wolewill: Dear all here are the results, except for the herpes which will take 10 working days. You know I used to think I was smart and my being cautious could make me to always survive the pranks but I have learnt today that total abstinence is the main thing.

HIV 1& 2 negative
Hepatitis b surface antigen negative
Vdrl ( to check for syphillis) negative
Why so much noise about herpes, it makes possibility of contracting HIV higher and it can easily be passed to children. Then pains from it can be very unbearable whenever it surfaces like I am presently feeling.

Outcome of my coming clean with my wife will also be posted

Two days ago, i had a dream in which i was in my cousin's house and i saw my late grandmother bringing so many tubers of yam. My cousin and her mum were trying to take the yams when my grandmother scolded them that all the yams belong to me that she bought them for me and that afterall they have more than enough in their kitchen.
This particular cousin and her mum in real life are very covetous so i dont know what to make of these dream.

@Wonyi, thanks for your comment. I read PrimolutN contains progesterone which sort of triggers aunt Flo. Remember my hormone result says low estrogen and low progesterone(with PrimolutN,the low estrogen still remains).

@Seanbell, thanks for your comment also. The other day I was reading your diary to DH and started explaining what you went through to achieve your Lo.Hope you are both fine?
it is not as if i am not comfortable with my gyna(he is a chief consultant in a teaching hospital but am currently seeing him in his clinic). It's just that i want to be out of this suspense. Come to think of how many wasted months just because Aunt Flo wont show!

I had earlier posted 2 long epistles but it didnt reflect on this thread, i wonder why?

My period has been absent for approximately 6 months now( this has never happened before, though i am irregular, say 32, 39, 45 days thereabout). when it was 2 months i took a pregnancy test which was negative then at 3 months i started taking fertilaid and metformin(because i suspected PCOS)for 2 months i.e till 5 months yet aunty Flo did not show.As this was going on I was seeing my gynaecologist who told me to do the following: Pregnancy test(negative), Hormone Profile(low estrogen and low progesterone), HVS(uterus and both tubes open) and Transvaginal scan(everything normal).

With the above result, he said i should take birth control pills to regulate the hormone and i started that 3 weeks ago yet no period! He said i would be on that for 3months But i am thinking of stopping it immediately after finishing the first pack because for crying out loud it is BIRTH CONTROL and that is not what i want now! DH said a doc friend of his said i should take Primolut N so that i can see Aunt Flo but i dont know if it will help to balance my hormone because i wouldnt want this scenario to occur again(PLEASE GOD HEAR MY CRY).

On my own now, i am thinking of taking Pregnacare Plus Omega 3 because i read that Omega 3 regulates the hormone. This TTC journey is not an easy one. May God help us all achieve that which he ordained for us,amen.

@Hebrew woman, i read somewhere that metformin doesnt go well with fertilaid?? How do you do it and what dosage?
