Assuming innoson buys treasury bills of 8 billion at 14% for one year, he would make 1billion and 40 million in one year.

Assuming he buys federal government bond with 8 billion at 23% for 10 years, he would be making 1 billion, 840 million naira every year. Now multiply that by 10 years.

See money. Does this man have two heauds? I don't know if I should intentionally withdraw money and leave it on the counter so my bank can steal it. Then I sue them and allow the case to drag till interest reach 100 million, then I cash out.

This is what Peter obi wanted to do with Atiku. To create an environment that will create real billionaires. Not billionaires made by the cabal and oil blocks, but by legitimate hard work.

How could a man make so much money from the Landlocked east to hold a bank with it's headquarters by the sea ransom?

Most times especially during political seasons, we always read about people threatening to chase igbos out of Lagos. They will tell you the SE is landlocked and igbos can't do without Lagos. They say igbos did not develop Lagos but Lagos helped igbos.

In one thread I asked non igbos who are disturbed by the progress of igbos in Lagos to go to the SE and retaliate . Buy land, develop and invest heavily in the SE as a form of revenge. They said there was nothing in the SE to invest in and no sensible person would go down east to invest.

At some point I was beginning to believe the Landlocked theory and that everyone had to be in Lagos to make it .

But the story of innoson and GTBank made me have a rethink. Innoson has always been in the east doing his business.

If you list 5 yoruba billionaires, all five have a hand in oil. Innoson as an individual has no oil block, made his money in the Landlocked east and is about to sink a bank by the sea.

Isn't it a mystery?

The Federal Executive Council, FEC, yesterday, approved N1.4 billion contract for the design of the 12-floor building for Department of Petroleum Resources, DPR.

Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr Ibe Kachikwu, disclosed this while briefing State House correspondents at the end of Federal Executive Council, FEC, a meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Council Chamber, Presidential Villa, Abuja.

He said: “FEC approved N1.4 billion for the design of DPR Head office in Abuja. The contract was awarded to Messers Arteck Practice Limited to design a 12-floor building in the land that is already allocated to DPR over the years by FCT to enable them to move their headquarters down here.”

He explained that the contract was awarded to DPR tenders board and that “their bid was the lowest, while the highest bid was about N3 billion, the next bid was N2m+ and then the third was about N1.4 billion.

What will happen If APC and PDP field northern candidates in 2023?

PLEASE has anybody been denied visa and the embassy stated in the refusal that it was because he or she did not include his tax clearance?

Because I was talking to my property lawyer about tax clearance and he said it's not business of the embassy whether you pay tax or not. And they have no right to deny an application over tax.

I am just confused.

Anyway don't waste money on the tax receipt cause the ECO won't know what it is and might put you in trouble for tax evasion.

Are your businesses registered? If well calculated, you shouldn't pay more than 500k in a year. You need an account to help you in that area. Not all of your earnings are taxed and you might get some exemptions too.

My brother, when you spend close to 600,000 on a truck with will take over 10 days to get a container from the port to a warehouse in Lagos , because of bad road in apapa, you have paid tax to the government.

Because on a normal day it would not cost more than 150k and a day.

That's enough tax.

What state are you in? I think you should tell that guy that you need a personal tax card from the state revenue office. Usually Lagos has its own personal tax card and it’s valid for 5 years or so. The card is a proof that you’re a tax payer and the good thing is that it doesn’t state how much you paid., the embassy will only verify the authenticity of the card from the issuer.

PLEASE everything is set but my challenge now is tax. As a business owner, you are expected to pay personal income tax.

Now what I intend to state on my application is that

I earn about 2,500,000 annually from my main business.

Like 600,000 from transport

700,000 from property rent

And another 600k from a side business.

This is totalling about 4,400,000 a year. Dividing this by 12 will be about 366,000 a month.

Now I will present property documents, transport documents etc.

Like I said I was in dubai in October last year and can provide details of flight accommodation etc.

However the guy I asked about tax clearance from the state internal revenue, said that if they would work out tax clearance for me based on the figure of about 366k month, then It will cost me up to 700k for the 3 years.

That's impossible for me to do, so he suggests I could just pay something as tax and I will be given receipt of what I paid for last year and not tax clearance. Because the tax clearance will contain details of how much and paid and for what income . But the ordinary receipt will only show that I paid something last year but won't contain details of my income.

So I am wondering if I should just throw in a receipt than going for clearance .

Company account has about 2m now while personal account has about 1.8m. The budget for the trip is 600,000.

why not some of you come together and think of a very good business investment.
Two is better than one they say.

Draft good investment or business idea. put this money together and invest back home or alternatively invest in countries like UAE(Dubai) where you can easily get a 10 years residence permit as an investor and you can actually get your business license with as little as 3 to 5M within 1month at max and that give you 10 years residence permit. run the business for a while and then use your company documents to easily secure a visit visa from any other part of the world.
that s killing 2 birds with one stone, now you guys have a business making you money while you travel.

1) is it ok to apply with a business venture and not Limited Liability.

2) do I just put business tax receipt or do I need to put both business tax and personal income tax? I don't want to spend money pay for that since business tax and personal income tax from 2017.
