Zaiah:Before I answer, can you throw more light on why you mentioned surrogacy? What are the fears? |
LKO:Ok let me start from detected, I was in a clinic last month to test for hiv and I was told I’m negative because they didn’t find any HIV virus in my system, remember years ago I was positive with very high viral load and while taking ARV, it was suppressed and too small to be seen in my blood therefore I cannot transmit hiv to anyone and it cannot also be easily visible that I have hiv through ordinary hiv test. In another scenario, it can also be detected in the blood but then cannot be transmitted because the viral load again is too small(less than 50), therefore in as much as it is obvious the person is positive, the viral load which is the determinant of the transfer of hiv to another person is too tiny, so that means, it can be seen but not enough load to transmit, another scenario is someone with a high viral load, that means it can be seen and with also a high load, can transmit as well. The job of ARV is to reduce the load to the barest minimum to stop transmission and also even make it invisible which is the highest goal… |
This is what you call a dormant president, dress him up and present him at public places, take pictures and then he flies back home. Make God help y’all elect a leader though |
LKO:In my study, less than 50 is still suppressed and can’t transmit ,most people I know use less than 20 as well. But I believe 47 is still can’t transmit but I’ll advice you to follow the doctors instruction. There is a huge difference between transmitting and undetectable, one can be detected but can’t transmit. But it’s safest to be undetectable and that is totally not able to tranmit. In my case, if I’m above 20, I’ll fight to ensure it’s still below 20 .

LKO:A medical professional will advice better, they will change his drugs regardless. Detectable means detectable, I won’t want him to risk having sex without condoms all in the name of nutting outside, just ask him to have sex with condoms if he must wed soon. Prevention is better than stories that touch, at least we know the issue and can easily avoid an upcoming problem which is also a probability in my opinion. I can only advice from my experience, but please a doctor should have the ultimate say in this situation. |
LKO:He should meet his medical professional for advice, they probably have to switch his drugs for him, I’ve been undetected since the first time I became undetectable, I take my drugs daily at no specific time, no strict precaution or adherence at all, I miss sometimes and I just move on and say it’s ok(which is not a good practice), they need to change his pills, it is nothing to worry much about I mean below 50 is not far off, he should just be nice to himself, he’s trying. Think less about it, visit the doctor and explain or instead do another viral detection in another clinic to confirm that also. He should also have sec with condoms even after he marries, so he won’t be in a bigger mess. |
Maria di anyi nso in the mud |
What an actual mess…This guy should rather support another presidential candidate and start doing the job of Reno and Dino Melaye |
Did he also negotiate the boko haram vice he picked? |
The lady and man standing beside her were disgusted, the lady fakes laughter anytime she turns. A country filled with educated people but led by dummies, filled with decent people but led by touts. |
Sunday Igboho said so but y’all called for his head. The audacity to present Atiku after a fail 8 years of Buhari is something to really be studied. |
Croixcomedy:We aren’t watching, thanks |
Reno is now like a barking dog beaten by nobody, when he contested as Atiku’s vice, he wasn’t IPOB, now he is… PDP lost an asset after he left them. Reno and his clowns should move on and at least try to sell their candidates to Nigerians. We need to set a good standard for electing public officials in Nigeria. I’m sick of this gutter mouthed man, I’ll be disappointed if Peter Obi replied him |
This government sef |
Good one |
Tiwatoke2:Do you know what the energy transition is all about? Osibanjo leaves office in 6 months buddy.. APC no mean well for Nigerians, they should have at least given this dude their ticket, that will likely give people small option of at least falling into someone that have something in his brain still. The options for next years election should give people sleepless night, if it escapes of Obi, it’s going to be a big problem |
Passionate888:Ah, has it reached like that? |
The only job most politicians have is politics, they have no actual thing doing that can finance their expensive lifestyle than indulging in politics and fraud. They just see a fellow billionaire who they “know” already to be frugal and lives a simple life. You think they haven’t encountered how incorruptible he is? Most of them have discussed him freely at their leisure sometimes, so seeing him come to chair the affairs of the country will be scary to them because they already know him. I love that he’s not desperate, he already told people to vote him if they are convinced and believed in him or if not, go for other candidates. There is no desperation at all. If he looses, he will continue with his life and if he wins, he will get to work…. You can’t compare Peter with these criminals, only someone suffering from idiocy will do that. It’s that simple…. Again, vote who you believe in. |
