What really stops u from approachin a lady?
Som say they are not intimidated. Agreed.
For those who consider a lady intimidating on her first appearance, what are your reasons?
Someone jst told me I am. And I find it hard to believe, cos I really am a warm person..
Opinions pls smiley
'Intimidating' might just be another word for ugly.....especially if you're not been approached frequently.....
Just saying though....
In that context, it would surely stop me from approaching a lady.

In your case, only one way to find out.....
Put up your early morning 'waking up' pic.... grin

@Op I have the exact same problem, alot of people think am a snub and unfriendly but in my case am very shy and find it hard to look someone in the eye. I think its affecting my love life because I don't get approached by men I only get stared at alot, it's funny because almost everyday am told how pretty I am and all of that and I dress well, am not fat I even workout. I guess I send a wrong vibe. How do I change this??
You can start the change by putting up your pic in your profile.
Then we can help tell you if anything needs to be changed and what.
Besides, I can almost guarantee you'll start getting a million approaches everyday, at least online....trust randy Nairaland guys grin

RomanceRe: (now To The Guys)ways To Know How A Guy Show\ Sends Their Greenlight Tactics by MDCEO1: 6:56am On Sep 13, 2014
shumuel: Wow i knew something like this would come up, and i was planning to drop it tomorrow to balance and please the ladies, anyway here is a short list of how guyz show Green light.

1. He will be very kind to you.
2. He does things for you without questions.
3. He is kind to those around you but neglet you, now this is a type of guy that wants you to come to him.
4. He calls you to take you out and wont mind your friends tagn along.
5. He make sure there are body contacts when you are both alone.
6. He asks silly questions like; are comfortable, are you sleeping, are you ok, e.t.c. To the point you get bored with is questions, when you are at his place.
7. He get jelous when guyz talks to you, or when you are around guys or with any of your guy friend.
8. He always comes to visit you uninvited, with a gift.
9. He would once in a while wants to sleep over at your place. But this not common amoung guys so to many he will want you to come sleep over at his place.
10. He will spend uncontrolable on you, his wallet will dispence without pin code.
11. He will always talk about his Ex. how it didnt went well, giving you his sad story in past relationships, despite is kindness and how he is a good guy.
12. He would always want you around him and would always say nice things to you and about you.
Only 1, 2, 5 and maybe 12 make any sense at all.
No 3, maybe.....for some guys hoping to pull stunts from all those dating books.
The rest are absolute bollocks.

Some of them are just signs of a dull maga/mugu.....>> 4 and 10.

@No 9, Why on earth would I leave my house and go to sleep over at my babe's place, when i've got my own crib? Thats just dumb.

Final bullet->>>
Most guys dont waste time sitting around shining any friggin green light, hoping for the girl to get the message.
The ones that do, are usually on a loooong thing because by the time they get around to it, one sharper guy has made the move and claimed the prize.
Talking from experience, happened to me once back in school then.

So these days, i just go by the song "if you like somebody walk up to her n tell her you like am"......

No time to check time!

@OP, do you realize chatting with yourself is an indication of a need for psychiatric admission.
No need to do that to yourself, in the name of looking for money.
People on NL are not that easily fooled, no be today we don dey see duplicate monikers cheering themselves on a thread.
You need to be a bit more creative if you are going to do that, maybe you might then succeed in pulling wool over people's eyes.
Just my 2 cents anyway......

Cut the BS cheesy. We both know that websites that ask you to subscribe for newsletters have some sort of profit in mind. It could run the gamut from advertisement, to propaganda to marketing to data collection.

texazzpete: Spare us the sermonizing. There's absolutely no reason why people need to post their primary email addresses on your website.
You could post this as a Free download without any effort.

To be honest, your posts raise so many red flags, it's hilarious. From the way you write, to your efforts to get folks off Nairaland and into your site to provide you with their primary email addresses for you to continue correspondence in private, to the unnecessary padding of what should be a one page document into an epistle filled largely with drivel.

At this stage, I'm nearly 100% convinced there's some nefarious reason behind this...and I urge the mods to instead keep your posts under observation.

HealthRe: Doctors At Ebola Isolation Center In Lagos Say N1.9bn Promised By The FG Was Nev by MDCEO1:
Amya: I'm sure the doctors in the isolation ward are their swallowing spittles waiting for the 1.9billion that will change their life forever. I'm sure they've divided it amongst themselves even.

If the FG allocated N1.9billion to fight the scourge, does that in anyway imply the lump sum given to the doctors at the isolation unit? The people their are infected already and what they need is food and drugs to heal them which I'm sure even Lagos state can provide. But I'm sure the ministry has started sending something. Maybe smaller than they expected.

The money is therefore for the prevention of Ebola and curtailing it and that has absolutely nothing to do with the doctors at the isolation ward.

I see greed in those doctors eyes.
Madam, the degree of retardation in this post really makes me wonder if some people's IQs are not truly less than that of ancient prehistoric apes.
Where exactly in the original post did you see the doctors asking for 1.9billion naira or asking to share the N1.9bn money among themselves?

They are saying the funds from Federal Government has not arrived at the isolation centres to provide basic amenities for the patients and you are here running your mouth spewing fermented trash.

I'm sorry, i dont typically insult people online, neither do I comment frequently here, but the sheer idiocy of your post pushed me to reply even in the dead of midnight.

