Politics / The Warrior Called Corona by megacity: 8:23pm On Mar 28, 2020
Well, I don’t know who else is flabbergasted by the warrior – the tiny virus- called General Corona. But surely, no one will argue the fact that Corona has been a true warrior.

Ability to take opponents by surprise is one mark of true warriors, and so General Corona took the world by surprise when he launched a surprise attack on Wuhan, the capital city of Hubei province in the People's Republic of China. It is the largest city in Hubei and the most populous city in Central China. The world seemed oblivious of the fact that General Corona’s real intentions was to take over the whole world and the attack on Wuhan was just a decoy.

Before the world knew what was happening, General Corona had shut down virtually all economic activities in China, the most populous country in the world. Undaunted, General Corona stormed into China’s neighboring countries South Korea and all, shut down their economies as well and sent all their people scampering for safety. The great warrior forced the people to retreat and hole up in their homes, unable to venture out even onto their own streets for fear that General Corona might be there.

Insatiable General Corona having shut own Asia headed for Europe. When he got there, he shut down Europe as well. General Corona learnt that the Europeans are proud of their big cities – London, Madrid, Milan, Rome, Munich and so on – so he shut all of them down. As he did in Asia, again he forced the Europeans to retreat and hole up in their homes, afraid to come out to their own streets for fear that General Corona might be out there. While in Europe, the General learnt that the people love their sports especially their football. So, he forced them to shut down their leagues – Champions League, Europa League, whatever league.

General Corona being a true warrior doesn’t really like wasting his time on soft targets. When he gets to any country, he goes straight for their rulers. So, when he got to UK, it wasn’t long before he attacked the palace. He launched a ferocious attack on their Prince. As they were trying to come to terms with what was happening, the General ordered a direct attack on their Prime Minister. As the stunned Europeans were mobilizing to counter General Corona, the General, unrelenting in his world-wide conquering mission, had already ordered his forces to head for the Americas and Africa.

When the general got to America, as usual, it wasn’t long before he headed for the seat of power- the White House. Unsure if he had been wounded by General Corona, the American president was forced to test. While it seems the president escaped, General Corona has nevertheless not relented in ravaging their cities and closing down their economy. As he did in Asia and Europe, the warrior has dealt deadly blows on so many and forced many to retreat and hole up in their homes. The warrior forced them to shut down their sports, their night clubs and all the things they love to do.

In America, the General learnt that the Americans take pride in their education and technological advancements. They said Harvard was the world’s number one university and epitome of education and learning. So General Corona of course wasted no time in attacking Harvard – launching direct ferocious attacks and afflicting Harvard University’s president and his wife.

For Africa, General Corona’s approach was to launch simultaneous, multiple attacks on several countries. The general learnt that their most populous country is a certain country called Nigeria. So, he immediately attacked Nigeria through their commercial capital Lagos. As usual, and not wanting to waste much time, he again headed for their seat of power – Aso Rock. When the General got to Aso Rock, he learnt that the president is a sleeping president and the most powerful man there is the Chief of Staff. Without wasting any time, the warrior went for the jugular of the Chief of Staff. Such has been the fear generated by General Corona amongst men that even countries and areas the General has yet to enter are shutting down virtually everything for fear that Corona might be headed their way.

For the Children of Men, this is certainly the greatest attack in living memory. I ‘m not certain if General Corona is aware that the high and mighty he has stepped on their toes are not sleeping. They have been spending billions of Dollars and sleepless nights in laboratories around the world, just to find an invention that would exterminate General Corona. Various religious groups have been holding prayers upon prayers just destroy the General. I’m not certain how long it would take but I suspect that the Children of Men would eventually find a way to overcome the General. But no matter what happens, no one would argue that General Corona has earned a place for himself in himself in history. This set of Children of Men would never in their lives forget the tiny virus - General Corona, who came, saw, and stunned the world.

I was being asked to bring extra 15k on each passport which I refused because I had already spent more than I was meant to.

When I saw that there was no other way, I paid the 15k on EACH passport.

Lodge official complaint against the people you paid at EFCC or petition the Commissioner of Police

Mstick:
Immigration office in Federal secretariat Aba road, the immigration officers are extorting citizens. Most of us paid for express passports since last year and till today we’re yet to see what we paid for rather we’re being asked to pay extra 15000-20000.

The Immigration officers there said it’s an order from the PCO since he returned from Abuja. Because according to him he “hustled” to get the booklets from Abuja.

I just want to know if it’s a crime to be Nigerian? What can be gotten easily in Nigeria without extortion?!

I went to take my passport I paid for since last year October and i am being asked to pay extra.

I just want to call the attention of the Comptroller General to this pure extortion going on in the immigration at Rivers state. When I walk around the immigration offices I see adverts that warn against bribery but your officers are taking bribes brazenly.

Mynd44, Lalasticlala, Dominique.
Please help me send this to FP so the appropriate authorities can see this. Thank you.

It's same situation across the country and not just Rivers.

You can get your passport same day or next if you are ready to pay the price. If you refuse to pay extra and insist on the official fee, it may take forever before your passport comes out. Sad but that the way it's been for a long time
Religion / None Of These Diseases by megacity: 5:21pm On Mar 22, 2020
If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in His sight, and wilt give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee which I have brought upon the Egyptians; for I am the Lord that healeth thee

Politics / Re: "Yoruba Muslim".....a Joke That Need To Be Stopped by megacity: 7:35am On Feb 07, 2020
Godoverevery:
whoever coined these words "Yoruba Muslims" must be pulled out of his/her foolery.
A yoruba man/woman isn't a religion bigot,we are too sophisticated to be clouded by religious sentiment..... we have our differences but religion isn't one. I for one am a Christian but I have relatives who are Muslim infact my mum junior sis married a Muslim which means I have cousins who Muslim and we are very close...no one can make me see them as enemies d way some cretin try to paint them.
Before it was a Yoruba man can never be trusted, they're betrayals but the narrative has changed is now the Muslims among them that are your enemies.
We stand as one ...we are too educated to be torn apart by religion by some people who aiin't sure of what they want.
Is either you say whatever is on ur itchy throat against we Yoruba as a whole or Stfu... enough of this Yoruba Muslim foolery talk.
We will never deny or fight ourselves cause of religion...we celebrate Christmas and Eid together.
Come to our region u will see both church and mosque on the same street..u will see a Christian singer featuring a Muslim singer vice versa on there songs.
We are peace loving and accomodating....we don't preach hatred to our children and never discriminate along religion lines.
So whoever is still in the foolery of thinking he can move the Yoruba Christian to his/her side and turn them against Muslims among us is a MVP in the fools league.
Is what you wrote reality or wishful thinking?
