Common football knowledge should tell you that pacy strikers can easily be deployed to the wing. Mbappe can play in the centre and wing. Sterling as well, With Osimhen's recorded speeds, what stops him from deploying to the left wing in the SE, or is there anyone that can bench him there? It's not as if we even have a top left winger. So all our Good finishers should all sit down on the bench because Osimhen can only play 9?

Like play like joke, it will be very funny when you see Aribo playing for a team like Liverpool in few years time. He is English, so it will be easy for him to get clubs in EPL. Plus Gerrard connection. The guy is just too good. Quick feet, dribbling, finishing, decent passes, smart on the ball, left footed. We don't know what we have in that guy.

KC Nwakali remains a huge talent but his off the ball activities do not impress me. He strolls a lot, I want him to be getting involved every now and then, by opening up to receive passes to dictate the flow of the game, he has it in him because he has that eagle eye for passes of every range, he dribbles well and he is hard to be dispossessed, hence, he easily wins fouls. I believe he will do better in a team that enjoys keeping possession. Whenever the boy is with the ball, he always makes things look easy and I am never scared of him losing possession unlike when Ndidi or Iwobi is with the ball

lack of an enforcer is the biggest problem we have currently in the present super eagles team. Aribo have not really done that job well even of late I will like to see him deployed as a 10 because of his eye for goal and dribling ability

If can lay our hands on an energic enforcer as ac Milan Kessie or bennacer we are good to good

Even the incoming ejaria to me he is featherweight for the rigors of that position

to be fair that statement was made in 2019 before Ndidi had evolved to this current level. That said I agree his statement was very harsh because Wilfred even at that time was already besting Kante in some key indices like tackling, interceptions and recoveries.

I love and appreciate my country, but I am also not blind to facts. None of our defenders is on the level required to take a team far at a tournament like the world cup. Same with our goalkeepers. Ndidi is world class in midfield, and Aribo has potential, but with no solid AM, the midfield is also blunt. Osimhen is brutal, and Onuachu is a lethal finisher. However, our wingers have been very poor at the moment. Chukwueze isn't considerably improving to the level I thought he would get to. Simon and Kalu are struggling with inconsistency. Onyekuru is doing well only in Galatasaray, his comfort zone. These are not the type of players that can win crucial battles against big guns like France, Brazil and Belgium in the course of a major tournament. We need really good players, or better development for our potentials, and we need it soon.
