My fellow Uniben alumni, you can check Langara college. They offer Post degree diploma in data analytics (2 years). I hope you have a soft copy of your transcript. Jaykeyzeeee: So this is my first post on here Though I’ve been a silent reader for the past few weeks and I’ve gotten a lot of insight on here
I’ve been stuck with making a decision and honestly I have been troubled cause any decision I make now influence my decision in picking a career path
So I graduated from UNIBEN around this time last year with a second class lower and ever since then I didn’t go for service cause I felt I had nothing to offer so I began to take online courses and get myself some certifications on Cousera and some other platforms on software Engineering I’m still yet to go for service anyways but I’d be looking to go with the next batch, and still unemployed but searching I’ve been looking to apply for one of these colleges in the North Atlantic regions of Canada as they are actually cheaper and affordable due to my financial status, dad is retired but willing to sponsor my tuition and other expenses from the sale of one of his landed properties I’ve been looking to apply for a PGD either in Software Development,Data analysis ,Cyber security or Business and advanced Analytics which the requirement is usually for student with computer science background,Accounting and other related field. So far, Most of the schools I’ve checked out are either offering a one year PG certificate in these courses or are either not open for application for fall 2023 I’m stuck between making a decision on going for a Diploma programme in Network Administration or a diploma in any IT related field which is a 2yr course
Please gurus in the house @ lekikibobo, frank and other bosses I need your help and advise on this one . God bless |

Yes, then I applied using just my Waec result and I attached a Waec scratched card for verification of result. I was given admission but I didn't proceed with the admission for my study permit. Jenniangel: When you applied did you submit any credential?? Have you gotten a decision from them? |

I didn't experience it when I applied year 2020. Toceen2022: I did everything, and paid. I got a payment receipt that shows they received the application fee. It was after that they started the story of referring me to an agent. See the mail attached below |

You will have go to the school portal, look for your preferred program and apply. N.B: If you are a new user, you need to sign up Toceen2022: I applied and paid my application fee on Jan 18th, after that I got a mail that they'll ask an agent to get in touch with me (as per say applicant from Nigeria) within 10 working days. After about 20 working days one Nigeria agent called, it was even on Sunday morning and said "are you Mr so so, you applied to NSCC" I answered and she said they'll get in touch with me if they need anything. Since then, nothing. I was just wondering, how will they call on Sunday, they didn't even ask for my credentials, transcripts etc.
The truth is if I had known that is their style of application, I won't even bother applying. I sent a mail to them last week asking for what's next, no response till now.

Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Menaluv: 5:08pm On Mar 03, 2022 |
Amen buckyfof: In less than 2 weeks my application will be 5 months.
If I honestly say I'm not tired and exhausted then I'm lying, I am kinda drained and it's hard to keep focus.
This further review is not even helping case because there are no pre assessment notes or anything to work on.
Canada study visa is truly for the strong. It will end in praise for everyone in the end. |

Congratulations Time2soar1: Hallelujah! God has done it. Got PPR today after almost 10 months
Timeline
First application refused January 29th 2021
Second application submitted May 22nd 2021 Eligibility started May 31st 2021 Ghost update June 3rd 2020 Medical expires August 2021 New medical updated to pass September 2021 Correspondence letter March 3rd 2022 PPR March 3rd 2022 Age over 50 years
First refusal reason was purpose of study and personal assets and finance. In my reapplication, for purpose of study I used sub categories in my statement of purpose such as introduction, why the program, why the school and a specific section on the purpose and benefit of the study. Though I stated all this in the first application I emphasis it more in the second application.
For personal asset and finance, I submitted bank statement and mutual fund investment letter like the first application but this time I liquidated part of my mutual fund investment into my bank account to make sure the money in my bank account is more than the total money I budget for the study for myself and my family then I sent MBS of the bank account and then a new investment letter with the outstanding fund in my mutual fund investment. I also attached valuation report of my land.
Most importantly I prayed to God for the approval. I give God all the glory because after the first refusal I almost gave up because I though age is against me. More so, I have two Masters degree already and I am going for another Master program but I committed it into God hand and He came through for me.
While waiting I requested GCMS twice but nothing was in them, eligibility shows "review required"
I hope this encourage someone. |

Yes, You don't need to liquidate your fixed deposit. All u have to do is to get a confirmation of fixed deposit from your bank. Merge your confirmation of fixed deposit, your bank statement and your evidence of tuition deposit ( as the case may be) as your proof of funds. N.B: If you have any other document to show as proof of funds, you can add them. ninab: Please has anyone used fixed deposit for visa approval ? Your personal account and fd
Please need to know whether to liquidate mine |
