Pls do you have idea if the same cv one used applying to school will be shared with ukvi when applying for visa? A friend of mine made mistakes on date in her cv when applying to school now she is considering readjusting the date by getting a new cv for visa stage

I was shocked when he was given wrong info. Derby is 3000 pounds while half of the remaining is paid in November. Here is the evidence from their website

Once you complete the application at the end and SUBMIT, you'll receive an authentication email within 5 minutes to confirm the receipt of your application.

Yes, the school is 50% on or before enrollment and the current deposit is now 4000 pounds not more 2000

I believe they are overwhelmed. Took about 5 weeks to get my offer from derby. If you still applied for Mech eng. ATAS is a condition to be fulfilled.

I also got conditional offer from derby within one week I applied but the condition of the offer require me to upload my waec result which must be minimum of c6 and I must either accept my offer between 14 days which I replied immediately but it’s over 1 week now and I haven’t heard anything from them. I mailed the admission team yesterday but nothing yet

On your course webpage, click on "Apply"

It'll be easy to navigate from there and create your user account.

When one click apply, it will only bring login and password and it’s not the same for new applicant Bcus it has no where to create your login details

When did you accept conditional offer and when were you given Unconditional offer?

I've been expecting Unconditional offer since 3weeks ago after responding to their conditional offer but nothing yet from them.

Why is your case different? I applied early January for MSc Mechanical Engineering and I was given offer early February but due to high fee and request for ATAS certificate, I decided to reapply for computer science in March and I was given unconditional offer within 2 weeks..

I’m also going but the payment plans isn’t friendly. I got unexpected call 2days ago via phone phone call and it lasted for 10mins and I was asked why I haven’t paid my 3000 deposit, and if i like ulster, why did I choose ulster, do I have another offer from other schools? Which I answered all and she was impressed and I was asked if I have any questions which I asked them if I can get the payment plans after the deposit. Which they later send to me 8mins after the call/ conversation. To my surprise the payment for ulster isn’t nice at all

Yes I think they are doing this because of people that got to the UK and could not pay up their tuition balance at the due date. I also got a mail from Swansea University now that deposit for CAS has been increased to 4000 pounds for September intake .

Same applicable to me, they sent me a mail changing their deposit plan from 2000 to 4000

There is a pattern which the schools increased the deposit fee. This development is actually worrisome

Swansea gave me unconditional offer with 3000 discount, 2000 deposit and i was contemplating if I should go for it or not Bcus the tuition fee is expensive but to my surprise this evening, they had a changed of mind by increasing their initial deposit from 2000 pounds to 4000 pounds. I doubt if all schools won’t be strict from next year

I was thinking am alone, I am losing hope in derby and as for ulster, they are fast when it comes issuing offer or responding to mails, while Sheffield Hallam seems reasonable just exercise some patience

Let her get a letter from her Uni stating all her courses were taught in English language.The letter must be written on the school's letter head, signed and stamped

Same happened to me, I was given conditional offer MSc Mechanical Engineering but they didn’t accept my waec saying c6 is too low. They requested for ielts which I wrote to explained myself that my first degree was taught in English but still yet, they kept requesting for ielts

You do not need to:

1. Take any COVID-19 tests before you travel or after you arrive
2. Quarantine when you arrive

This applies whether you are vaccinated or not.

Go to their office. We went there today and we were informed that they have discontinued online booking.
If you can’t visit their office send them an email with your details and indicate your preferred dates.
Our booking was done seamlessly since it was physical.
