The sabbath you find in the law is Saturday.

The sabbath was mentioned in Genesis 2:1,2; and was also integrated into the law for the Israelites Exodus 20:8. But note that at NO time was the sabbath observed by Abraham yet he, inherited the promise, was declared righteous by faith etc

The poster below falsely claims Abraham kept the sabbath but cannot prove this. Before the law, there is NO evidence that anyone kept the sabbath! At least circumcision was given and we have details of how Abraham did it!

However, neither Jesus nor the Apostles commanded keeping of the sabbaths as a requirement for salvation. In fact the above must have been the reason why the Church met on sunday, the day of Christ's resurrection which they called the Lord's day.

I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, Revelation 1:10 See Acts 20:7 and 1 Corinth 16:2,3 (also see for better understanding of Lord's day http://biblehub.com/commentaries/revelation/1-10.htm)

Others like Enoch, Noah etc what we find is that they walked with God, just like Abraham, by faith!

Anyone who claims to keep the sabbath today(as found in the law) but does not keep the other sabbaths(there are others in the law too) is deceiving himself in the midst of a great misunderstanding.

Allahuakbar!. Back in 2007 i converted to christianity thinking it was the truth because of the so call love they preach. I was born a muslim but never really study quran, hadiths that much. So when this so called evil people that i now hate with passion came and showed me an easy religion where a person died for my sins and i all i have to do is believe in him. Well it sounded good so i joined began reading the bible and going to church till i even had visions of jesus. Well intrestingly when i started asking this so call jesus that was appearing to me. He turned violent. He was not jesus but a demon. Christianity is like a mother who spoils her children telling them they can do no wrong. Islam is like a mother who disciplines her children and lead them to the straight path. Then come the nightmares. When i ask people at the church what was this? they so no way will a jesus vision be a demon manifest to decieve. Yet even after praying in the idol jesus name i was still suffering. Through a dream i was reminded that i had left the straight path and headed in the wrong religion. It now made me think of all other muslims who said they converted to christianity based on a vision hmmmm. Did they test the vision or the spirit? Nope they just followed along. I thank God for leading me to the straight path islam who worship only God and not an idol. Now that i think of it even pegans and voodoo priest i have seen online use an intercessor image claiming they are trying to reach God. May Allah help the naive muslims who join this pegan religion call christianity. Now that i think of it jesus never said he died for our sins not did he ever spoke of a new religion call christianity nor did he even mentioned the bible. If jesus nor his disciples wrote the bible. Then who created this religion call christianity.

visit or keep company with a Gentile(Acts 10:28), many years after Jesus
departure? Was peter not aware of the cancellation? In fact, if it was
already in the divine plan that the command of not preaching to the
Gentiles would later be cancelled, then the statement of Jesus directed to
the disciples and the Canaanite woman in Matthew 15:24 should have been: “IT
IS NOT YET TIME FOR THE GENTILES” or something similar in meaning rather
than ; “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel”
