somadinho10: Honestly speaking I'm in my final year in the university and at a 4.7 but I'm already regretting going to school the ones that have graduated are not motivating we undergraduates at all,the olodo's back in secondary school are by far doing better once you know what your doing, our parents have paid so much emphasis on education we all must not go to school even in america most of the successful ones are either drop out or just went to acting classes, got picked playing high school basket ball, our govt has failed us,they should put more emphasis on sports, entertainment,IT,open technical schools that are well funded etc, make I stop here lecturer don enter class guy, try graduate with d 1st class first. Even tho job is scare bt everybody's case differs. As u graduate, seek for many ways/option of gettin a job and making it in lyf. Its well. Stop lookin down, look up! |

I always wonder what he'd be saying or doing. i feel u dear. He needs 3 sound engineers/professionals in those fields to assist him, or rather they need him as their assistant. They sacrificed technocrats on the altar of politics, chai! They are all confused sha. |

bonechamberlain: this is a tactical plan by APC to silence any perceived powerful opposition against its policies and govt. I don't see why only a particular political party members are being investigated and harassed for an Utopian corruption charges. the day of reckoning is coming. Eventhough they are hugely corrupt as they jst came out fresh from governance, i see it from anoda angle: to curb d financial wings and rubbish d image of their opposition/rival.....PDP.....for next election. How i wish PDP will win after 8 yrs, so they can balance equation and by so doing Nigeria(ns) wil be the better for it. |
Politics › Re: Bayelsa Reduces Salaries Of Political Appointees by Mekyno(m): 7:00pm On May 14, 2016 |
olillywales: The Bayelsa State Government has announced a 30 per cent slash in all political appointees pay in the state.
The state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr. Jonathan Obuebite, who spoke on Thursday, shortly after the State Executive Council meeting in the Government House, Yenagoa, announced that the 30 per cent slash in salaries was necessitated by the prevailing economic situation.
He, however, gave a glimmer of hope for workers in the local governments, saying they would start receiving the salaries they were being owed as from Monday, May 16, 2016.
In his remarks, the Head of Service, Singabele, said the executive council directed that all permanent secretaries, heads and chief executives of parastatals and extra- ministerial departments as well as all headmasters and principals of secondary schools should prepare an authentic nominal roll and payroll of their various establishments.
http://www.metronaija.com/2016/05/bayelsa-govt-slashes-political.html it is long over due, esp. in this economic crunches, if the info is true. This needs to be done all over nigeria among political office holders (30-50 percent slash). What is buhari waiting for? Thumbs up! Dickson. |
