At the risk of being dragged into the ethnocentrism by Mek.sucks.smiley am i the only one reading this?
80friggin% of the shrine patrons at okija are yorubas( haba lie small if you must lie at all)
your favourite uncle oh sorry "BLODA' Orji does not only lived "thier"(sic) in fact Toyota under bridge is where all his ancestors are from
eat a man before corronation, if only you short sightedness will allow you appreciate yoruba metaphor. Beside "corronation" can only be transliterated 'eating' thus being crowned king can be transliterated (errorneously) to mean "eating king(you need to take sociology classes )
very funny ogboni taught you ritualism, What of ihiagwa, odinani, et al
like i said before, don't tempt me cause i'll bite you real hard

Try and educate yourself. You may be Yoruba, but you sure are one helluva ignorant Yoruba.

Outstrip:

How can you keave out Michael Ezuruonye. Rita and Stella Damasus are delta not igbo. Francis Duru is so underrated. He is such a good actor. Igbos rule Nollywood though so it will be easy to make a list of igbo actors.
Why not top Bini actors/actresses LOL. I bet there are none

Ignorance. Rita is from Imo state, Stella is Igbo from Delta state. I know some Igbo in delta like to deny  their  heritage, but unless you are Stella, please allow her to make the denial herself. Thanks.

Actually the man is a Yoruba using an Igbo name to commit crime. It is common knowledge that Yorubas commit crime with Igbo names. I know Igbo crime turf; this is not one of them.

Yoruba and their first in everything bizzare. They introduced ritualism in Nigeria by ogboni and gbomogbomo at a time Igbos were still in diaper. Now it is skeleton worshipping. Truly bizzare!!!

Yes, Yorubas are in charge here https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-109719.0.html.

This lone man may (note may) be Igbo, but he lives in Yorubaland and forged the documents in the notorious Yoruba forgery headquaters-Oluwole certainly in collaboration with his Yoruba friends and colleagues. How often do you hear of any non-Yoruba-associated Igbo in such criminality? Most Igbo criminals are usually those living in ngbatiland or having ngbatis as friends. Again the genetic model GxE= P comes to play here.

~Bluetooth:

I dont believe this info, the north own the pdp but pdp has all the structure to win any presidential election.by the way,is NDP not ibb's party ?

How does the North own the PDP when the BOT chair is Yoruba, party head is Ijaw and party chairman is Igbo, all southerners? Your opinions most times are way off the mark. If the PDP has all the structures to win election as you rightfully pointed out, and as I have indicated, the three most important party positions are manned by southerners, it makes sense that the North will want to move away to a different party where they have a chance to win.
Politics / Re: Presidential Secret Deals: North Set To Dump Pdp by mekusxxx: 5:30pm On May 17, 2010
Interesting times. Was this really unexpected? Who would not do same seeing sugar being taken out of their mouth? I wager that the south will do same if they were the beneficiary of the PDP rotational presidency at this time. Recall that in 2003 when OBj was to be impeached, the Yoruba that hitherto rejected him, abandoned their AC party and supported him massively. The result? Unlike 1999 when he lost massively in the SW, in 2003 he got 100% of the votes there. Igbos, and certainly Ijaws,  will also do the same, except that my Igbo brothers are somewhat politically DUMB.

If the North moves enmasse from PDP, it will be a true test of northern unity versus southern (dis)unity. Interesting times indeed. And boy, I am glad I am so far away from the 'maddening' crowd!!

Who is the owner of OANDO? Your guess is a good as mine. Hhahahha! the rump of these people are consistently being exposed. First it was the CBN showing us that most of them are merely debtors. Now add to that the realization that they are also tax evaders. Should this ngbatiman not be in jail?

Lagos: Man muders mentally challenged woman …Says she stepped on his foot
By MATTHEW DIKE

Friday, May 14, 2010

A 25-year-old man in Lagos has allegedly killed a mentally challenged woman in cold blood.

Abiodun Gafar claimed that the woman, popularly known as Iya Ibadan, stepped on his foot and that was the reason he used a sharp, curvyed knife to slice her throat on May 9, 2010.

Gafar alleged that before he slept and woke up at about 11 pm, he had smoked Indian hemp. So, when he left his room at Better Life street, Makoko area, he went to urinate outside and as he wanted to go inside, the mentally challenged woman stepped on him.

The suspect alleged that the devil took control of him and he killed her. The alleged murderer said it was because of Indian hemp smoking and bad friends he had at Mushin that made his mother to bring him to Makoko area of Ebute-Metta to live with her. He claimed to have been sick but his mother had no money to treat him at a hospital, instead, she took him to native doctor.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Frank Mba, a Superintendent of Police, asked if the suspect was told to kill a deranged woman for something, he (Gafar) said nobody sent him to do it.

The suspect begged government and the Nigeria police: “Please, the government should forgive me. Police should forgive me, I beg. I’m from a poor family. No one to help me. They should forgive me. I don’t know the devil that made me to kill her. I was slicing her neck. Later I realized I’ve killed somebody. I bought the knife and plastic because I wanted to sell meat. My father is a butcher. He sells meat at Akinyole Local Government. I’m from Oyo state. I used to do bus conductor job,” Gafar pleaded.

Mba described the murder as sadistic and unprovoked. The police spokesman said it was a resident in the Makoko area, who alerted policemen at Yaba Police division that a man was killing somebody. He said Iya Ibadan was living on the streets of Lagos as a result of her mental problem. The police spokesman added that the case would be transferred to the homicide department of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) Panti, Yaba for further investigation.
