You shouldn't be in that position. When NANS visited this man, you won't believe he walked out on then without anyone calling him to order. As a minister of Education, who's your number 1 interest if not the students?

slowpoke, it was the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu who walked out. You know next to nothing about the obvious and yet you want to talk.

This morning, the Honorable Minister of State for Education, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba had a virtual meeting with the State Commissioners for Education to get an update on their state of preparedness for the reopening of schools tomorrow.

And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it. (John 14:13-14)

and again

(Matthew 17:20 For truly, I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.) then whatever you ask for in prayer will be granted, there are obviously only a few options available.

if the above verses were true, there are obviously only a few options available for Christians to chose after their prayers has done nothing to remove the girl from captivity:

1) the Bible is wrong, Jesus never said these things

2) the Bible is right, Jesus said these things but Jesus was wrong

3) the Bible is right, Jesus said these things but Jesus lied

4) no one who prayed for anything that actually required god's intervention - like our Christians do for Leah Sheribu- had any faith

5) the Bible is just a collection of myths & fables & Yahweh, Jesus, Holy Spirit, Satan doesn't exist

1 John 5:14....." This is the confidence that we have in approaching God: That if we ask for everything according to His Will He hears us....." God's word is true and there is no iota of doubt in it. The important thing here is for God's will to be done. You will be amazed at the number of Christians who have been jolted back in reality of what we are up against. No man lives for his own purpose but for that which has created him for. Leah right now is serving her purpose.
James 1:5....." Does any lack wisdom, let him ask of God who gives generously to all without finding fault and it will be given to him"

Op, there are other ways Leah sharibu would have done it and set herself free from captivity and still remain a christian which would have been wiser than her inspiring christians who are observing the situation at the expense of her freedom and liberty.

Denying Islam in the presence of her captors who want her to change her faith to Islam for her freedom is not necessary.
The decision will never inspire christians in anyway, Though they can pretend to be inspired

I guess because she is still a child, she cannot think of any other way, so she remains in captivity(hopefully, God may touch her captors to release her)

An adult christian is not expected to be childish like that

I think this is an opportunity for us Christians to look inward and see how comfortable we have become. It is dangerous.

Most Nigerians dwelled on social media rumours to an extent that while other Cities were sleeping the city of Owerri got transformed in what seemed like overnight. Even though it's still ongoing a visit to the city will leave anyone with hope that Nigeria in general can be transformed. It wasn't an easy task as it took Governor Okorocha a very big will to do what is right no matter how it affects his rating. In a few years time most of the hardship caused by the revolutionary transformation must have elapsed and Nigerians will have one more Abuja to boast of in Owerri. Ok,so was driving through the new Akachi road and I saw this statue...I had to get on it. Trust me,the view from atop was way way cooler than I envisioned. Imo has got a tourist site in this! THE AKACHI STATUE.

So I came into Imo state hoping to see more of the eastern heartland than the media churns out. I was kind of disappointed with the fact that there seems to be no tourist sites at all,no tourist attraction. Asides the Oguta Wonderlake,are there no other places for tourists in Imo state? I totally disagree. I think we need to address greed and the tendencies of some youths living above their means and that of their parents. I have come across students from quite humble background,but they were disciplined enough to be realistic and responsible. If the country or system is to be blamed then all ladies from poor backgrounds should act the same way. Its a personal thing. #BeResponsibleForYourOwnSake
