Not sure how that makes him a bigot. He probably felt a Northen Muslim candidate would get him more votes so he went with that. That’s just the reality of politics in the North. He did what he felt he had to do. It was a gamble.

Omokri's tweets and attacks on Obi created more enemies than friends for Atiku.

He diagnosed correctly that Obi's candidature was a major issue and was going to deal a significant blow on Atiku's chances - SE, SS and NC would certainly have voted Atiku if Obi wasn't on the ballot.

The way he went about dealing with the issue however was dumb, unintelligent and even ungodly. He thought his unwarranted attacks and insults on Obi would make his Obidients to abandon him but that backfired badly. Instead, the Obidients became ever more determined and fought back. Thousands opened twitter accounts for the first time just for the sole purpose of attacking Reno. In fact one guy called me to enquire how Twitter works just because he wanted to be responding to all the toxic stuff Reno was chunning out!

Had he been humble, had he been conciliatory, had he proposed a reasonable offer of an alliance between PDP and LP, maybe he would have been listened to. That is what he was supposed to do. But he chose a toxic and unprofitable path, and it all ended in shame.

I 'm sure the Obidients gave him a lot of sleepless nights, and no matter what happens, Reno Omokri will never in his life forget Peter Obi and his Obidient Movement

The Only Conversation we should be having on the Naira redesign is how to make electronic payment channels effective and efficient

- Banks should ensure electronic channels (ATM, POS, USSD, Web, etc) are always available and working efficiently
- Failed transactions MUST be reversed the same day to avoid unduly inconveniencing users.

Allowing anyone to have access to large volumes of cash should be out of the conversation. Cash is a breeder of corruption. Bribes, armed robbery, kidnapping are all mostly settled will in cash and will be significantly solved if cash is done away with
