My school rep advised us to apply even though our documents were not ready in order to get a closer date for biometrics BUT DO NOT upload any document! Choose a biometrics date that would be a day after all your documents are ready. When you get all your documents, you can go ahead and upload and then proceed for your biometrics the next day.
A lot of us on the group did it and have received visas. I’m still awaiting mine.

Please, my wife who is my dependant has not been able to collect her new passport and the old one will expire next month.

We planned applying together but the passport issue is causing a delay. Is it possible for her to apply for TB test with alternative identification without necessarily using the international passport, just to avoid unnecessary delay...

Please I would appreciate your help, or incase you have an experience on the way out.

Good evening all. Gurus in the house please I need your input in this my matter. I already started my course last year but currently in Naija to take my kids and partner. Their POF will be ready by the end of this week but their iom appointment is on the 19th, I plan to submit their applications before the test in order to secure a close date for biometrics. Is their is any rule against this?

You are in order...you can go ahead and submit their applications but make sure you upload before biometrics.

They don't need to sight your passport and yes you can send someone to book for you...just your name, passport number and email address.

Best bet is for you to go and make another booking.
Booking online now may not be feasible as the date is far

Good day great people. My spouse wants to go for manual booking at iom ikeja, is she ok with copies of her passports & that of children or she must go with original passports ?

She doesn't need that...she can just write the names and their passport numbers on a paper. When she gets there she will just recopy them.

It can be from your present/former employer or someone that can use his or letter head paper to write the reference letter.

It's advisable to get it before traveling because there are some companies in the UK that may request for it when you apply for jobs..

You can get in other states police formation.

I don't know about that...you can get a dollar card from your bank. Buy dollar from black market to fund it .

Hello everyone, my son did his capturing at Ikoyi on the 14th of June but up till now, no response from their end. The agent keep saying the file is at affix and approve department, and we really need this passport for our Visa application. Hubby and I intend going there tomorrow, is it a good idea? And who can will make enquiry about the application from at the center? Because it’s obvious the agent doesn’t know what he is doing. Please I will appreciate any suggestions.

If your center is vi then you have a better chance...Get to the venue as early as 6am then stay on the queue...write down your names on the list of those for walk in...further instructions will be given if you would be allowed for same day or an appointment date will be given...it's 42k...you will pay with your ATM card

Apply for a dollar card just the same way you apply for a naira card.

Application date: 20th of June (the date I paid Visa fee and IHS)

Online submission: 14th of July (When I uploaded my documents and finally submitted application)

Biometric: 15th of July

Collection email: 29th of July (2 weeks after biometrics)
Collected today 30th with Visa stamped!

I was afraid because due to some “error” I had done what had been advised against, but thank God!

N.B: Proof of funds had not gotten up to 28 days as at 20th of June when I paid Visa fee and IHS.

Congratulations...this is a case study.i suggested this to someone but he said it's not possible...that one shouldnt pay for ihs and visa before your 28days POF clocks else it's automatic visa refusal.
