The level of fraud and scam being perpetuated by these telecom companies got to stop and i just wonder what our so called NCC is doing about it. This afternoon, i received a call from Airtel, one of their advert calls which I av gotten very tired of. I picked it up and decided to listen to what it had to say. It was about loan recharge & i just ignored it. Few hours later, i got a message from d line saying av been credit with #500. I was surprised cos i didn't request for it. I instantly called the customer line to reverse the recharge as am not in need of it. It was removed & i thought that was all until i got another sms saying I still owe Airtel #50. I called d care line again & i was shocked to hear that Airtel could choose to recharge a line & whether i like it or not, I have to pay d commission. Now while ds is just #50, am quite sure they do this a lot and this is fraud and scam of the highest order & wish i cud punish them for it.

Looking at the pix u posted to judge, I think the faults on the walls are as a result of long exposure to whether elements and not diffrencial settlement. faults on building as a result of settlement are always at 45 degrees these are perpendicular and wider at the top. Solutions should be as follows... Use rods at horizontal along the cracks to hold the separated potions together or turn the craks to columns and run a beam to hold the entire walls together. I still look forward to other suggestions.

Sir, thnx for your observations, infact, thats the reason i sought advice considering the angle of the fault. However, a major cause of diff. settlements is an existence of roots close to the foundation. Now, this is present in this case.

This is a major crack and not minor. So you need to identify the cause critically and profer a solution to the cause before patching up the cracks pr separation.

The separation that comes from the ceiling noggings i perceive it separated due to improper bonding of blocks at that junction， since their is no column at that junction the blockwork are suppose to the well connected and bonded to avoid separation. You can either introduce a column at that junction to put a stop to the separation or you reconstruction the block bonding at that junction，but inserting column at the junction will be more easier.

The crack around the window opening downward to the foundation o perceive its a settlement from the foundation， may be their was a tree root that was not properly uprooted thefore the concrete foundation was laid or an existing debris beneat the concrete foundation which decays and causes the settlement. You can excavate the point of crack beneat and and introduce a cross bar like 4Y12mm with 600mm side laps to left and right from the centre of the crack the cast with concrete mix 1:2:4 mix，after that you can patch up the cracks on the walls.

My 1st observation was that its got cracks in all walls of the rooms as a result of settlements. looking down the floor, there was no german floor and there were roots of big tress obviously alive in one of the rooms. Plz i need solutions to the problems created. Its a bungalow.

I have been with smiles all over my face reading ds posts as it reminds me of a personal experience.
It was in a RCF corpers' family house during my youth service some years back. She was a very pretty lady i have been eyeing 4 a while. Now, it was not intentional o believe me. I walked in on her while she was having her bath! She actually 4got 2 lock d door behind & i was going in to have my bath as well. She was shocked & embarrassed as she shouted Jesus!....Lol.

We should commend d president for reducing Car in presidency from 3.4billion in d first version to 340million in the new one. That is 90% drop.

I agree he was not well advised on how to go about it, but it was done with d interest of d masses. But we should focus on end point of the action and not on frivolities PDP are feeding d masses with.

We should understand that Buhari was not under any compulsion to reduce some of those extravagance. He could have ignored d criticism of d masses and leave the waste in d budget. But he listen to us and amended it.

Why is it not an issue in the House of Representative? The Budget was not only given to Senate. The budget was presented to Joint National Assembly. Not to senate alone. House of rep has no issue with d amendment. But criminal Saraki in d senate is trying to over blow it to protect himself from code of conduct tribunal because the supreme court decision is close by on the 5th of February. He is wasting his time. If Saraki thinks he can connive with PDP to blackmail the president into killing the anti-corruption drive of the president, he is making a big mistake .

The Budget has not be signed into law. It has not be approve. So it can be changed or ammended. The president saw an error and chose to correct. He may have been advised wrongly on how to do it, but the overall intention is noble. Nigerians should learn to praise noble things rather than destroying it with useless technicalities and partisanship.


PDP should not be taken seriously because they dont care a bit about Nigeria masses.
They only care about protecting thier criminal members and looters.

Next time the president must ensure he prove read every document before making it public to avoid this kind of embarrassment in the future.

As far as i am concern, this whole noise on d budget is due to the fact that the President and Saraki are not in good terms. So senate President is making unneccessary noise about it.

There is no illegality in what d presidency did. No law was broken. He may have missed some protocol in doing it, no single law was broken.

As a member of Nigeria masses, I know when things is done for the interest of d masses. This case is clearly in d interest of d masses. I will rather focus on d nobility of the intention and action of the president, than focus on the technicality which is being overblown out of proportion in d senate by the senate president to protect himself from prosecution.

I have seen both version. They are almost 99% the same. The majoy difference is the reduction in Extravagance in the presidency in the new one.
