How possible is it to pickup dependants passport, considering, she signed the initial slip that is needed to pickup the passport.?

My wife isn't available to do the pickup herself, however I do have her pickup slip.

Doesn't matter...I signed mine but my wife picked for everyone.
Just go with their birth certificates, also go with your ID card and her own .

Pls is it possible for a student to apply for visa with dependants. The student didn't inform the school that he will be traveling with dependants during CAS application because the dependants Pof wasn't ready during CAS application but all there POf is ready during visa application. Will it affect them if they apply together. Has anyone had similar case and was issued visa with dependants.

You don't even need to inform your school that you will travel with dependants?

Apply for your visa with your dependants. That's the normal thing. Same thing I did.

Pls if when filling the application form for the VISA and one put aug 20 for date you plan to leave to the uk but the date given for biometric is 19th aug…hope there’s will not be issue with that?

Do you mean layover? Anyway when you have to enter a transit flight you dont offload checked in luggage. Just your hand luggage. You won't see your checked in stuff until you land at the final destination. Even if you use 3 aircrafts.

For context.
if you book Abj to Washington with Emirates, they wl take you to Washington before you see your luggage again. Even if you switch planes at dubai. It's different if you book 2 separate flight itineraries yourself for example 1 from abj to dubai. Then book another one from dubai to Washington...in that case after each flight you will get your stuff.

During transit in the same airport, the airline will move the baggage’s while you change planes. You don’t need to move your bags yourself.

Not always the case, I have found flights with transit time of less than 3Hrs, although I wouldn't know if these are still available.

But will there be need for offloading of luggage during transit time?

Qatar is never direct, you will transit through Doha, and transit time for Qatar is usually long.

Also the salary she is stating must be way higher than what she is currently earning ( As it is won't make sense spending all this money and not earn more). UKVI expects return on investment from your intended studies

Yeah I agree with you cos I’m one of them and I have a couple of friends in the same boat. Even though we paid for priority service. It was just on Friday that one of us received the visa. I’m praying that by Monday, it will go round. They will settle us all.

Mine was on the 29th and it was priority with dependants...I got a not straight mail and nothing yet till now...and there are also many others as well. Just that many are not speaking up.

That is the case. I know 7 people that did on the 26th of July (Lagos and Abj) that their application is still at DMC. Some got the non straightforward mail, some didn't.

You shd have an excess in your account for this. Just have an excess of $1000 in your account so you don't get stuck while on your application.
