If not for the Bible, Muslims cannot even tell you about the genelogy of their so called prophet Ishmeal. The quran will be an incomplete thrash without the Bible and their hadith |
Hello! Got this from gotquestion.org and I hope it helps. The Jews rejected Jesus because He failed, in their eyes, to do what they expected their Messiah to do—destroy evil and all their enemies and establish an eternal kingdom with Israel as the preeminent nation in the world. The prophecies in Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22 describe a suffering Messiah who would be persecuted and killed, but the Jews chose to focus instead on those prophecies that discuss His glorious victories, not His crucifixion. The commentaries in the Talmud, written before the onset of Christianity, clearly discuss the Messianic prophecies of Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22 and puzzle over how these would be fulfilled with the glorious setting up of the kingdom of the Messiah. After the church used these prophecies to prove the claims of Christ, the Jews took the position that the prophecies did not refer to the Messiah, but to Israel or some other person. The Jews believed that the Messiah, the prophet which Moses spoke about, would come and deliver them from Roman bondage and set up a kingdom where they would be the rulers. Two of the disciples, James and John, even asked to sit at Jesus’ right and left in His kingdom when He came into His glory. The people of Jerusalem also thought He would deliver them. They shouted praises to God for the mighty works they had seen Jesus do and called out, “Hosanna, save us,” when He rode into Jerusalem on a donkey (Matthew 21:9). They treated Him like a conquering king. Then, when He allowed Himself to be arrested, tried, and crucified on a cursed cross, the people stopped believing that He was the promised prophet. They rejected their Messiah (Matthew 27:22). Note that Paul tells the church that the spiritual blindness of Israel is a “mystery” that had not previously been revealed (Romans chapters 9–11). For thousands of years, Israel had been the one nation that looked to God while the Gentile nations generally rejected the light and chose to live in spiritual darkness. Israel and her inspired prophets revealed monotheism—one God who was personally interested in mankind’s destiny of heaven or hell, the path to salvation, the written Word with the Ten Commandments. Yet Israel rejected her prophesied Messiah, and the promises of the kingdom of heaven were postponed. A veil of spiritual blindness fell upon the eyes of the Jews, who previously were the most spiritually discerning people. As Paul explained, this hardening on the part of Israel led to the blessing of the Gentiles who would believe in Jesus and accept Him as Lord and Savior. Two thousand years after He came to the nation of Israel as their Messiah, Christ is still (for the most part) rejected by the Jews. Many Jews today (some say at least half of all living Jews) identify themselves as Jewish but prefer to remain “secular.” They identify with no particular Jewish movement and have no understanding or affiliation with any Jewish biblical roots. The concept of Messiah as expressed in the Hebrew Scriptures or Judaism’s “13 Principles of Faith” is foreign to most Jews today. But one concept is generally held as universal: Jews must have nothing to do with Jesus! Most Jews today perceive the last 2,000 years of historical Jewish persecution to be at the hands of so-called “Christians.” From the Crusades, to the Inquisition, to the pogroms in Europe, to Hitler’s Holocaust—Jews ultimately believe that they are being held responsible for the death of Jesus Christ and are being persecuted for that reason. They, therefore, reject Him today. The good news is that many Jews are turning to Christ today. The God of Israel has always been faithful to keep a “remnant” of believing Jews to Himself. In the United States alone, some estimates say that there are over 100,000 Jewish believers in Jesus, and the numbers are growing all the time. |
Your topic reads " description from the quran" and you are quoting from the hadith. When did hadith suddenly become part of the quran? Imagine what your quran will look without the hadith. TO BE CONTINUED |

The Bible describes Lucifer as “burning like a torch (or lamp)” (Revelation 8:10). This is exactly what the Qur’an describes Allah as: “a lamp.” Allah in the Qur’an dedicates chapter Al-Noor (The Light) as the most significant description of Allah: “Allah is the light of the heavens and the earth; a likeness of His light is as a niche in which is a lamp, the lamp is in a glass, (and) the glass is as it were a brightly shining star, lit from a blessed olive-tree, neither Eastern nor Western, whose oil is nigh luminous though fire scarce touched it. Light upon light! Allah does guide whom He will to His light: Allah sets forth parables for men: and knows all things” (Qur’an 24:35-36). Light of the heavens, and brightly shining star luminous, are satanic titles—“ Lucifer” literally means the luminous one. Satan desires to be the bright shining star. Even the Mahdi, the Muslim Messiah of end-times, is identified by the prophet Mohammed as the: “peacock of all angels and of the dwellers of the heavenly realm, he is dressed and adorned with the cloaks of light.” This “lightning bolt” described by Jesus also fits Mohammed: “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven” (Luke 10:18). The word Lucifer means “bearer of light,” “luminous,” or “the morning star.” The Bible warns us regarding the manner in which Satan transforms into a man (Isaiah 14, Ezekiel 28) and in Islam we find: “Thus says the great prophet (Allah’s prayers and supplications be upon him) Mahdi is the peacock of all angels and of the dwellers of the heavenly realm, he is dressed and adorned with the cloaks of light.” Lucifer disguises himself “as an angel of light” (II Corinthians 11:14). John as well describes him: “I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit” (Revelation 9:1). This “star” is referred to as a “him,” a person and not an actual star/asteroid as the prophecy hype crowds makes it to be. The Qur’an even calls Allah “The Lord of star of Sirius” The same star is described in Revelation 8:10: “Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven burning like a torch (or lamp), and it fell on the third of the rivers and on the springs of water.” The “waters”, again is allegoric of “peoples, multitudes, nations, and different tongues” which Satan spiritually destroys. (Revelation 17:15) Even Lucifer himself as he is described in the Bible “the ruby, the topaz, and the diamond; the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper; the lapis lazuli, the turquoise, and the emerald; and the gold, the workmanship of your setting and sockets was in you” (Ezekiel 28:13) also matches the Buraq: “Its color was that of a peacock whose plumage was set with red rubies and corals, on which sat a white head of musk on a neck of amber. His ears and shoulders were of pure white pearls attached with golden chains, each chain decorated with glittering jewels. His saddle was made of silk lined with silver and gold threads. His back was covered with green emerald and his halter was pure peridot.” When Muhammad, the sojourner had supposedly reached his destiny to the seventh heaven, so as he claims, he alleged to have met with the god who’d declared him prophet and ordered him to rule over all of mankind, angels and the whole multitudes of demons. |
Can't just imagine how one man who claimed to be a prophet will tell us detailed stories of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus etc. This are people who lived many many years before he was ever born. Why won't he make such mistakes. |
If the Bible was corrupted, was this before or after Muhammad? If before, why does God tell Muhammad to refer to a corrupted Scripture for guidance, and why does he say of the Torah and Gospel ‘wherein is guidance and light’ rather than ‘wherein there used to be before they were corrupted’? If after, why does the Muslim not accept the Bible, since current translations are all based upon manuscripts that predate Muhammad? |
When will Muslims realise that their gnostic eesa is not THE LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH.

Scripture never mentions any Sabbath (Saturday) gatherings by believers for fellowship or worship. However, there are clear passages that mention the first day of the week, Sunday. For instance, Acts 20:7 states that “on the first day of the week we came together to break bread.” Paul also urges the Corinthian believers, “On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income” (1 Corinthians 16:2). Since Paul designates this offering as “service” in 2 Corinthians 9:12, this collection may have been linked with the Sunday worship service of the Christian assembly. Historically, Sunday, not Saturday, was the normal meeting day for Christians in the church, and its practice dates back to the first century. Christians worship on Sundays in celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is very important to remember, though, Sunday worship is not commanded in the Bible, and Sunday has not replaced Saturday and become the Christian Sabbath. While the New Testament describes Christians gathering and worshipping on Sundays, it nowhere states that Sunday has replaced Saturday as the Sabbath. They key point in all of this is that we are not to limit our worship to any particular day of the week. We are to rest in the Lord every day. We are to worship the Lord every day |

In denying the Crucifixion Islam denies the very reason that Christ came to earth! This belief depends entirely on one infamous verse, sura 4:157: [The Jews said] ”We slew the Messiah Jesus son of Mary, Allah’s messenger’ – they slew him not, nor crucified, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain’. However, it begs several crucial questions, not least is how Muhammad could claim that a historical event did not happen six centuries after it was recorded by many eyewitnesses. That Jesus died on a cross and rose from the dead is beyond question from the Gospels (‘When they had crucified Him’ (Matt 27:35); ‘With a loud cry, Jesus breathed his last’ (Mark 15:37); ‘When they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs’ (John 19:33); ‘The angel said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you were looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here….He has risen from the dead’ (Matt 28:5- 7)) The last passage is especially important for Muslims, who pay particular attention to things that angels say to humans. Extra-biblical evidence for the reality of the Crucifixion includes the pagan writers Tacitus (‘Christus suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius’) and Lucian the Greek (‘Christians worship the crucified sage’), the Christian apologist Justin Martyr referred to the ‘Acts of Pontius Pilate’ (now lost, but must have chronicled the death of Jesus to have been referred to) and Jewish writers Josephus (‘Pilate condemned Him to be crucified and to die….’) and Babylonian Talmud (‘He was crucified on the eve of the Passover’). Early Christians used the Lord’s Supper and the Cross as symbols of their Master’s sacrifice (I Cor 11:23) and were never in doubt about the reality of the Crucifixion. Conventionally Muslims have maintained that a substitute man was crucified but this opens a can of worms. Usually it was said to be Judas Iscariot (impossible since he committed suicide, Matt 27:5; Acts 1:18) or Simon of Cyrene (Mark 15:21, impossible since he came from Libya and would have looked very different from Jesus). Why was it even necessary to involve an innocent substitute? Why did the crucified man not cry out that a mistake had been made? Why did Mary recognise him as her Son (John 19:26)? Why would God deceive the disciples, who, the Qur’an tells us