PoliticsShame On You Africans by melanch(op): 12:26pm On Oct 15, 2016
Everyone is criticising what Buhari said and most people don't even know what they are doing. Africa do not welcome feminism but we black people will always imitate the whites. A typical African marital background portrays the man providing for the family, the woman taking care of the home and the kids obeying their parents. If Buhari said the kitchen-livingroom-theotherroom statement, he is not wrong. That's what the African society thought him. Even if he was mean saying it, he is still right about it. I will look into history and see where a first lady talked against his husband. Soon!

First, what has Aisha got to do with politics? Other first ladies of even dictators and tyrants either keep quiet or create a foundation to help the less privileged. Look at IBB's wife during their reign...that's what a first lady does. Who made her politician?

Second, you Africans has a way to criticise every stupid thing. If you were in that position, I wonder what you will respond. You might even curse your wife!

Third, when we Africans start understanding that globalisation thing wasn't made for us. We always follow follow the Western world like as if they are your masters. Imagine if all of us, stand behind Buhari's statement or oppose what Aisha said, the West will understand that this the way we were made...not like them.

Finally, after all said and done, the first lady will still go to the kitchen and make a delicious tuwo for his husband. Later, sit with him at the living room and smile to the cameras and at night, welcome his husband to bed for a warm love-making.
PoliticsWhat Aisha Said Was WRONG! What Buhari Said Was RIGHT! by melanch(op): 12:01pm On Oct 15, 2016
A first lady should stand behind his husband and if she doesn't; then the kitchen, the living room and the other room are the best places for her to stick around. Up Buhari! if u dey vex, you know what to do! hugging tinz...

Your mindset is the very destruction of this country because you do nothing while being raaped!

When Rotimi Ameachi said" we steal because you do not stone us" he was referring you people like you which unfortunately makes up over 90% of the population in this country. How can we progress when cowards outnumber warriors in great proportion?

If anything good will happen in this country, If the government will take us serious, we need people with voice like the student described in that report, men who Stand for justice. Sadly, they gagged when it appeared that status quo is being threatened.

When Fela sang his song "we fear to fight for freedom, we fear to fight for justice, we no wan die, papa dey for house, mama dey for house, everyday na the same thing (suffering and smiling) every day na the same thing (suffering and smiling) suffer suffer for world..." he was forking referring to cowards, unfortunately these cowards make up over 80% of the population in this country.

He who run away from a fight will live to fight another day. You will be rapeed and so will your children because you refused to fight for justice!
lol I won't be raped neither my children. You talked about Fela, he was one out the millions that spoke out. You too can speak out, you don't need 80 percent of the coward population. I just gave you guys my perspective. Since Nigeria began, people has fought against the government but what were the outcomes. There's a difference between a social critic like you and a humanitarian, one just talks while the other improves lives. A better way to live a better life is to invest in yourself and improve other people's lives. Look for projects to do (no matter how little). The time you would use to criticise govt, you look for what you can do to help others you are better than. But if you think criticising on deaf ears will make the difference. All the best!

It is a good thing to remain calm in some situations. In Nigeria, we shouldn't take things seriously. As a youth, it's high time we stopped talking or writing against the government and start developing ourselves to touch lives. Writing heavy essays, protesting (putting our lives in jeopardy) and arguing about how government is bad didn't and won't solve any problem. We can only solve the problem by investing in ourselves, empowering our fellow youths and be the best we can be. Let's be our government.

I never knew there where atheists in Nigeria and I kept pretending to be a Christian until one day I accidently opened the religion section of nairaland and saw this thread www.nairaland.com/1981089/atheist-comedy-videos.

When I saw peoples comments and how bold the atheists were, I threw my garment of pretense away and boldly told my family and friends I was no longer a christian.

Darkmatter2525 really helped me to be outspoken as an atheist. Before then I was just a pretender.
you don't have anything else to post apart from atheistic stuffs. Thank God for atheism, if not you won't even know what else to talk about.
I advice you to do something else with your life. atheism no be career!

I just moved into a 3bed room apartment a little far from my former neighborhood. I have only spent 3 days here and no one have my address.

so now, my gf is in school in her finals. I have other female folks but not intimate with anyone of them. now these ones are asking for my address so as to pay me a visit.

let me point this out. these girls are attracted to me, same goes to me too. will I be able to contain myself if they come? because I will give them my address for friendship sake.

there are 4 of them.
sometimes people ask stupid questions!

Well you're not an outcast in the first place. Second place, you aren't alone. Personas like you abound. I have a feeling I'm one too.

I was having difficulty trying to find the perfect word to describe my kind of personality, only the word AMBIVERT came close.
An ambivert is someone who displays
characteristics of both introversion and extroversion.

I don't (well, no longer) drink nor smoke. Only a special type of women fascinate me. However I listen to music a lot- cools my soul. I watch movies too. Arrange for me delicious meals, fast internet connection on my pc and phone , lovely books (never romance) , and a RADIO, and I could spend a whole year 'alone'.

However, whenever I'm with my buddies, I'm the eccentric one. But guess what? After some time, I begin to miss my 'only-time' again.

I'm like a V who so craves deflowering, but can't endure the physical hurt caused by hymen breakage. Lol

It's crazy man.

Here's how Jenn Granneman of IntrovertDear describes my type

" Introversion and extroversion are not black and white. Think of a continuum with introversion on one end and extroversion on the other.
Some people fall closer to the introverted end, while others are near the middle. There’s
actually a word for these
middle-of-the-road people: Ambiverts "

Buddy, continue to be who you are. Someday you'd be loved for who you are.
Thanks so much for the insight! I think I love that word Ambivert.

Interesting! I know a gal like you.

U are not alone bro!
For a girl, it's kind of acceptable. But for a guy, people expect you to be wild and outgoing. That's the problem.

Since I am always on my PC, writing articles, browsing and blogging, they also say I am doing yahoo yahoo in addition to the ones you mention.

There is this small girl I met and she agree to be coming at intervals to help me with soup (dont laugh, i can do rice and stew lol), people just can believe that we dont have sex, for those that manage to believe, they cant understand why

But we are great writers cool
Sure I love writing too especially poetry. I surf a lot too. But are u sure na only cooking the babe do for you?
I'm just kinda relaxed to see I'm not alone. Sometimes the society expects you to do what they see as fun and that sucks!

The funny thing about people like you (technically like us lol) is that you think you are the only one like that, not knowing that there are more like you. (me included)

But what I have learnt over the years is that
If I tell some of my female friends the kind of reclusive life I live. They run away. Some think I'm a serial killer or something worse. My sister thought I was gay but I'm not!
