Unity FM OAP, Lukman Bello in Jos, Plateau state, has accused the military men in the state of attacking residents that were celebrating election victory in the Yan Trailer and Dutse Uku axis of the state yesterday March 23rd.

He wrote:

I think the STF of the Nigerian Army (Operation Safe Haven )operating in Jos should please watch it so they don't on their own cause crisis in Jos especially in Tina Junction, Yan Trailer and Dutse Uku axis.
Imagine: Youths in Yan Trailer were celebrating election victory yesterday blasting music and dancing in euphoria ; without infringing on any body's right, the military using their military bikes stormed the place, beat people up, wounded most of them including the ladies and destroyed the public address.

They also stormed people's shops beating traders , removing their clothes and forcing them to lock their shops. Many of the victims were rushed to the hospital. Is this security or brigandage?

In 1992 at just age 25, Captain Valentine Strasser had seized power from His former boss President Joseph Momoh and had become Sierra Leone’s Head of State making him the youngest ever in West Africa.

Strasser sat on wealth and many opportunities but he soon allowed his youthful exuberance to be his waterloo .He engaged in high level of profligacy and failed the war against rebel leader Forday Sankoh.

He grew unpopular with accusations of mismanagement and ordering the killing of many of dissenters of his regime. Majority of his soldiers defected to the rebel army after he employed the services of mercenary front Executive Outcomes.

Strasser was ousted in 1996 through a palace coup staged by his deputy Julius Maabo who assumed his position afterwards. Strasser fled to London and attempted studying law at Warwick University on scholarship. He couldn’t feed nor afford decent accommodation.

Hardship, coupled with divorce and constant harassment from a daughter of one of his victims soon forced him to abandon the school.

He was granted amnesty and returned to Sierra Leone where he’s been living with his mum and struggling so hard to make ends meet.

He laments over his joblessness and takes solace in the Palm wine bars.

A shameless Lagos teacher identified as Mr Ajayi Akintunde of Fazi-l-omar school iwaya allegedly makes a 16-year-old female student perform oral s*x on him to gain promotion.

According to the girl she said 'She got into a new sch, and her shameless maths teacher, Mr Ajayi Akintunfe took advantage of the fact she's not sound in the subject and threatened to fail her if she doesn't comply'

Suspected political thugs have disrupted the rerun election at Jato-Aka ,Tse Akough PU 012, Yaav ward, Kwande Local Government of Benue State.

A young man identified as Mr. Iorver Yough, believed to be working for the All Progressives Congress, APC, reportedly led APC thugs with Sekav Aule (Tor Geri Jato-aka) to destroy election materials.

Yough allegedly slapped the PDP agent, Micheal Iornongo, used club and machetes on him while Aule and his boys broke the ballot box and snatched the register.

Voters have fled the polling unit following the incident.

Report gathered that, although some materials were recovered, the register is missing.

Point being, generations can be influenced by the message that music stars carry. Growing up it was an abomination to touch marijuana as ajebutter kids. It was meant for touts who we were waiting to watch run mad. Then came Snoopdog's "Doggystyle" and Dre's "Chronic" in 1992, Every kid in Nigeria now needed to smoke weed to be cool. Thanks to the power of the message in the music for the young minds.

Imagine if the YBNL message had more Nigerian acts joining in on emphasizing the making of clean money, the way the womans anatomy and the mindless blowing of cash has been glorified, we would have had less panties and pads to worry about.

Now almost every family has a yahoo plus boy in it. Girls proudly say their boyfriend is a G boy, Songs say you gain nothing without buying the benz by any means neccessary, Mothers look the other way, knowing fully well how their sons make the money.

Yes, the government has failed, the churches have failed with grooming the youths, parents are failing too but these are hardly their role models so the most painful failure in shaping the mind state of a generation has come from the ones that the kids would rather listen to. The musicians. They have failed woefully. Look at the generation they are grooming. You are part of the problem.

Festus Keyamo has reacted to the allegation that he paid Charly Boy money running into 9 digits to release an Atiku diss song.

In an exclusive interview with Daily Trust, Keyamo denied the allegation, stressing that it is unimaginable that he will pay for a diss song

'

'Anybody who thinks that I would pay one naira for a song that also abuses APC, you know the song also abuses APC? It says both APC and PDP are the same. Anybody who thinks that I would pay one naira for that kind of song, the person should go and examine his head,” he said.

Recall that Charly Boy had alleged that Keyamo came to his office, heard a diss song he was working on for Atiku before the election and paid him some money for it. He admitted that the money was in “nine figures” mentioning no specific amount. Nine figures will represent any amount from 100 million (100,000,000) to nine hundred and ninety-nine million, nine hundred and ninety-nine thousand, nine hundred and ninety-nine (999,999,999)

The song, ‘Another Guy Man,’ was posted to YouTube on January 25. It has 6,693 views and 44 comments on Charly Boy’s channel.

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal office, have arrested 11 suspected internet fraudsters for offences bordering on conspiracy, possession of fraudulent documents and attempt to obtain money under false pretence.

The suspects are: Ganiyu Sherif Abiodun, Akinyele Sherif, Oluseye Soremekun, Kolawole Rasheed, Kolawole Kazeem and Ibrahim Anjorin.
Others are: Temitope Samson, Damilola Samson, Uduogwu Freeborn Eboagwu, Ojomu Gbenga and Okougbo Dervick.

They were arrested in the Lekki County Homes and Igbo-Efon areas of Lagos State, following intelligence report received by the Commission, recently.

Items recovered from the suspects at the time of arrest include seven exotic cars, 16 laptop computers and 20 phones.

They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