were inspired by God and believed in Jesus (sura 5:111), into thinking that Jesus had died and risen again, since this made them realise that Jesus truly was divine (‘declared with power to be the Son of God by His resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord’ (Romans 1:4-5)). If Jesus was not God, this deception would have caused the disciples to worship another god, which is the greatest sin (shirk) known to Islam. How could God deceive godly men into committing the most ghastly sin imaginable – He is not a deceiver! A further problem is that if the man only appeared like Jesus, perhaps the Qur’an was not even given to Muhammad but to a man who looked like him. Finally, if the substitution theory was correct, if I committed adultery I could escape judgement by claiming that I was actually sleeping with my wife, but she merely looked like another man’s wife, and appeal to the Qur’an for a divine precedent. |
He also copied from books like Testament of Abraham, Talmud, Midrash, Abodah Sarah, Targum of Jonathan, Pirke Rabbi eliezer and many more.... and they still tell you that the quran fell from heaven. How sad!!! |
haffaze777:Why do u guys always insult people? This shows a lot about you and your religion. |
Empiree:How can you Force people to convert. Na by force ? |
Why must you even kill a fellow human being in the first place. The fact still remains that islam has produced more terrorists than any other religion on earth. |

Jozzy4:It actually means Jesus was with the father in the beginning as his word(Logos) I.e his spoken word. I have actually shared this on many thread, hope it helps. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:2 He was in the beginning with God. John 1:3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. John uses the Greek word logos to describe Jesus "in the beginning," or before creation and time began. Logos means word, but specifically it means the spoken word or a statement. Jesus is God's spoken word. John then explains that the Word (Jesus) was "with" God and "was" God. This statement yields two important conclusions regarding Jesus and the Trinity: Jesus is God and existed from the beginning as God, yet Jesus' existence is somehow distinct from God the Father. Jesus was "with" God and "was" God at the same time. This is the mystery of the Trinity: all three Persons in the Godhead are One God and yet all are distinct from one another. Moving to verse 3, John says that it was the Word (Him) that created all things. From this statement, we begin to see why Jesus is called the "Word" by John. Consider these facts we learn from John's Gospel and elsewhere in Scripture: First, we know from scripture that God the Father is Spirit (John 4:24), meaning He doesn't exist in physical form. So, there is no physical substance to God the Father. The Creation cannot experience the Father as He truly is, since we are bound to a physical dimension yet He is not physical. Secondly, we know that God's Spirit is likewise invisible (John 3:6-. He can only be known by observing His work in the Creation. On the other hand, Jesus is the member of the Godhead responsible for all physical matter. As John said, all things were made by and through Jesus. Paul says the same thing in Col 1:15-17. More over, Paul teaches in Colossians that Jesus is the "image of the invisible God." Therefore, He is the only Person in the Godhead Who has entered into and become a part of the physical creation. Jesus can be seen in a physical sense, because He is the One Who entered into the Creation and become a part of it (i.e., became incarnate). Therefore, Jesus is the One within the Trinity Who is associated with Creation, both as its source and as an ambassador of the Godhead to that creation. Next, consider how the Creation itself was established in Genesis 1. Genesis 1 teaches that the world was created by the spoken word of God (note the repeating phrase in Genesis 1, "Then God said...". So when God the Father determined to create the universe and everything in it,He "spoke" it into existence. But as John said in verse 3, Jesus was the One who made all things, therefore we can say that Jesus was God's logos, or spoken Word. We can begin to understand this partnership (at least to some degree) by drawing an analogy to how our own thoughts and words reach into the physical word. When we desire to command something to happen in the world around us, we must first conceive the idea in our minds. No one can see our thoughts. They are invisible, yet they certainly exist. Without our thoughts, we could purpose to do nothing at all. If our thoughts are to become visible in some way, they must move from the invisible realm of our mind and into the physical world. The progression from invisible to visible requires we transfer our invisible thoughts into a spoken command. The brain communicates our thoughts to our mouth where it becomes logos: spoken words. Once the spoken word leaves our mouth, it enters the physical world and yields its intended effect. This simple analogy helps explain how God the Father worked with God the Son (i.e., the Word) to establish Creation. This is John's meaning when he says that Jesus is the Word. He meant that Jesus is the physical manifestation of God the Father, just as a spoken word is the physical manifestation of our inner thoughts. Until Jesus took action and created the universe, there was no physical reality to God's presence. But when God "spoke" (i.e., when Jesus took action), the Creation came into existence. Later, Jesus arrived in Person to meet with His creation, and as Jesus spoke His words to His disciples, He fulfilled the Father's purpose by providing a physical representation of the Godhead to His creation. Hebrews says it this way: Heb. 1:1 God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, Heb. 1:2 in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. Heb. 1:3 And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power... Paul reiterates this same thought in Colossians when he says: Col. 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. Col. 1:16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities — all things have been created through Him and for Him. Jesus is the Word because He was the means through which the Father brought all physical reality into existence and because He is the One Who represents the Father's invisible nature and character to that creation. Just as your spoken word is the physical manifestation of your thoughts and personality, Jesus is the "Word" of the invisible God to His creation. |

