SportsRe: Obasi Tops Opta Scores by MeGaStReEt: 6:31pm On May 29, 2010
honeric01:
Why would he pick obasi ahead of Haruna? this is so wrong, obasi didn't even have any short at goal, is it not the same match we all saw and matched on tv? we that watched it on tv saw everything that went on on the field of play more than anyone that watched it in person.

in your own word, who should have gotten the Opta? or do you support largerback's pick?
what is your problemhuh If you think Haruna deserves to be what you are trying to make of him, then you have to think again, becuase that Haruna IMO still need to work very hard for him to be on the plane to SA, I watched the match against Saudi Arabia, and he doesn't strike me like somebody who is worthy to be in SA, execpt if he can prove me wrong in our next 2 matches. its good to fight and win the ball, but when you win the ball and give it back to your opponent is as good as notin

There is no way Largerback is going to bench Mikel for Haruna, whats the essence of wiining the ball without doin sumtin useful with it??

Haruna was just runin around, im no fit make one accurate pass for 90min, a jaguda ball im dey play

If by luck he finds himself in SA, he should alwayS start from the bench

NO SENTIMENT!!!!!

Some people do not understand what it means to wake up every morning without ANY hope of having food to eat, you look at your back and front, left and right no hope, no helper and the next thing is "God whats this, No be people dey troway food so, Why is my case differenthuh? Life is full of ups and downs,  you will see alot of people on the street, dressed in a fine suit and trousier, they have not eaten for days, yet they don't have the courage to tell anyone about it, I am glad this poster has the courage to come in here and tell us what so many youths have concealed for years, I DONT believe this is a scam, Sometimes you look at yourself like someone who is suffering and have not hope, but when you hear or read about other people situation, then you will know you still have hope,

when i read Aisha, Chiejik and Bim4u poste, I couldn't help but to sheard tears, There are Nairalanders and There are Kind Nairalanders, God bless the hand that giveth, your reward is from above

God bless NL
SportsAdebayor To Partner Fashola On Academy by MeGaStReEt(op): 1:17am On May 13, 2010
can some please explain to me what this means?

Manchester City’s and Togolese soccer star, Emmanuel Adebayor, is set to join forces with Lagos State Governor, Babtunde Raji Fashola, towards development of BRF Football Academy owned by the governor.

Administrator of the academy, Kayode Oderinde, told sports24ng.com that the partnership arrangement had been firmed up following a meeting of the BRF Academy patrons and Adebayor recently in London.

According to the leader of the BRF delegation, Femi Pearce, Adebayor has agreed to support the academy is sourcing affiliations with clubs in England and other parts of Europe to which the academy would be sending its players for training, periodically.
Adebayor would also visit Lagos to meet with the players of BRF and other academies to motivate and inspire them towards the building successful career in football.

"We opened discussions with Adebayor in Ghana and he invited us to England for further talks and we have sealed the arrangement. We would have started the programme now but we have re-arranged for beginning after the World Cup because with the end of the English Premier League, he would be holidaying in Miami from where he would come to the World Cup to do commentaries for a media organisation," Pearce further informed.
