT? As a democratic ruler, OBJ who was his own petroleum minister and his cohorts did not only involve in chronic thievery(if there is anything like that), the elections since 2003 had many flaws, numerous murders are unsolved and worst still, we are still stagnant in almost sphere of the society.