That is an EBOLA isolation centre for crying out loud! They are managing very ill people who are also veeery very infectious, so they need funds for both medications, standard equipment for various laboratory tests and investigations, and even basic things like power and water. I'm sure even things like bedding materials, consumables would have to be replaced often as they are being consumed (or would you like to be the one washing an ebola patient's soiled bedsheets? They have to be discarded and replaced). Did u even see or read about the American isolation centre where the US doctors were taken? They need lots of things to improve the patient's chances of survival as much as possible.

Some of these things has been provided by the Lagos state government so far, but it isnt enough to meet the standards of what a proper isolation centre for a disease with this kind of severity and virulence should have, hence they are stating that the funds FG has been mouthing about on media is yet to reach them to even provide some of these needed things.
And someone is here spewing trash about people clearing their throats to chop money.

It pains me because I happen to personally know people (doctors) who are actually working there caring for the sick patients, and there are many things that still need to be provided to provide optimal care for these patients.

Please, if you really do not know much about a topic, its better to keep quiet and be presumed to be a regular person, than to open your mouth and show yourself a re*tard.
As my lecturer in school used to say, "it is better to keep quiet and be considered a fool, than to open your mouth and CONFIRM IT".
Thanks.

BusinessRe: Business Idea For Nigerians (Virgin Ideas) by MDCEO1: 1:54pm On Jan 05, 2014
mrnestyy1985: No 2: Nigerian Escrow website

I believe by now most of us know what escrow service means.Look it up on google.

Problem

You and i know that if we have the opportunity to scam with ease we wont hesitate to grab that opportunity. I have a general law in online business which has been adopted by most white Europeans and Americans.
"Never trust a Nigerian in every aspect concerning money"
Even Goodluck Jonathan the Nigerian president could scam you if he has the opportunity. Agreed? This is because human wants/needs are not satiable.
In my own opinion, Nigerians have not been successful in online business because of the risk that is involved when you deal with Nigerian online.this can be seen in the way the european and amaerican payment service like paypal, moneybookers and the rest of them restrict their service from Nigerians. My reason?we can not trade with Nigerians using paypal because they are so brilliant that they can even claim to own the paypal merchant account and scam you the sum of 50,000 dollars with just a 100 naira air ticket bought from a local cyber cafe that has a 5th hand used outdated computer.

In order to improve trust when doing business with Nigerians online, there has to be a payment service that is able to protect Nigerian as well as the so called magas.

Solution
PayNigerians/NairaEscrow/ProtectMaga/MagaSafe (Think about a unique short domain name)

This website enables buyers and sellers to buy and sell product and services safely when dealing with Nigerians.

How it works
example: A seller abroad who supplies goods like clothing and cars contacts a Nigerian importer who is interested in importing cloths for sale in Nigeria.after must communication they buyer agrees and decides to transact with this seller who he or she doesnt know or have not met before. He remembers the ultimate online Law( Never trust any body with money online especially a Nigerian). The buyer or the seller can offer to procure a third party "YOU" that will protect them and ensure smooth secured transaction.

The both party visit your website
Register as a buyer or a Seller
states the given transaction amount or service
click proceed
the admin (YOU) accept escrow and ask the buyer to upload the money. when he upload the money and you confirm it with your bank.you contact the seller securely online to proceed with shipment and provide shipment tracking codes.when the good
s is shiped and the buyer confirms receipt.you can release the money to the seller by local bank transfer.

Happy buyer/ Happy seller that returns to your website again and again and recommends you to other prospective importer.

Other possibility

A)You could also integrate the site with freelance service.i.e people who live abroad that can send this product to you in Nigeria and recieve their payment securely through your site.

How?
A potential buyer who wants to buy something from ebay or other ecommerce site abroad but do not have the payment capability as the shipping address specified bcus most online traders do not send goods to Nigeria.
He or she goes to your site, post a frelance ad seeking for interested freelancer who can purchase the goods in your name and resend it to Nigeria for you for a fee.
interested frelancer contacts you and negotiate payment.then proceed to use the escrow service offered by your site.

B) I also see the possibility for Nigerian government using your platform to issue/award contracts to potential contractor.Money is never released until the contract is completed.this will help to reduce the problem with unfinished contracts as most contractors will strive to complete their contract because they are guaranteed a return on their investment.this can be linked to banks that issue loans to contractors as the contractors can print the pending escrow statement and use it as collateral to secure loan.

You can manipulate their solution in several way to suite your revenue potential. consult me if you need further question and if i have the time,i will gladly reply.

visit my forum for more tips
http://africanpark.com/
Interesting concept.
But I have a question that may make it difficult to implement in our own environment.
We know a lot of Nigerians have a tendency to fraud when they have an opportunity. Its unfortunate, but its true.
Now the question.
What if d buyer is a crook?
As in, What if the buyer refuses to click ''confirm''' to show that he has received the goods (maybe he's ill, or has died, or conveniently 'forgot' to come back and click 'confirm' after receiving the products, or some other wonderful story he may cook up.)? Or if he outrightly denies, saying that he has not received the goods, when infact, he has collected the goods? Or he just wants to suffer the seller and delays in clicking ''confirm'' to show he has received the goods, just to delay payment to the seller and suffer him.
What do you do in such a case?
BusinessRe: Advise On Importing Industrial Chemicals To Nigeria by MDCEO1: 7:34pm On Jan 04, 2014
^^ I'm based in Lagos.
I could help you make some enquiries about what chemicals they commonly import and use in the pharmaceutical and soap industries for starters.
Since you're in US, can you guarantee the quality of the chemicals you'll source from there?
Although, i have a feeling (quite unproven) that chemicals imported from USA might be more expensive that ones sourced from other countries, like Germany and India.
