Politics / EXPOSED; Buhari Part Of The Conspiracy That Killed Ken-sarowiwa by Mekateka: 6:23pm On Nov 11, 2014 |
In Ken-sarowiwa's last speech, He was credited with the statement below: "The military do not act alone, they are supported by a gaggle of politicians, lawyers, judges, academics and businessmen. All of them hiding under the claim that they are only doing their duty". (www.nairaland.com/1989424/ken-saro-wiwas-last-words). Mohammed Buhari was integral part of Sani Abacha's regime as PTF Chairman. Which indicate a close romance between Buhari and the late tyrant Sani Abacha. Before the execution of Kensarowiwa and other Ogoni leaders, notable Nigerians and international communities cried out against the judgement past on the 8th November, 1995 by Sani Abacha's Provisional Ruling Council (PRC), to hang the Activists. The voice of Mohammed Buhari was not heard. Two days later, 10th November, 1995, Kensarowiwa and others were killed. The execution provoked international outrage and resulted in Nigeria's suspension from the Commonwealth of Nations. In spite of the massive criticism of Sani Abacha's government, Mohammed Buhari was enjoying his fellowship with the regime without a single word of critic from him against the injustice on the Activists, Ogoni land and the entire Niger/Delta people. Birds of the same feather flock together. To Mohammed Buhari what Sani Abacha did was very just. 9 Likes |

wakacome:GEJ has failed the north and I'm very happy about that. The resources the past military leaders stole from the south to developed the north are now being bombed and destroyed daily by the same northerners just to discredit GEJ. Very very good development. Expect more God's punishments on those that conspired to kill KenSarowiwa and other Ogoni leaders. 3 Likes |

Politics / Revelation On 2015 Power Struggle. by Mekateka: 10:07am On Oct 24, 2014 |
In a REVELATION, I saw a flag of Nigeria hoisted in a jungle and out of curiosity, I surged further to feed my eyes. Lo, I saw a calm Elephant under a large and wide UMBRELLA-LIKE TREE. I was still pondering on how to move closer, then I saw a Boar stained with mud and a long BROOM tied on its back, approaching the calm Elephant. I immediately took a quiet state to observed what was going on. On reaching the Elephant, the Boar bullied the calm Elephant with all manner of sounds and moves. To my surprise, the Elephant ignored the Boar and remained more calmed. About 15 minutes later, the Elephant suddenly stood up and used his tusks to threw the Boar back into the muddy river. And I saw a large crowd of people took over the show with celebrations; dancing and singing victory songs. Fully amazed, I called on one of them to explain the episodic event. And he said "The calm Elephant just won the 2015 presidential election in Nigeria". Finally, I asked myself; Who is this CALM ELEPHANT? 2 Likes |

Politics / Please Help Interpret My Dream. by Mekateka: 4:43am On Oct 24, 2014 |
I had a confusing dream last night. Please help interpret my dream. In the dream, I found myself in Abuja precisely Bissau Street, Zone 5, Wuse District. The whole place was covered with darkness and totally deserted. Sudden fear griped me and I ran toward a direction and I appeared in another part of Abuja. I discovered I was at Michael Okpara Way, Wuse Zone 5. Something caught my attention here, there was light everywhere and I saw crowd crowd and crowd of people celebrating. I became inquisitive to know what was happening and decided to call someone. Guys I was totally shocked when I saw the date and time on the screen of my phone. DATE: 16th February, 2015. Time: 9:36 pm. I became more confused and I wakeup from sleep. Please someone should help interpret my dream. Please where is APC national secretariat located in ABUJA? |
Politics / PUNCH Readers Offer To Pay Abandoned Children’s Fees. Nairalanders Can Do More by Mekateka: 3:35am On Oct 24, 2014 |
Readers of Nigeria’s most widely read newspaper, The PUNCH, on Thursday, offered to pay the school fees of the three children that were abandoned by their father, Mr. Segun Adepegba, at Solid Rock Model College in Abule-Iroko of Ogun State for eight years. This is just as the Ogun State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development also indicated interest in the issue. Since PUNCH Metro exclusively reported the story of the three children, Seun, 14, Titilola 13, and Seyi, 10, several interested persons have indicated interest in helping the children. On the PUNCH website, many readers expressed their sympathy for the children, promising to donate money to pay the accumulated debt of their school fees. The father of the children, after reading the report in PUNCH Metro, after being incommunicado for about eight years, said hardship forced him to abandon his children at the school and promised to visit them before the end of the week. Many readers, who blamed Adepegba for abandoning his children, asked that a bank account be opened so that they could make donations. A PUNCH reader, identified as Austin Sunny, urged the Ogun State Government to intervene in the welfare of the children. Anthony urged the government to emulate other developed countries who have good welfare plans for such children. He wrote, “One of the things that made the United Kingdom to be great today was because they take care of the needy; children and mothers; elderly people and the pensioners! All these cannot be seen in Nigeria today. This needs to be considered.” Adeyinka Adejumo, who said he cried when he first read the story, also indicated interest to make donations. He wrote, “The PUNCH should please furnish us with account details. I will surely assist in my capacity very reasonably. I really wept the first time I read the report. I’m so happy that their father has come out of hiding.” Another reader, Kunle Williams, wrote, “I’m also willing to contribute to the education of the children. Let’s stop throwing punches, he who wears the shoes knows where it pinches. It is a crazy country. We need a change of leadership from a government full of propaganda and fake statistics that doesn’t impact the life of a common man. Nigerians are struggling to feed in the midst of plenty. That must have forced Adepegba to run away.” Another PUNCH reader, identified simply as Busanic, wrote, “My heart bleeds! Can PUNCH provide an account so we can pay these kid’s fees?” Still, another reader, Jane Edosomwan, wrote, “I will be glad to contribute if PUNCH can provide an account. I hate to see kids suffer.” A reader identified simply as Adesoji wrote, “ I would like to be a partaker of this blessing by contributing my quota once the account is made available by PUNCH. An anonymous reader wrote, “I am happy with the suggestion of providing an account for the welfare of those children, and to my greatest surprise, many Nigerians have supported this suggestion and that has shown that we are good people with good heart in one nation. “What I am seeing in today’s Nigeria is giving me the feeling that Nigeria will be better, all we need is true love. Once the account is displayed, no amount is too small and God will help us all to contribute.” Mrs Torera Oshinowo appealed to Adepegba to fulfil his promise of visiting the children. She wrote, “I want to beg Mr Adepegba in the name of God to visit the children at their school, God will help him. The day I read the news about the children, it really touched me.” Dele Odugbemi blamed Adepegba for abandoning his children but said it was good that the children were not left to roam the streets. He added, “I really commend The PUNCH for publishing this story. Our government at all levels should endeavour to put welfare packages in place where the poor and needy could access when they have no means to pay their house rents, health care and their children school fees.” PUNCH readers are not the only ones touched by the children’s story. PUNCH Metro also learnt that the Ogun State Government has offered to assist the father of the children. The proprietor of the school, Mr Samuel Ayegbusi, said some officials of the Ogun State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development visited the school on Wednesday with a promise to check back next week to see how the government could be of help. www.punchng.com/metro-plus/punch-readers-offer-to-pay-abandoned-childrens-fees/ |
