Please how do I start the process of "assisted service" after my 28days for POF.
Do I need to book an appointment first?

My 28days expires on 20th July.

Are you sure of this ? My wife and I where at IOM ikeja there was no refilling of form the only confirmed what I filled online

There is a form you will fill online when you get inside.

Nah, I understand and you’re right nothing is compulsory but read it again, his agent said he should do assisted service to get an earlier biometric date…. Which is true. If you do self service…. The biometric dates are farther. Let’s try to understand first

Nothing is compulsory.
It's either you get a self-service or an assisted service date on the booking schedule depending on which is available for a date suitable for you.
Avoid that agent in future.

Please at what point does one need to use "assisted service" because my agent said it's compulsory just in case I didn't get an earlier visa appointment date.

Hello gurus in the house
My wife will be traveling for September intake so I had to transfer the funds to her account for her POF so that she can indicate self funding...My question is, is there any need so provide supporting evidence concerning the money in her account since she is not working during visa application.

Without the CAS, the person can’t apply for a visa. Except they get CAS from a different institution.

Let’s be very open & encourage our friends to be open with prior immigration issues & give explanations when necessary, it helps.

£4,212 that you got.

I just confirmed now. She said it's =N= 11,700 and it's for assisted service, and it's had to do with appointment.

Why are you to still pay 11k for assisted service when you have an agent. The agent should be the one helping you upload all your documents and then give you to cross check.
For the visa and IHS fees I think that amount is for one person for a one year course.
It’s within that price range if you convert from the pounds equivalent.

So how do you suggest I handle this

But am kind of confused with what my agent sent to me. Below is what I got from her.

Visa fee for 21days is 483USD
IHS for a year is 979USD

TLS is 11,000

what a family of 4 (main applicant is the wife while the hubby and two kids as dependants) going to city of Wales are expected to pay for their VISA and IHS for a year.

No you can't it has to be six month...but someone here suggested you do migration but it will cost you additional fee.
I am not sure how much is the additional charge for migration.

I applied for renewal of my passport with more than six months expiry date, in such case, one will pay for migrating (just a token)

I will go ahead to apply but my question is that, God forbid, if I am unable to renew, can I still use the current one to apply for a visa?

You can only apply for a renewal when your passport is less than six months to expire else it will be rejected. Alternatively if it's still more than six months you can only claimed that your passport was stolen or got missing before you can apply for a replacement.

It’s not a must, there is always an option to use employment reference with a letter headed paper.

Hello gurus in the house. My passport will expire by October 2021 and am already waiting for the renewal to be issued as booklets not available at the moment. Can I go ahead with TB test before I get the new passport?

And if I go ahead with the TB test will it have an implication on my visa application?

Please can Affidavit stand in place of Birth Certificate as part of documents to submit during Visa Application.

And how much in Naira is TB test for a child of less than 11years
