Please I sent you an email . Please help me send a copy of the letter so I can as well tell a lecturer to help me sign . I just need the format guideline
Okay! I have replied to your pm. Since schools are on strike, the letter must not necessarily come from exam and records( since they are on strike) . You can get the letter from your HOD, a senior lecturer/ junior lecturer or Dean from your department as long as the letter has stamp and letterhead

When I chatted a professor in my department through WhatsApp ( though I’m closed to him and he knows me well), he advised me not to use his own letter since a letter from HOD has more weight his reason is Bcus He is the Head of Department but I told him it doesn’t mean that I’ll make use of his own letter since I can easily get his own letter immediately all what the school want is just an evidence that I was taught in English language. I got mine few hrs after I spoke with him

Summary of all I have said is, anyone can get his or her letter from any lecturer in your school( department) that you know well instead of traveling down to school.
Below is the screenshot of the condition requested from me

Nigerians need to call the bluff of these people, you categories us as a common wealth nations, you refer to us an anglophone country, you are fully aware that our education were delivered in English language, the official state language is English and you are asking us to write a language test?
If people don't ignore them they will keep milking you, British council is making millions from that exploitative test so they won't stop.
It was a big slap on my face and an embarrassment when London metropolitan university wrote to me that Nigeria is not recognized as English country. I felt so embarrassed attached is the screenshot as evidence

English is language that can be understood by anyone, accent does not determine your language fluency,i don't think Scottish accent is as worse as Welsh accent, yet people still cope, the IELTS wey Indians dey arrange, informatiin has it that some of Indian population that migrated to Canada were asked to resist their IELTS because they couldn't cope, passing it does not mean you good at speaking the language.
they are just money grabbing idiots.
Period
I have forsaken the school, I’ll stick to derby and I’ll patiently wait for Nottingham Trent for consideration. I stick with stirling Bcus of their installment plan but God knows better

I think it depends on the course. Mine took close to 6 months (lol). I totally forgot about it. So the course would determine the length but once they respond and give an offer, be rest assured that every other thing goes easily and fast.
Thanks so much. My course is MSc data science. I’m losing hope in them already as most schools I applied after Nottingham Trent has responded. I’m only looking at their flexibility payment

I said it here that Stirling too dey do yangan on top this exploitative English language test, People should just bone them and move on to other Universities that can make life easier for them.
Rejecting a certificate because of the age? sometimes these whites thinks we are foolish,is it not suppose to be the older the certificate the well granded your expertise?
wèrè people
I think it’s bcus of how people find it difficult to cope with Scottish English, maybe that’s the reason why most schools In Scotland make ielts compulsory. Here is the sample letter I uploaded but they rejected it Bcus it over 5 years and some months

Pls August 2016 till date is how many years? Is it not 5 years and some months ??

My experience with Sunderland is different what people have been saying here o, up until now I have not gotten any decision on my application, and the reason for it pending decision according to the portal is that my course tutor has not made a decision yet, this is over how long now that I have provided them with the documents they requested. I have even comot my mind from them jare make I face my Northumbria.
I would have suggest you go for Northumbria, Bcus both schools are 50% on or before enrollment and Northumbria ( Newcastle campus ) has edge over sunderland in terms of job prospects

Another advantage of Northumbria is no pof,no precas interview and there is no questionnaire unlike other schools… direct CAS the moment they confirm your payment

Another advantage of Northumbria is 2000 deposit while sunderland is 3500 deposit

Sunderland's process has never been cleared to me, I tried applying on their site but couldn't not until they sent a link to my mail through which I applied.

Since application, I have not been able to track it on their page, I will be getting error message like NO ACTIVE CONTAINER, going back to the link they sent to me, it has expired... I applied for Mechanical Engineering
Yeah, you’re right I also encountered this challenge while applying through my phone not until I switched to laptop and it went through without showing that foolish jargons. Try using system to continue your application. I couldn’t log in successfully when I was trying to accept the offer using phone I had to used laptop to sign in then accept my offer

If you’re a full time student and enrolling for a full academic year, you may pay your tuition fee in two instalments. You’ll need to pay a minimum of 50% of the tuition fee prior to, or upon enrolment. If you’ve paid a tuition fee deposit prior to enrolment, the amount you’ll be required to pay at enrolment will be 50% of the tuition fee due, less any deposit or further tuition fees already paid. The remaining balance of your fees will be due after approximately five months from the official start date of your course.

At enrolment you’ll be offered the opportunity to set up a Recurring Card Payment for the next instalment.

Monthly payments
You can make payments in monthly instalments starting from the date you enrol. A first instalment will be taken by credit or debit card, and then you’ll need to set up a Recurring Card Payment, where the remainder of your payments will be deducted monthly on or around the 15th of the month. We’ll deduct any deposits or further tuition fees you’ve paid in advance before we calculate your instalments.

Hi. Please, when did you apply for this course? I want to know how long it took them to get back to you, cos I applied for the same course, though recently.
When it comes to diligence and competence in terms of getting back to applicants and responding fast, I give it to sunderland. Aside from giving offer less than 72hrs, they have my respect. I uploaded a letter as evidence that my degree was taught in English yesterday being a public holiday but to my surprise, they got back to me today with conditional offer of payment. This can’t be said for derby

Please what did you submit for proof of English because they said they can’t accept waec older than 5 years .. I just tiya for them
My waec is over 15 years , I wrote it 2006 and from the offer letter, they only requested evidence that my degree was taught in English which I later uploaded a letter gotten from a professor in my department that my degree was taught in English. They accepted mine maybe you can also get a letter from your school either HOD or any Lecturer since schools are on strike. I got mine last week from a lecturer through phone call which he sent to my mail without going to OAU

Is there anyone presently a student in the university of sunderland? Or a prospective student.
I got a conditional offer from the school and it says I have to pay a tuition deposit of 3500 pounds before I can get a cas. I was on their finance website today and realized that the full tuition fee has to be paid during student enrollment.
Is this true? Because I met few people that said I am only required to pay up to 50% of the tuition during my enrollment and I can spread the remaining balance later.

One of the good thing about Stirling university apart from being fast to response , is their installmenta payment which is very unique in itself, although it's quit expensive, but it's a good school.
Yeah, you’re right boss but do you have idea if their payment plan is 50% on or before enrollment after the initial deposit of 2000? I’m aware of their installments plan but I have no idea what is their mode of payment after the deposit

Good morning boss…. Did you sleep well?

One thing I have observe is that, they first give people who meet the caterer of that course , then before giving those that nearly meet the course.
I was wondering what could have been the criteria behind this but you seems right, I got unconditional offers in MSc Mechanical Engineering without delay but the issue of data science seems different

How long did it take to get an offer?
I applied over a month ago and I am yet to get a reply
I saw a post of someone who applied same day I submitted my application, 16th of last month and she got her offer 4th of this month ( April) while I haven’t heard anything not even a conditional offer. I sent them mail and the automated mail said I have to wait for 10-14 days due to large volume of applications