adewalker:The problem with people like you is that you think it's all about the bible, or what John or paul wrote. NO!!!! See, people like us are christians because i have experienced, had encounter, being delivered, prayed for a fellow muslim friend who was healed instantly and his fellow muslim brothers were amazed. So my brother, I have PROVE that my God is so real. How real is Allah to you ![]() Forget about what mohammed said in the quran for a second and discover Allah for yourself. JESUS IS SO REAL TO ME. |
adewalker:whatever!! All I know is that we don't serve the same God. Face your allah |
blacq2009:King James did not write the Bible he only translated from greek/hebrew to English the same way Bishop Samuel Ajayi Crowther translated it to yoruba. Are you so dumb that you don't know that allah and YAHWEH are not the same and that our jesus is not your issa. Well I dnt blame someone who thinks washing his joystick with water after urinating will take him to paradise sha.. So you think giving Jewish prophets muslim names make them muslim abi ? Your case is so pathetic!!! |
blacq2009:Contradiction to you, but not to me. Jesus was 100 percent God and 100 percent man when he was on earth. And that is why he sometimes speak as God, and sometimes as a man. I still prefer my beautiful and precious bible to your terrorist manual(quran) copied from other sources. |
blacq2009:How do you explain how a terrorist prophet who was assaulted by a demon(jibril) sent by allah who doesn't even know the guy cannot read telling us detailed stories of prophets who lived thousands of years before him in terrorist manual called quran. Compare stories of Jesus in quran to thomas gospel of infancy of jesus and you'll find out that your prophet actually did copy and paste. |
blacq2009:Because the Father himself said it.Matthew 3:13-17New International Version (NIV) The Baptism of Jesus 13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. 14 But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?” 15 Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented. 16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “THIS IS MY SON" whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” |
blacq2009:Of all your 20 reasons, I love no 19 so much when you said he is the Son of Man. Jesus sometimes speaks as the Son of man(Flesh) and sometimes, he speaks as the Son of God(God). All your 20 reasons talks about Jesus speakin as the son of man. Well, let me also show you from the same bible where Jesus spoke as the son of God.Jesus Said He Was Equal to God. Quotes from Jesus... Jesus Said He Existed Before Abraham "Your father Abraham rejoiced as he looked forward to my coming. He saw it and was glad." The people said, "You aren't even fifty years old. How can you say you have seen Abraham?" Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, before Abraham was even born, I Am!" Jesus Said to See Him is the Same as Seeing God Jesus shouted to the crowds, "If you trust me, you are trusting not only me, but also God who sent me. For when you see me, you are seeing the one who sent me. I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the dark." "No one can come to the Father except through me. If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!" Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied." Jesus replied, "Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don't know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you?" Jesus Said He Could Forgive Sins "...that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"--he then said to the paralytic--"Rise, pick up your bed and go home." And he rose and went home. When the crowds saw it, they were afraid, and they glorified God..." He said to them, "You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. I told you that you would die in your sins, for unless you believe that I am he you will die in your sins." Jesus Said He Is the Judge and Can Grant Eternal Life "For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will. The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live." "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand." "For it is my Father's will that all who see his Son and believe in him should have eternal life. I will raise them up at the last day." Jesus Said He Was the Same as God "The Father and I are one." Once again the people picked up stones to kill him. Jesus said, "At my Father's direction I have done many good works. For which one are you going to stone me?" They replied, "We're stoning you not for any good work, but for blasphemy! You, a mere man, claim to be God." Just want you that you are an HYPOCRITE... You cannot just quote bible passages that favours you false religion alone and discard others, I think there is a need to always strike a balance. Do more research on Jesus the SON OF MAN and Jesus the SON OF GOD |
adewalker:Point of correction... Usa, Britain and Germany are not christian countries. These countries are free societies that allows for freedom of religion I.e you can practice your religion freely without being harrased. But it so sad that in your so called islamic countries, a christian cannot freely practice his religion. A muslim who converts to chritianity will be killed(Apostacy), and this is why a lot of Muslims who now know the thruth about Jesus cannot openly declare for fear of being killed. WHAT A RELIGION!!! |