Obi is in Charlotte, make them no de lie |
BATified2023:“A candidate that will loose”, you are suffering from a chronic disease, you’ve relinquished your right already and believed you can’t be of any use or make any significant change in the affairs of whoever will lead you. That’s the lowest of low, stop feeling worthless, you should convince yourself that you have a voice even though you know you don’t |
Just have vision that’s all, I don’t think if I know my alumni have an organized system, I can’t contribute at least 1 million naira a whole year in endowment fund(less than 2k dollars). May we take ourselves out of the shackles of thieves |
OmoNla99:Yes, commercial areas in major cities |
Nigeria copying the right things but not delivering their part. Whenever I drive into any parking in major cities in America, I’ll pay a parking ticket. You can also find places without a fee which will likely be a stonethrow from where a ticket is requested but we pay anyway because those fees are highly administrative and channel into development and other services which will eventually return to the masses. Lagos will copy the same approach, can increase the money anytime they want, then forcefully collect it and siphon it. Even when it’s obvious that the money keeps getting stolen of part of it is going into a personal purse, no one goes to jail, everyone just moves on… Until corruption is limited, people will continue to pay for services, will never enjoy them and will continuously question why they have to do so and they have that right. There are no regulations in Lagos, they can just wake up one day and place a certain bill on the masses and then loot after collection. It’s crazyyyyyy |
The speed most urchins are jumping into this thread only to be disappointed . I can hear their anger from the mountains….
|
People don’t read, have most of you even gone through ASUU’s request? they have slowly started convincing them that ASUU is the problem. Sad for Nigerian students really, the thieves in power should negotiate, you can gradually pay for those improvements, no one is asking for all the sum and the government should find a way to ensure that university are a little independent as well so as to fund themselves but you need a stable economy to be able to do that. Nigeria just needed change and jumped into fire, a party that is not ready and quickly hijacked the people because of their quest for change. May God help us |
If not for Stockholm syndrome, what else will make a person compare Obi to Atiku or Tinubu. Someone left office and till date refused salaries, pensions, gratuity, houses built for governors etc till date, no corruption charges and still goes ahead living his frugal lifestyle, you suddenly look at him and tried to compare him to Atiku and Tinubu. How else do you save a dwindling economy if not to suppress crime, stop budget inflation, employ capable hands that can actually do the work. You want to go from APC to APC, same group, same people who are killing Nigeria,if they meant well for you, they will at least look inward and find someone they can at least place to see if they can salvage anything but rather they have you the worst and arrogant and you are here jumping up and down. It’s has to be a mental problem… You cannot say you love Nigeria and hand it over to someone you cannot believe in(Osibanjo). Open your eyes and stop fanning your oppressors Note: It does not matter where the President comes from, Buhari is the President and the north is seeing the worst in it all, vote who can spend our money wisely please, they are borrowing money on your behalf and squandering it. Be wise for once |
You lied, you support Atiku because the APC ticket was given to a southerner. If they failed, you will support PDP at the state level… |
Zaiah:Sorry |
Zaiah:Sorry about that, there is nothing to fear, sometimes an ARV may not be compatible with your body, just tell your doctor something’s that have changed since you started taking the drugs, he will immediately change pills for you. Sometimes also you adjust to it as well, but I’ll advice that you speak to the doctor. Be happy, there is nothing to fear at all. Ensure you also have at least ibroprofen or any pain med so that you can take it once you start having pains. Regardless of the stage of HIV, it doesn’t matter, the only thing is to start medication and you will live your life to the fullest, just change medication and you are good |
Hj |
Penguin2:Al these curse no make sense, lefts campaign for Obi amicable, we will all reap whoever wins whether good or bad. No de dive and kick everyone, slowly talk sense into them to realize they are loosing their minds trying to throw Nigeria into the hands of thieves |
BigYash:Na thief them be |
