Politics / The North Had No Reason To Vote Against Buhari by megacity: 5:27am On Feb 26, 2019
Obviously Buhari has done everything to their favour. He gave them virtually all the appointments despite criticisms

Atiku was the candidate for restructuring and it was South that needed restructuring and change. When it really mattered however, the vast majoring Southern voters (especially SE & SS) simply refused to come out and vote, with less than 10% turn out in some places

Politics / SW Full Result: Why SW Total Votes Cast Is Small Compared To Other Regions by megacity: 10:25pm On Feb 25, 2019
I found out: Yorubas are more honest. The results tend to reflect what actually happened in the polling stations. They dont just sit somewhere, thumb print ballot papers and cook up imaginary numbers.

Compare this with NW. After just three states, they already have more votes cash that the whole of SW! I think that something very funny go on in that their NW!

Politics / What Did Atiku Do Or Not Do That Made The North Hate Him Like This by megacity: 9:42pm On Feb 25, 2019
Atiku is losing this election because of his woeful performance in the North ...If he even got 40% on northern votes, he would have won this election.

The South did everything for him ...Winning all states in SE and SS, plus SW also did him a huge favour by giving a good chunk votes

Politics / Atiku Has Won Southern Nigeria As Buhari Is Set To Win The North by megacity: 8:40pm On Feb 25, 2019
In order to settle this thing peacefully and make everyone happy

I suggest that Buhari should be President of the North and Atiku President of the South

I'm very smart right?

Enugu State alone more than cancels out Buhari's victory in SW.

What did Atiku do that made North to hate him so??

The OP is crazy. Please pay him no mind

Buhari path to winning has been closed with the results from SW and NC.

The margin from the upper north has also been significantly less compared to 2015. Nobody said PDP will win there.

By the way, PDP is doing very well in Sokoto, Kebbi, parts of Bauchi and Kaduna of course.

Yes the margin from the far North is slightly lower but then Atiku is certainly not getting the kind of bulk votes GEJ got from Akwa Ibom, Rivers and Delta in 2015

Politics / Megacity Projects Buhari As Winner Of The Presidential Election by megacity: 6:29pm On Feb 24, 2019
To win this election, Atiku needed to put up a very strong performance in the far northern regions of NW and NE. This was essential considering the huge number of registered voters with PVC in those regions. Atiku failed to do this as Hurricane Buhari swept through the NW and NE regions, winning almost everywhere including Atiku's own polling unit.

Atiku was espected to dominate NC but Atiku's performance in NC has also been rather below par. Suffering a crushing defeat in Kwara, overall NC is more like a 50/50 kind of thing.

SW did Atiku a huge favour by giving him a good chunk of votes and not delivering massively for Buhari. When all the votes of SW, SE and SS are tallied, Akiku might have a slight edge but the margin will not be enough to offset the crushing defeat he suffered in the far north.

Based on the foregoing, Megacity, a staunch Akiku supporter and who indeed voted for him can project that Buhari has won the election and returned re-elected.
